Don't let the old classic exterior fool you. The inside of this hotel is beautiful and the beds were great to sleep in.

I loved it very nice staff and great customer service
The lady at the front desk Joana deserve a pay raise
Everyone at the front desk is very friendly and very helpful.
Great stay, excellent rooms. Being near an airport everything was expensive!
Nice amenities, but dont ask them to mail something like your phone charger back to you, unless you have a FED EX account!
Nice hotel. Really cool pool that is two levels and indoor/outdoor.
Cheapest airport parking. Bus is always on time. Great!
Breakfast was terrible, rooms are tiny, double beds are smaller than standard double bed size. Don't stay here!
The room was ok but hard to regulate the heat. A very cold weekend. Due to Covid the bar handled lunch and dinner. The bar was at the back of the lobby but open to it which made for noisy meals. The food was good. Friday night's service left a lot to be desired. We were waiting to place an order for food but as we kept being ignored we left and ordered Doordash instead.
The hotel is beautiful and the room was clean. For the most part everyone at the hotel was friendly and attentive. The rating is based on the hotel checking my travel partner out of his room early and losing his belongings. They failed at delivering quality customer service I have come to expect from the brand. They found his belongings after we flew home and offered to send them back. Hardly a good resolve for all the wasted time by both of us trying to find out where his items were and why they gave his room to someone else.
Not good for the price considering the rooms. Maybe acceptable at the discounted rate. Food is only standard and far overpriced. Even soda from vending machines is around $3.50. Parking is exorbitant as well.
Great customer service. I gave it 2 stars because the bathroom was too small no microwave in the room and about the cleaning was not done well it made my stay very uncomfortable like the night stand was very dirty the fridge as well.
Next time I go visit Missouri definitely will be looking for a different hotel.
Clean hotel. Nice Lobby. Friendly staff & shuttles to the airport every 20 minutes.
Room in a poor state of repair. Broken toilet seat, moldy ceiling tiles in the shower, and burnt out reading light. No dresser in the room. Stupidly expensive WiFi. Bed was nice and firm and the Smart TV is nice.
Decent facility. Wonderful staff. Beautiful bar and restaurant.
I attended a convention being held here -- as I am from St. Louis I am unable to comment on the hotel's rooms. The meeting areas were quite nice, as were all hotel staff I encountered. I was impressed.
Beautiful facility. Great pools! Rooms are very nice! :-)
We stayed for the pool. It has a shallow 2-foot end that our two-year-old really enjoyed. However, the room was small and smelled musty. Also, there was blood on the back of the bathroom door as well as the comforter. I know they don't wash those things very often, but it was very disconcerting to see blood. The hotel staff was exceptional. They went out of their way to help us several times. Due to the size of the room, the smell, and the blood we will not be returning to this location.
Great hotel with friendly staff but not very handicap accessible for those of us in wheel chairs with heavy doors and thick carpets hard to roll on.
I was told the room had two queen beds. I explained our need for that size bed and was reassured that all rooms had two queen beds. We arrived and I found out none of the rooms had queen beds. So we were stuck w full beds. Also the wifi was an extra $10 a night. The rooms are clean and the small beds would be comfortable if they were big enough for two people.
Excellent service, great lounge. Convenient access to airport
Lovely venue for a conference. Not very centrally located to st. Louis though.
Neat time capsule of 50s or 60s architecture. I hope they stay here and continue to embrace it. Only thing this visit is that they day I don't get free Wi Fi and we're wrong. Other than that, great
Checked in coming from the Pear tree up the road because of the indoor pool at the Marriot. Pool is okay, small and shallow. Our down comforter had fresh blood stains and the pillow cases had dirty hand prints on them. The staff at the front desk was very helpful as well as the house keeper for this situation (that's what the 2 stars are for). For the price of the Marriot compared to the Pear Tree, the Pear Tree offered A LOT more amenities. Pear tree had a full breakfast bar free, free snacks in the afternoon as well as free soda all day. We also had a microwave at the Pear Tree, all for half the price!!
It seems the Marriot has put all their money towards making the hotel "look nice" and forgot about the customer and what makes them come back....
Terrible service. Our bathroom wasn't clean when we got there. There was a used bar soap in our shower. Also, the dirty linen is left out in the hallways blocking the way. I've seen the housekeepers flirting with each other and with guests instead of doing their job. Not coming back.
Rooms were clean, pool could use some work, but all in all a nice up scale business hotel.
Home of "Shed, the shoe Dr.". Very nice place with an elegant, yet cozy feel.
The rooms were clean and updated. This was a short stay, so I didn't really use the facilities. The pool looked nice from our room window. It was a short, but pleasant stay.
People book Marriot for two reasons: Lounge Access and to keep the BonVoy Status, would recommend booking Renaissance which is half a mile away which is also a Marriot Property.
Better Lounge, Amazing Restaurant and vibe at Renaissance.
Better lotion, soap, shampoo and conditioner too.
This Marriot is overly priced, this is apt only for business travellers who are just used to staying at the Marriott.
I have stayed at these two hotels multiple times.
Very solid Marriott. I believe currently in the midst of room renovations breathing new life into the property. Very easy to get to and from STL as shuttles run constantly and are prompt. Breakfast buffet is excellent with an omelette station. Great place to stay on business!
Had a great rate so we stayed here instead of camping in the rain. The room was strangely dusty but everything else was great.
Restaurant was nice and service was good, staff was extremely pleasant. The room was clean although the bathroom was very small.
Great location for business traveler but bathrooms are too small. I stayed here for only 1 night and got in late so my only experience is based on the room and breakfast. Short and sweet summary. The Room - I stayed in the West tower on the 8th floor in what I was told was a renovated room. It certainly was modern but nothing fancy. Lots of outlets (big plus), comfy bed and a decent size. However, the bathroom was far too small. You could nearly turn on the shower and the sink from the toilet. They should have expanded the bathroom and shrunk the room a bit. My colleague had the same problem. The Food - It was very good. I had the buffet in the morning. There was a chef making omelettes, the fruit was fresh and the server was prompt. Would I stay here again? Sure, but not if I have someone with me. That bathroom was too small.
My stay was nice. They had paid parking and I didn't have to pay. Cause of mistake they made is why.
I usually don't repost reviews at the hotels I stay at, because for the most part they all follow the same protocol and have the standards you should expect. However, this Marriott I will probably not stay at again. I have to echo the reviews that my room wasn't clean enough. Upon walking in , I noticed crumbs and debris that hadn't been vacuumed. The vanity mirror had smudges and streaks. Table surfaces still had specs of debris sitting on top. Now one can overlook these things, but this is a Marriott and not a roadside motel in the middle of nowhere. Other little details, the nightstand clock had the wrong time, the closet was missing a plastic laundry bag, the ironing board cover was ripped apart by someone before me, and so I had to use a towel (of which there was only 1 bath towel in my room) to iron on. And finally, the supposed work everywhere mobile key does not work on the parking gates or the elevator. You'll have to continue using the plastic key card. No big deal, but don't have technology out if it doesn't work 100%.
Mask use was not enforced at this hotel, a big disappointment. We're in a pandemic whether you believe in viruses or not. Some guests walked around without one on, without any concern. Gross.
Clean room, friendly staff, shuttle driver, Joeseph was awesome
Older hotel, needs some overhauling. Thin walls. Loud noise when adjoining room showers. Not just one room has this problem.
Family oriented the pool was great everybody very friendly
For an airport hotel it was ok, the rooms were a bit dated and some of the linens had holes in them from being washed too many times but at least they were clean? The shuttle to and from the terminal was a big plus.
Stayed in older tower next to elevator. Thin walls could hear elevator and water lines pretty much constantly. No free coffee.
Decently priced for being an "airport hotel" restaurant bar staff is pretty cool and knowledgeable. Bartender there was gorgeous lol
Attended the MAMA event hosted here and thought very highly of the proceedings
Horrible wait service. I get they were busy but we ordered food and it took and hour and a half to get food for 4 people. The next day I ordered a drink through room service and it took an hour for them to come to my room to tell me they ran out of strawberries. When I 1st checked in the bathroom sink had hair in it and the toilet was disgusting.
Room was quite small for the price. As a Marriott's silver elite member which entitled me to internet for no charge since they do charge at this location, they did not give it to me, they said i would have to pay and my membership didn't matter. It was a negative experience.
I also understand what others are saying that it isn't family friendly. The only thing i liked was that there was a starbucks inside the hotel when you first enter.
Staff took great care of us even though we were just passing through!
Beautiful place, food was great and staff was very pleasant.
The front desk help is superior. The restraunt food is poor at best and the service was worse. Very surprised by the poor quality of the food and service in restaurant. Marriott's usually take extreme pride in there restaurants.
Great hotel! Comfortable beds, extremely friendly staff, especially Marvin, at the front desk! Food was good, rooms were clean, very close to the airport too!
Very nice a few issues but I still give it 2 thumbs up
Good business hotel close to St Louis airport. They offer airport shuttles. Food quality is not great
I would give a 5-Star but desk clerk was not as helpful as needed with our reservation. There was lots of college teams in town so it was a bit noisy at night.
The most terrible expierence. No running water in our "Superior high floor room". Dirty rooms. Filthy pool area. Dont bother looking for a towel, you wont find one. Super outdated bathrooms. Extreamly deceptive staff. The list goes on. Got a "we dont give a crap" email as a result of taking the time to complete their survey. Poor leadership throughout the hotel. Slap in the face. Just go to any one of the others nearby and save yourself the aggervation. Wish I would have read these reviews prior to visit.
Lobby and lounge are great! Rooms are a bit outdated but still comfortable.
Front counter gave me a great price for the night and very nice people.
I was there for a dance convention. It was clean and the staff was polite.
