Was here for work. Very professional staff and great service.
Was here for work. Very professional staff and great service.
Very nice hotel! Active bars. Nice rooms. Great gym!
This place was great they upgraded liberam that we had and allowed us to check out later than we had originally have been told we would be able to check out by .
he Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square
Just went in for the Christmas decorations. Very nice setup, but wish they had a ramp in the front entrance for strollers.
Hotel is ok, but rooms are a bit small and there are not enough vegetables for the breakfast.
The rooms are lovely but the bathroom is a little dirty /gross
Beautiful hotel. Room was great. Walls were a little thin however and not noise insulating
I personally had an issue due to getting bit by something in their hotel, they said it wasn't bed bugs but it was definitely something. My arm was swollen and eye. They were notified and said the room was inspected. I do believe they took care of it but me personally, I don't have to stay there again but its in a prime location to the downtown area. I will consider it again in the far future.
Great Hotel great accommodations only problem rollaway bed cost $25
In the center of San Francisco. Historic and charming hotel. Rooms at the height of the name's fame. I'll come back.
Like the atmosphere, history, and location. Didn't care for the check in line that took 30 min or the fact that no one smiles here or welcomes you. Maybe it's a regional thing.
Awesome location! It's an older building that has been renovated where it matters. I was impressed with the hotel staff whom accommodated my requests for late check out.
The hotel is located in front of the Union Square and is often regarded as old, but has a very good management and antique feel.
I'm not sure of the rooms, but this is a few of the four star hotels nearby. Mostly 3 stars around.
Good for shopping and sightseeing.
Amazing location, good price. Staff friendly. The bed was suuuper confortable
Great staff. Friendly. Awesome location in Union Square. Clean rooms!
It is a very good, complete and very elegant hotel.
Nicely remodeled room with great service. Depending on room location has some beautiful city views. Located right in the heart of some of the best upscale shopping in the City with dozens of great restaurants within a few blocks.
Great location and view, rooms are very comfortable. Very good customer service!!
Catering provided for the event I want to do was surprisingly good. The appetizers, the main course and the hors d'oeuvres we're all much better than I would typically expect from a large hotel serving a thousand plus people. The space is your standard upscale hotel conference space.
Interesting architecture that permeates from the exterior into the rooms. While the vintage look is charming, there are notable bits where is simply broken down, though. Staff is personal, clientele is a bit pretentious. Location can't be beat.
What a beautiful hotel and lovely event venue! So close to Union Square parking, too!
Great location, close to many bars and restuarants. The parking here though is crazy, 70 dollars a night!
It was nice but we could hear the people in the room next to us
It was alright but I like Intercontinental Hotel more.
Perfect location. Comfortable beds. Easy check in. They ll also keep your bags if your flight is not till later in the day.
I was surprised. The concierge told me that they do not have a fancy restaurant. No M Club lounge either.
Great place to stay right in the heart of downtown San Francisco.
Probably one of the elegant hotels I've stayed at my wife and i were impressed
Attended a conference here, loved the ambience of an updated but historic San Francisco hotel. Check out the view from the 32nd floor. One point off for charging for WiFi access.
View not so great. Small room, bar is packed and overpriced.
The best hotel. Great location . Very clean . Rooms are very nice . Newly renovated very chic. The staff are amazing . I loved it . Will stay there again.
Beautiful hotel. We couldn't have chosen better for our honeymoon ...
Nice hotel, have stayed here before. This time I was there for a meeting. The catering was great.
just went in to use the restroom. there was a keycard but it was actually not needed.
Very nice hotel. Grand lobby, clean rooms with comfortable beds and Starbucks coffee in the room. Rooms are a bit small but that's typical for San Francisco. I prefer staying closer to the water down in the financial district, but the hotel's Union square location is still good.
Very nice, elegant hotel near a number of restaurants and stores.
My husband and I have never stayed at the Westin prior to 4/7/18. After a long travel and exhausting traffic, we were greeted by an amazing valet staff. After a few minutes of waiting to check in, we were taken care of by a front desk associate named Luis. This gentleman took care of us beyond means! We travel all the time and have never had customer service like Luis gave us. Being newly weds, he made sure that we were Accomafated. I highly recommend this hotel to anytime visiting San Frabsico. Such an amazing staff and I give this hotel an 5 star rating. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel in the future.
A special Thank You to Luis for taking care of us.
Sincerely,
Michaela Sotelo
At the Clock Bar for a drink, had a wonderful time with the bartenders. Hotel was very respectful and attentive.
Front desk staff excellent. Nice room , comfortable with amenities.
This place is a classic from the TV show Hotel. Great location for getting around the citrus with plenty of choices for food and entertainment within walking distance.
I love this place I miss you guys! I left my heart in San Francisco!
NICE ROOMS, NICE VIEW, COMFORTABLE BED, VIEW FROM ROOM WAS NICE. SERVICE IS GREAT. PARKING IS SEPARATE FROM HOTEL... OVER NIGHT PARKING IS 77.00 A DAY.
Small rooms but comfortable. Fridge does not keep things cold. Bed is comfortable. Beautiful interior showing some of the architecture from 1904 era along with some of the modern conveniences.
Nice for work - close to downtown and good views. Decent rooms.
It is very old, and the room is very narrow. The bathrooms are of average size. The maid did not take the slippers and bathrobes in the room, so I asked for it separately. Traffic is convenient.
One of my favorite hotels in San Fran Great lobby . Great service and nice clean rooms all the time. I would give 5 stars but it seems like it's the streets walkers working girls favorite destination. They keep hovering around the hotel non stop From 11pm till 4am you might think it's Mecca.
Best trip ive ever been on. Only here for a weekend but my wife was in love. And that in turn turned out good for me.
The rooms are spacious and clean. Expect to pay $9+ for a coffee at the on-site coffee bar. Vallet parking only and it's $76 per night but they do have in and out privelages - with tips that gets to be $100 quick. The staff was friendly enough. All in all I would stay again. Bring water / beverages - no on-site vending except ice.
The best Manhattan in town! Try if you are a fun of this old classic
Lovely hotel, historic building, prices can be unreasonable.
Love the hotel , for meetings and sessions. We're distributing flowers outside today. The space is spacious and elaborate, had a coffee shop, multiple ball rooms and meeting rooms for board meetings, great staff and water and pens at every meeting room. Wouldn't change a thing.
Food, atmosphere and cocktails are great! The service is slow and inattentive.
Went to have drinks at Clock Bar. For a place that bills itself as a cocktail bar, the menu is very limited and the drinks themselves were ho-hum.
Excellent bar by comparison to most hotel bars, but no reason to visit from outside the hotel.
friendly staff, room was larger than expected which is great. And we were able to check in 2 hours early! Clock bar was cozy and drinks were tasty! Bartenders were fun, too!
I got no service whatsoever when I walked in. The strike really made me feel unwelcomed.
Construction noise starting at 6 AM, booked a King but got a Queen, tiny room (Landmark building), malfunctioning shower
Spent NYE here; the hotel hosted a fantastic party. Our only complaint was the lack of options for getting food on premises at certain hours. Thankfully there were plenty of places to eat nearby.
We booked 4 nights in Westin because of the location and the price was not cheaper but we thought it was in the reasonable range, just over $200 USD. however the first thing when we checked in, We were asked straight away about the upgrade, we were told the room we booked was small and not comfortable. But we decided not to upgrade the room. As we expecting an over $200 USD room should be reasonable ok.
The worst is we ended up with the fussy dark room, like the room you would have in th pub, perhaps even worst. We could hear the lift noise, next doors talking, wall banging at 7am. And on each side of hallway, there were thick layer of dust , disgusting . So we decided to check out the room in the morning, the reception was not surprised about us checking out, not even asking why. And there were another two people like us in the counter for the same reason asking for early check out / cancellation
I am a local resident, so l ve always wanted to stay here. Very friendly staff, overall, the property is clean, and well maintained. My room was very spacious on the 29th floor. I gave it a four because my room seemed a bit dated.
While most hotels provide free wifi the Westin does not. You will get nickel and dimed here for everything other hotels provide for free. Wifi is around $15.00.
It'll be AirBnB next time.
The Westin St. Francis is one of the more grandiose hotels in San Francisco. Historic, classic, extravagant, or elegant all describe the Westin. I have been here for New Years Eve, for networking events, dinner and have even stayed in the rooms. Every event I have been to here have been very well done in a great space. The rooms are nice albeit a bit small. The views, depending on where you room is, can be spectacular. I prefer facing Union Square. Overall a great hotel with great event spaces.
Very lovely hotel right in the center of the city. It makes getting around very easy. Access to restaurants, department stores, tourist site etc are only a short walk away. I was able to easily walk from my hotel to China town, Ciot tower and fisherman s wharf. You also have access to the trolley right on Powell street. Hotel staff are also very helpful and my stay overall was very comfortable.
