Great sound. Only been a couple times but always a good time.

Lit venue security and staff was nice deffinetly would go again

IBM used to host their anual Christmas parties here before moving to the Ren Center.

Recently saw Trevor Hall. Fun space - concessions are pricey and security is no joke.

Amazing venue for live music... they always have some of the best non-arena acts and all the upcoming openers and new breaking bands. Great sound, cool setup!

Waitstaff is smart mouthed and confrontational. Bouncers are racist against whites and are ready to pick a fight anytime there is more of them than of you, if not they will go looking for other racist bouncers to help them and come back to pick a fight minutes later. Why give your money to a hostile place? I would love to see them go out of business. BTW, don't use the filthy restrooms. Go to a nearby establishment or better yet, just avoid this shithole.

Good venue but security can be pushy and rude depending on the show. I would go again.

Seen a few shows there. Drove in from out of town to see bands I like. The venue is great and has great sound and very accommodating staff.

I like the venue, but the security is very bad. People were jumping the walls between the g.a and stage and security didn't do anything. A teen got thrown into a mosh pit (I've seen this band many times and there have never been mosh pits) and didn't do anything as the teen got injured. Very disappointing. 3 stars only because other concerts have not had that need for security, so I never noticed whether or not they were doing their job.

Very strange floor plan and they seem to have a tendency to oversell. I've been here a few times where it is difficult to enjoy the show because of how over-crowded it is.

Love a smaller venue. It makes the experience that much more personal!

Took my lady here for her first concert at St. Andrews Hall for ZZ Ward. She was very impressed with the venue bar and how clean the place was. Look forward to November 30th for Gary Numan. Thanks for a great experience. Also great job with the renovations and upgrades. It looks phenomenal!! :)

We saw Gwar recently and wow! St. Andrews hall has really come along way. The cleanest bathrooms! Friendly staff. Very nice and intament place to see a show!

The venue is small, no smoking other than in front with limited room(line to go smoke). Security are jerks and you can't even hit a little vape pen inside without them noticing and threatening to throw you out.

Fun place to see bands. Be on your toes, I've seen multiple fights between random patrons.

Peter Wolf best front man hands down. The sound was fanominal! Had a great time.

I have been to this place multiple times but tonight I took my son to see Foals. It was an amazing show made special by the way my son and I were treated by Nile who works there. He made the night and helped so much. My son had the best night ever.

Went to Saint Andrew s hall for We Came As Romans and the best part of my experience is how friendly and observant the security was mainly Nile because he took care of my nephew while people were being thrown at him and made sure he was safe all night.

I've loved this venue for years. Seen so many of my favorite bands here. Always look forward to going back. Staff and security are always friendly and care for the people coming in.

Great venue. Not in the nicest of areas but not terrible by any means. I think the Crofoot Ballroom is better than Saint Andrew's Hall, though, you really can't go wrong with either place. Nice, small, and intimate; perfect combination for live music, especially metalcore shows. Be warned, unlike the Ballroom, Saint Andrew's Hall's upstairs is smaller and for a premium fee (not included in ticket price), though there is seating up there if you need that.

Loved the venue a lot. It was cool to stand where a lot of famous artists started out. The parking vendors were all scamming on the prices just drove around for the cheaper one. Great downstairs and upstairs stages. The staff here is amazing and very helpful I felt dizzy and they got me water and even an orange juice to help me out. Great place I love going here and will go back for more amazing concerts

Cozy and niche place. Great atmosphere and amazing personalities. The people working there are super nice and the place is great for getting to know smaller lesser known bands from all over the world.

Yes it is a dive venue, but it is hands down my favorite in Detroit. Very intimate with the stage no matter where you are. With everyone packed in the crowd has no choice but to get into the music!

Great small venue with amazing sound and an upper balcony with seating for a slightly higher cost.

Kind of a weird place to see a show. If you go get the balcony seats.

There's only one bench to sit and it's along the back wall, the sound systems are always broken, but the staff are friendly.

Ruined me for life! Of all the venues I ve seen concerts at, St. Andy s is consistently the best.

My favorite venue. Loud, intimate, classic Detroit venue. I've seen dozens of rock concerts here over the last fifteen years, and always lose myself in the show.

Had great seats upstairs. Love the size rather than a huge arena. ZZ Ward - Great show!

The remodel is amazing!!! Looks beautiful upstairs!! Love the new VIP section. Staff was extremely kind and not the usual stuck up mentality.

Great music venue! Wonderful acoustics, beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing lights! The parking always leaves a lot to be desired simply because the lot attendant is rude and pushy I mean, come on dude, I know I'm ginna pay 15 bucks to park here, you don't have to be a creepy dick...

A great place to see a show. The acoustics are great and you can see the stage from every part of the room.

#jetlife 2009 tour was lit 02/20/19 . Shout out to the Owners and Staff, Security, Police etc you guys and gals did a Wonderful Job in protecting us, giving a clean safe environment to just enjoy the show. Go Detroit parking was cool to on the side of building. Meet and Greet was a success Thank You!!!!!!!!

After purchasing our tickets (for Bauhaus/Peter Murphy) we decided to upgrade to premium seating - a process that was quick and simple through email. When we arrived the line to get in moved very quickly and the staff outside was very courteous and respectful. Once inside we got our seating wristbands and were ushered up to the balcony area and given a mini tour by Dan, who was super friendly and helpful as this was our first time at St Andrew's. The entire venue has wonderful vintage architecture. It really is a beautiful sight to behold. The show was amazing. The sound was loud, but pristine. At brought earplugs but didn't need them. Major kudos to the sound techs and the great PA that the venue uses. The bar staff were great too. We were pleasantly surprised at how friendly all the staff are. Even while leaving we were told by several staffers to have a good night night, and were thanked for attending. That might not be a big deal to some, but it made a lasting impression on us. We would not hesitate to return for more shows!

Saw BBno$, it was an amazing experience, the shelter was definitely a hole in the wall but it has a lot of character.

Saw Don Broco at The Shelter, great show, well organized, and all the staff were super nice and on top of things!
