Beautiful boat with a lot of history. They have guides in Spanish. Tour of more than 2 hours with many historical and technical details of the ship and the life of the engineer who developed the ship.

An amazing attraction with some great displays, interactive content and informative guides. My two boys and I had a great few hours learning the historical significance of the SS Great Britain and the contributions of Brunel himself. A must see if you're in Bristol.

Really interesting day out with lots to see and a good coffee shop. Arriving by the ferry bus boat gives you a great view of the ship if you stay on until the boat turns around after its final stop.

Among with the bridge, this is probably the main attraction in Bristol. From the distance doesn't look like something worth the visit and we even think in skip it because of time constraints, but we didn't and what a surprise.

It has a museum, a dry deck and the ship interior. All of it is very well done and made with care. It absolutely worth it to visit it and listen to the history of this ship.

SS Great Britain is a wonderful piece of history. It's brilliant for adults and children to visit. The price to get in isn't too much, and you get free returns for a year! Which is really brilliant if you have little kids in rainy weather as you can just pop there for a few hours and they can run around the ship. Also a lovely cafe outside on the harbourside with lovely coffee and wonderful vegan cake options.

So much history. There are people in costume acting their parts. At certain times of the year there are activities for children. Rooms on the ship are done out for authenticity, also kitchen, dining room and steerage. Fantastic museum. This is truly a great visit. Buy a ticket and return as many times as you like for a year

Great place to visit. Excellently puts the exhibits into context and explains the history and preservation of the ship very well. The on-board sounds and smells really help to put you in a spot of history. Suitable for all ages. Facilities are good and transport to/from is good by ferry.

Really impressive! All reconstructions of the inside of the ship are so carefully and realistically crafted. All descriptions very informative and accurate. Really most interesting and enjoyable experience. The ticket allows entry for 1 year: i am definitely going to go back soon.

We had a wonderful day on-board having lunch in the saloon to celebrate my partners grandparents Blue Sapphire Wedding anniversary! It's a wonderful day out packed full of learning and interesting details in the surrounding museum exploring the great mind of Brunel and all of his fascinating achievements. There's plenty to do for all the family including the opportunity to scale the mast and absail back down. Plus you are right on Bristol Harbourside packed full of entertainment.

An excellent afternoon was spent here. There was much to see and do, both inside and outside of the ship. The story of how the ship was returned to its birthplace is most interesting. There's a rather good cafe next to the ship. Recommended.

What an amazing place! They have truly brought it back to life. Totally unexpected.... Absolutely worth a visit and give yourself at the very least 1.5 hours... Also don't forget to give in your car park ticket from the neighbouring car park for a partial refund. We did struggle to get a space but persevere!

Lots to see and do, well organised. Suitable for all ages. Going underneath the water was very interesting as was seeing the different levels of berths and cabins. Toilets and bathing facinating. Well worth a visit and your ticket is valid for many returns within the year.

The photo below is the enterence to the SS Great Britain. The ship has a wonderful history and shares the same designer as the Clifton Bridge, the designer being Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The ship was the largest longest passenger ship of its time. I believe it was also the one of the first iron built ships. There is a bit of a checkered history around the activities of the boat with many people believing it was used to bring slaves from Africa to England. The ship took only 4 years to build and it is truly impressive to see the detail in the construction. The ship builders of that time were more like artists rather than builders. Its strongly recommended to visit this ship and if you are preparing a visit to Bristol you really should read up on Isambard. His name appears in may places around the city and his designs are some of the most wonderful and daring of their time.

Great place to visit for both locals and tourists to Bristol. A step back in history to learn about Victorian ship making and of course the famous engineer Brunel himself. So much to see and do, you can easily spend a few hours at the museum.
