Super great money and historical value!!!Excellent attraction for families, very friendly and equipped for children of any age and mainly it's free returns for a year. An utter gem. :-)

Really fun and informative visit. Can't believe I've lived in and around Bristol for nearly 20 years and hadn't been before. Fully accessible with lifts and stairs throughout now, don't forget to get the kids scrubbing the deck! Layout of the ship is a little confusing so I'd ask for a couple of maps but the boarding pass game (kind of a treasure hunt) is great fun. Unfortunately that the boarding pass scanner computers didn't seem to be working well when we went (or maybe need a little more instruction?). Highly recommended and your ticket lasts a whole year too!

An interesting surprise! We were simply looking for things to do in the area so the decision to visit was a last minute thing, but well worth it! Fascinating, interactive visit through British history with the ship being its own museum. I would go back and pay that entrance fee all over again!

Excellent attraction, very hands on and the interaction with didn't areas of the ship was brilliant. The Victorians wrote hilarious as well, never bought a leech before... Still haven't but was a laugh

We came all the way from Australia to see it! Well worth the entrance fee - beautifully restored, a delightful floating museum with informed, attentive staff. Couldn't ask for more. My husband's great grandfather migrated to Australia on the Great Britain, and we found it moving to walk around on the very ship he made the voyage on.

I took my class here on a school trip. From start to finish we were welcomed by the friendly staff. Staff were engaging and happy to speak to the kids to tell them fascinating facts etc.
The picnic benches, although outside, were under cover and had some lovely big heat lamps to keep us warm while we ate. There was a cafe too which I popped into for a cake. All looked delicious!

My absolute favourite thing to do as a family - or not - in Bristol. The ship sweeps you away to the time when it was out sailing, with touch, smell, sound and much more. You can even see the engine working! Also, your ticket is valid for a year. I highly recommend this place, especially if you plan to bring kids.

Well worth a visit. The ship is fascinating especially the below waterline experience. Tickets are valid for 12 months representing excellent value for money. Parking is right next to the ship, P&D but you get a refund when you buy your ticket.

The price of admission can be a bit expensive when you do not know (we can not see anything from the outside) but the visit is well worth the detour, the museum is full of information of the time and the visit of the boat ( cabins, restaurant, kitchen, storage, etc.) accompanied by an audioguide (several languages including French) telling the story of life aboard this boat.

Historically fascinating. I was here in December 2018 and it was very quiet with hardly anyone around which was great for me. Very friendly staff. Has a gift shop with varieties of souvenirs. I was impressed with the interior but not overwhelmed, but enough to better understand its significance. Definitely a great place for kids and adults alike. One of the most memorable was when I left, there's a ferry that takes me to the other side, all part of the much needed services to explore SS Great Britain. Perfect day of exploring this site. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyable half-day out. Not a stuffy museum where kids (and big kids) aren't allowed to touch anything, you can pretty much go anywhere in and around the ship, including underneath it, nobody "tutting" at you or herding you from one place to another. Enthusiastic staff and volunteers, a relaxed and very well thought out experience and ticket works as an annual pass. Also in a nice, lively part of Bristol lots of boat trips etc from just outside the museum, there are places to sit and eat a packed lunch riverside or an excellent cafe on site. I wish more museums were like this

Nice compact ship for seeing the inner workings. A good experience for both kids and grown-ups overall. Informative experience but costs are a bit too much. Unless you are able to return all year around, can skip and take a few free tours on ships nearby. Ticket is the same as annual pass so makes sense for people living around Bristol.

Fantastic reenactment of life on board ship about 150 years ago. Sights sounds and smells! Kids love it. Great to have a piece of British history back in the place it was born. The museum is excellent too. Well worth the entry fee.
