Really enjoyable half-day out. Not a stuffy museum...

Really enjoyable half-day out. Not a stuffy museum where kids (and big kids) aren't allowed to touch anything, you can pretty much go anywhere in and around the ship, including underneath it, nobody "tutting" at you or herding you from one place to another. Enthusiastic staff and volunteers, a relaxed and very well thought out experience and ticket works as an annual pass. Also in a nice, lively part of Bristol lots of boat trips etc from just outside the museum, there are places to sit and eat a packed lunch riverside or an excellent cafe on site. I wish more museums were like this
