Very interesting and enjoyable visit. Friendly and engaged staff. Fascinating "journey" to follow. You can see both the inside and outside of the ship up close. Great exhibits and location. I have nothing negative to say about this place!

A fascinating and interesting tour around the ship. Plenty of detail so as to relive the voyages. Also as in the dry dock are able to see the propellers and the underside of the ship. A good gift shop is also there. Worth a visit.

It's really good that you pay once and can return for a year for free. The boat is interesting and the new being Brunel looks good the train is good fun foe smaller kids and they have a film though I didn't watch this!!

It is an old transatlantic ship that can be visited and inside it is set up as if it were a very beautiful time. I visited 2 times in 3 years and there are things that have been changed

The venue has so much to see, quite aside from the ship! The price is not too bad, and gives entry for a year. So much history, and so well presented. The ship is beautifully restored. Forward (near the front or sharp end!) below decks is an area that we assume will be restored, and you can see what they had to contend with, holes in the hull, decks gone, etc. Everything is well laid out, and marked. The bakery area even smells of bread! Well done!

Excellent display of very historical ship and those who sailed on her. Brunel was a genius as an engineer and must have a superb salesman to get this built at all. But as a first it also worked and was very serviceable

It's a glimpse to amazing Victorian era engineering.

My favourite museum I've been to so far. Though, this may be just because I have a soft spot for maritime history. But still, it's an amazing experience roaming on the decks of a proper ship. It's nothing like the modern vessels I've worked on nor small sailing boats.

A living museum that is worth the detour !! Clear explanation, beautiful scenery and total immersion (there are even the odors according to the parts of the boat crossed!). Keep your ticket if you want to make several passes.

A fantastic restoration with thoughtful interpretation panels...together with ancillary building this visit could take half a day to see everything. A real credit to the city of Bristol

We went to have breakfast at the cafe and were tempted in by a sparkly eyed Brunel. I have been twice before, once when I was about 9 when there wasn't a lot there and once when my daughter was about 9.
We were glad we had gone early as it became very hot by lunchtime when we left and the ship was filling up.
There is such a lot to do and we intend to go back with our year long ticket. Inside the ship is decked out with authentic interiors that give you a sense of how it would have been at the time.
The only thing I wasn't sure about was the circus performance which consisted of catching one of the crew in a net and bullying her in the context of a Victorian story. Not sure that was a good message for a mainly child audience.
Great day out.
