We went to have breakfast at the cafe and were tempted in by a sparkly eyed Brunel. I have been twice before, once when I was about 9 when there wasn't a lot there and once when my daughter was about 9.
We were glad we had gone early as it became very hot by lunchtime when we left and the ship was filling up.
There is such a lot to do and we intend to go back with our year long ticket. Inside the ship is decked out with authentic interiors that give you a sense of how it would have been at the time.
The only thing I wasn't sure about was the circus performance which consisted of catching one of the crew in a net and bullying her in the context of a Victorian story. Not sure that was a good message for a mainly child audience.
