I liked taking breakfast there but you should look for parking space and pay for it via meters

I love this place. It s my go to spot in the morning when I m in town for a Sabres game. Chill spot, good coffee and the folks working there have always been very nice.
Great little buzzing places on a Saturday morning. Pleasant staff with a range of customers. House coffee is good as well as the Moroccan Mint Green tea. We also had the giant cinnamon bun which was very filling. Not the best cinnamon bun I've ever had but was satisfying on this rainy morning. Morning Glory muffin needed a little more cinnamon and raisins but okay. This place has the best lunch, coffee and accommodating working atmosphere! When I go there- I always get pesto chicken panini! I can t get enough of it! This is my favorite spot in Buffalo! And the service is fast!
Cozy atmosphere, lots of seating, tasty and reasonably priced
Best coffee I've had at Spot recently nice atmosphere good service
VERY friendly staff. They have truly stepped up their cold brew game with the new (to me) Japanese-Style Iced Coffee. It's really well balanced! Lots of space and good ambiance here too.
Great coffee. Great customer service with a spacious coffee shop, what more can you ask for?
The food was really good. Coffee can be better but the environment was relaxing and the service was fast.
It was okay. The omelets my wife and I had were not awesome, more middle of the road. The place is really cool, though. Would be a great spot to hang out, drink coffee, and read a book.
Love the atmosphere. The food and coffee were great. Had the breakfast burrito it was huge!
Best coffee in town, and their sandwiches are hidden local gems.
Friendly staff and great coffee drinks
And good food
Great coffee nook, a bit pricey but amazing food and coffees/teas and decidedly eclectic decor and atmosphere
Walk in and enjoy the delightful aroma of coffee and breakfast food. Sip coffee sitting inside at tables or comfy sofas. Take your food to outside sidewalk tables with umbrellas. Check out their roasting room. Inside dining has interesting, trendy, eclectic atmosphere. Lots to see and enjoy!
Overpriced coffee that you can get from your local supermarket. $3.29 for a medium coffee.
Nice large coffee shop with a generous selection of food and drinks. Can get rather busy during lunch, might be best to get a seat early during that time.
Spacious coffee shop to chill and get work done. The Paninis are also amazing!
If your in a rush don't bother took over 39 minutes to get 2 breakfast wraps
Good food and fair prices. Espresso is a little bitter
Good coffee, friendly service, concurrently located, and relaxing atmosphere.
I was delightfully surprised that there was a vegetarian friendly menu - both filling and tasty - in addition to the great coffee.
Waited 25 minutes for a panini that was rushed after asking about it. Asked for a refund and was told the panini will come out quicker than a refund. Not going back.
My 1st experience. Ordered: 1. breakfast wrap ($5.45) and added sausage to it ($1.95), 2. toasted croissant, and 3. a pumpkin cookie. While waiting for the order, I'm told that they don't have any croissants available and if I would like something else instead (low key bait-n-switch), I opted for a refund. Get home, the cookie was lame and lacked flavor, didn't finish because of my disappointment (love anything pumpkin). If you like egg (only) wraps, you MIGHT find theirs acceptable. I didn't appreciate it the soggy bottom, but worst was the fact that there was barely any sausage, actually felt like there was more tomatoes added than sausage. I called to ask about it and was explained that they use ONE 2 oz. scoop of DICED sausage for the wrap which I found to be unacceptable for $1.95 extra. For $8, I would expect more than a soggy egg wrap (I could not taste any sausage!!!). I get it, there are many lame places in Buffalo that will offer a nice scenery for those that lounge/eat in, but unfortunately sacrifice good service and most importantly quality food. I just want to grab my food and go, how I would feel sitting at Spotty Coffee is of very, very little importance to me. I will not be going back to this place unless I'm given a gift card from someone. I will instead go across the street to Starbucks who offers better quality coffee, food and cookies/muffins. The only complaint I have with Starbucks is the pricing for certain things, but would gladly pay extra rather than go to Spotty Coffee again. Spotty Coffee = OVER RATED!!! But the decor is nice... I guess. I give it a 1.5 stars for the decor and the potential for the paninis, which I likely will never get to experience. Oh well, another lame spot in Buffalo (way too many).
Perfectly made Cortado and really patient and nice employees that know what they are doing.
Nice lil coffee joint coffee heads and shoulders better than Starbucks food good as well.
Comfortable place. The coffee isn't the greatest compared to some local places, but this doesn't feel like a chain. So they get five stars for atmosphere and quality, if not perfect food and drink.
Good selection of food & drinks. Never disappointed. I m a health care worker that makes home visits, and I always need a place to catch up on paperwork at the end of my day. I was happy to learn that spot had reopened. I appreciate that the staff is doing everything they can to keep the cafe clean during the pandemic. Thank you!
Ok looking for a great breakfast place....
you can stop looking you found it...
Their menu has not changed much and has neither improved or declined. I stick to a few selections such as black coffee, which not my preferred brew as it is a bit acidic but it is better than some other chains and a few of the new roasters. Unlike the new guys/gals in the area they stick to one roast however.
The staff was friendly and helpful to us first time customers. Gingerbread latte was amazing!!
Hands down, the best coffee place around. They always make an excellent latte and their chai is good. Try the buffalo chicken soup; it's the perfect warm food for a cold Buffalo day.
The only reason I decided to give this establishment two stars is because they did make a pretty good chai latte- however, while I was staying at the hotel across the street and happened to stop in before I traveled home, I was sorely dissatisfied with their food. I ordered a Belgian waffle with only butter and syrup, and it was obvious they had forgotten about my order by not only my wait time, but the quality of the waffle. It was soggy, the butter was melted inside the foil, and they didn't even give me silverware to eat it with. They didn't apologize for their mistake (the waffle had clearly sat for a while- I visibly saw condensation in the box) didn't offer compensation, essentially just swept it under the rug hoping that I wouldn't notice. If I were a buffalo resident I would make sure not to go here again!
Nicely roasted delicious coffee. Cookies are nice too. Excellent decor and good atmosphere with pleasant staff, well done!!!
What a beautiful place. Really too comfortable to leave. Drink coffee, watch the World go by, maybe do a little little work, or maybe just sit a while longer. Nice spot. Good spot.
This is a Buffalo only speciality coffee house/restaurant. It has some hop music, a chilled crowd, and some friendly locals are usually on staff. Good place to meet someone for a business dinner or to go with some friends for lunch.
Hip coffee joint in downtown, queer friendly, great place to stop at. Watch for traffic near the place, people do get hit.
Delicious food. Less than gracious hosts. It seemed like the cashier thought he was doing me a big favor by waiting on my family.
The atmosphere of this coffee shop reminds me of the coffee shop set on the Friends TV show. I ordered a hot caramel macchiato, chocolate chip cookie and a Mike's Sandwhich, all of which were amazing. The caramel macchiato was twice as good as my local Starbucks. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the downtown Buffalo area.
Very unenthusiastic young man at the register.
We ordered hot chocolate and it tasted like milk not hot chocolate. Disappointed.
Service was great, good atmosphere and great coffee!
I had a bagel and tea and both were delicious. The tea warned my hands as well as my belly and the bagel was both light and filling.
Spot Coffee has great coffee choices, good quick bites, and a relaxing atmosphere and all of the Spot Coffee locations are preferable to the big chain coffeehouses for all three of reasons.
I like the location, I like the coffee and the food is amazing! and the atmosphere is cool, the stuff is very friendy and professional
BUT, BUT they would rather hire people to clean the place! the living room inside is so dirty, yuck! so much dust under tables and sofas and furniture, its disgusting and repellent. Please keep it clean and it would be the best coffee to me.
Your average coffee shop. I stopped by for breakfast with my family. The coffee was great, as was the poppyseed muffin. I also had a breakfast wrap that was satisfying but wasn't anything extordinary. The atmosphere was great and the food came out at a reasonable time. If I'm ever through Buffalo again I would definitely stop in for a coffee and a muffin
I hated this place. I ordered 2 simple breakfast sandwhiches and it took an actual hour to come out. It was actually impressive with how long it took 2 cooks to make such a simple order, which they even messed up. Everyone around us was waiting an hour as well and were all very angry.
The food was decent but it's not very hard to make a simple bacon egg and cheese sandwhich.
2 random people next to us also said how bad their coffee was which made sense why everyone had Starbucks coffees.
I don't usually write reviews but I feel I need to save people from this place.
Nice cozy place Free wifi good coffee choices Nice staff
Good coffee and espresso based drinks. They have good food too, if slightly overpriced. Also a good selection of treats.
The chai latte wasn't spicy like a chai should be but instead was sweet. Don't get me wrong it was good and the froth was amazing with a bit of nutmeg added to the top. They also have a selection of teas for us non coffee drinkers. Food was good but can take a while. I felt the service was nice.
Nice homey feel with plenty of space to sit read and enjoy coffee
Coffee is great but the layout makes waiting for your order an awkward guessing game where you're always in someone's way. Great location and comfy seating make it a regular stop for young professionals looking to take 15 minutes to relax.
Nice coffee shop. Good selection of food and snacks and typical set of coffee options. Lots of seating in the shop which is nice and inviting. Staff is friendly. Prices are comparable to Starbucks across the street.
This place has great coffee and breakfast food items. The breakfast wrap with sausage or ham is my favorite. The caramel macchiato is amazing. They have improved on yelling out names audibly for food orders. As long as they keep hiring people who can yell names, they will be solid for years to come.
Came to the area for a short vacation and found this place for breakfast. AMAZING coffee and breakfast sweets. Tons of flavors for drinks and the pastries were incredible! Loved the location too - great for morning people watching.
Usually I really like this place but last time I went there and there were 2 people in front of me and it took 15 minutes to get my drink and I just ordered a black coffee
Oh man, a lot of memories here!!! Everything from HS memories to grown, adult ones... This place is great for a grab and go or sit down and chill. Plenty of room to sit at the counter, tables or even lounge chairs in the back with the right balance of light and shade so if it's morning or night then you're all set to go. Various flyers and adds to give you extra insight on the city and it's resources. The staff are always cool and friendly. Never too busy and no rush when you are trying to decide what to get. Great food, service and area to dine!!!
Only breakfast in town early weekend mornings. People were great. Good and coffee we're good too!
It was some good o me time i went to the spot to wait for my cuzens who just got home from out the bink i order me a Cajun tuna sandwish and chip service was great food done fast
Amazing! Loved the food and drinks. Very fresh and delicious
Have been unimpressed so far. Not many gluten free options and fruit smoothie didn't have anything special going on for almost $5. No fruit chunks or anything. Just a puree. I've only been there twice and it was late in the day, so I haven't tried the coffee yet. Feeling uninspired. I do like that they have some free books and board games.
Located in the busiest part of town, they keep up very well with all the customers.
I have popped in twice to The Spot, other than parking I like the place. Good atmosphere, good looking people, good food and pretty good coffee.
Great coffee. Great food. Could use a knowledgable and passionate store manager with vision, though.
It's a nice place with good ambiance and the staff members are friendly. Their coffee could improve if they use better coffee beans. The coffee wasn't that bad but not something I'd get every morning. There's a Starbucks across the street and a small coffee is about the same price as spot coffee. The latte and the Americano was pretty good.
I'd give it a 8/10
