Spot,

Spot,
Please take your plastic and paper cup waste more seriously. Back in the day, the baristas would ask if your order was for here or to go, and if it was to stay, your drink order came in glass or ceramic. These days, if you ask for ceramic, you still get paper, and it's double-cupped. Please make an effort to reduce your waste.

I love this place ... To me personally they have the best coffee in the area and a nice enviorment to relaxe and enjoy your beverage or food while you work, do artwork, browse the internet or spend time with some friends .... Whatever you want to do it is a great place to do it!

Convenient location for walking in the area. No associated parking lot so be wary of that. Good food and great pastries. I've had quite a few beverages from spot and my only tip is to stir a mixed beverage before drinking it (like I stir my caramel lattes because the baristas serve them in the originally poured state which is fine. It just caused me to think a bit less of the flavorings before I learned to stir it myself).

Came in early Thursday morning when it wasn't crowded at all. Got the cinco shake which was probably the best shake ever. Got some school work done while I was there as well. Very chic and hipster cafe.

Their menu has not changed much and has neither improved or declined. I stick to a few selections such as black coffee, which not my preferred brew as it is a bit acidic but it is better than some other chains and a few of the new roasters. Unlike the new guys/gals in the area they stick to one roast however.

OH this is the COOL SPOT COFFEE

OH this is the COOL SPOT COFFEE
So you are walking down Chipawwah or however you spell it and you get to this spot coffee on the corner. You walk in and the place is massive. A massive central barista and bar area in the center. Then there is this really quiet back room off to the right. You want to get work done? You having a busy one? I would recommend this Spot Coffee!

Coffee shop for those looking for alternatives to the regular cup of joe. Dairy free options and some gluten free options with their food. A bit more pricey than Tim Hortons but quality product. Remember. Sizes a tall=small, grande=medium and venti=large. Enjoy !!

A blustery Buffalo wind blew us into Spot Coffee on Tuesday night. So happy we landed there - the coffee is excellent and they offer a nice selection of legitimate herbal teas along with fruit smoothies & sodas for non-coffee drinkers. Their food selection is much better than Starbucks' (which sits right across the street). You get a freshly prepared sandwich with your choice of kettle chips or a side salad with the house vinaigrette, (which is my husband's favorite). The ambiance is relaxing, the service speedy (for made to order food), and the staff is friendly and efficient. Spot Coffee is all the things coffee shops ought to be and they're a western New York based business - BONUS!

Cool place with different options! Was super convenient for some healthy and light lunches. I love the berry salad with grilled chicken.. absolutely fresh and amazing! Coffee is just okay. Not great, not terrible.. would recommend more for a quick lunch spot than a coffee staple.

Great coffee but kitchen staff needs to get their act together. We were nearly finished with large coffees when our food was finally ready. No apology and half the order was wrong. Young man making coffee went in back to get correct order very politely and heard someone yelling at him to move his own business, does not live up to other locations!

Food awsome atmosphere great price not bad. The only thing I would say it needs is a manager who makes people work the 3 people working the counter seemed to be more interested in there own conversation and phones then getting orders out. I over looked this as the food was great.

Good food and good coffee - the latter is served too hot to drink for at least 5 or 10 minutes, which detracts from how good it is! Prices are high for what you get, but a good downtown option.

On a busy saturday night with all restaurants full or booked we resorted to having a sandwich here. A wide selection and very good. Informal lounge a la Starbucks setting - variety of sitting options. A local chain - four locations. We were downtown.

Really wanted to love this place. An independent coffee shop I. Buffalo. Gotta give them a try. Once inside on a Bills Sunday morning, the line was crazy long and not moving!. With Starbucks being across the street the temptation to move cafes was there but I stuck it out!

After about 10 minutes, I finally got to order. 2 drip coffee s and 2 eggs wraps.

After paying I proceeded to start waiting. The barista informed me that they were out of single origin coffee, and would I want the regular blend, or wait 5 minutes. I told her I was waiting for my sandwiches so I m happy to wait for a fresh pot.

5 minutes pass and my coffee is prepared. I add a splash of milk and continue to wait for my eggs. And wait some more. After about 1 more minutes I ask the lady who just called someone to pick up the order what s happening with my sandwich. She says whoops and pulls them out of the order she was just handing out! I guess if I didn t ask, someone would have gotten a couple of bonus sandwiches.

In fairness, both coffee and sandwich were delicious. Unfortunately, the process was not!
