A +++++ BREAKFAST BAGEL
( EGG CHESSE SAUSAGE THE BOMB )

Ok

It s not hip to always take forever for food.

It s not hip to always take forever for food.
57 minutes for two omelets has to be the longest wait for food in Buffalo.
It would almost go unnoticed if all the employees didn t roll their eyes at you.

I used to live right down the block from Five Points and go every Sunday morning. I don't make it as often anymore, but I do love it there. So, Five Points is a laid-back community-oriented bakery with a focus on sustainability. (For example, they offer a discount to anyone who walks or rides a bike to get there.)

Better than the Spot on Hertel on the basis of the ambience and the fact that there's unlimited Wifi and you don't have to go up to a barista every time your WiFi time limit runs out.

Dinner for 6. Drinks and dinners were hit and miss.
The pear martini and spiked lemonade were major misses. The white sangria and long island ice teas were spot on.
The specials list offered a Filet and Crab Risotto; the rice was NOT the creamy dreamy risotto that I expected. The only thing that made it better was the side of beurre blanc I requested. The biggest loser of the night, by far, was the Fried Chicken and "Waffles. Granted, it was not your Southern style C&W, and even if the waffle (actuallly made of mac and cheese) wasn't burnt black, it was unappetizing. This was sent back for another dish.
The best dishes were the Porchetta E Gnocchi; the Ravioli and Spring Vegetables; and, Scallops and Shrimp Bruciatto. One better than the next!!

Where to begin!?! Yuck!?! And I'm talking not only about the coffee but also the snotty staff. Overrated, overpriced, I'm definitely over this place. Don't waste your time or money. This place has changed for the worst.

The food here is not bad, but not really star-studded, either. Every time I get a sandwich or a wrap, I think to myself, "Huh. I could've made this for myself right at home." Today I had the breakfast wrap, and it really was just okay. Scrambled eggs (on the heavy side), provolone cheese, and salsa in a tortilla. I could only eat half because the eggs were just.. too much.

It's a 14 min walk from the Holiday Inn where I stayed. I have Celiac. This place is wonderful. They offered a gluten free cherry chocolate chip cake, which I ordered, along with an iced americano, and an omelette made to order with turkey, tomato, and avocado. The coffee was the smoothest I've ever had, the omelette fluffy and full and they subbed berries for the usual bread side. The cake not overly sweet, but it's dense, so I'll have some to eat later. A fun atmosphere, plenty of seating inside and out. A place worth checking out!

I love Spot Coffee. I met the local coffeehouse with a franchise reach in Rochester. Bought a lovely pizza. Brought it to a classical music concert, old music. The woman who sold me a ticket wanted a few slices. The doorman made me keep the boxed up pizza upon the rear pew. I finished it off at midnight as a late night snack.

So, forgive my whining. I thought the omelettes looked good. I made a snap decision because a big line of people were arriving. The cheese omelette cost around six; the western cost nine, a pretty good return on materials because I counted three slices of peppers and one chunk of ham. The toasted bagel, cinnamon raisin, outshone the omelette. I really regretted not just ordering pizza for brunch. Live and learn and wait for the lump in my stomach to digest.

If you are a hyper local coffeehouse, serving honey in packets just must be eschewed. Pick a local apiary or two and sell the honey by the bottle, serve it by ramiken. Smaller coffee houses assist the local honey industry that way. Bees fly miles to produce an ounce of honey. Most winds up thrown out with packaging. And we still might be consuming dumped honey from foreign countries, strained to remove identifying pollen. Honey stands with wine, beet juice, maple syrup as super foods. Let's promote honey, not demote honey.

I love that you are open to the street, which brings in the risk of unpaid customers. Having to ask for a code I can't remember just is a drag. At least put out hand sanitizer so I can wash my hands without ado after breakfast and before the paper.

1. Convo Shake Is Amazing

2. They have actual breakfast. You can get an omelette or breakfast sandwich.

3. I usually go to Starbucks because they are convenient. I prefer their mobile app and the ability to order ahead. But if Spot Coffee had that option I would definitely go there more often.

4. The staff are always in a great mood whether you go early in the morning or right before they close.

5. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Its a great location right downtown. They also have all the literature and flyers available for local entertainment.

Overall: definitely a great place to go for coffee, tea, food, or just ppl watching.

This is a great spot to grab coffee or breakfast if you're in downtown Buffalo. Better vibe than Starbucks across the street and more expansive menu. Always have new roasts, which any coffee enthusiast can appreciate. A good people watching spot too, if you're into that.

This one is always quite busy during the week as it serves a large swath of business men and women. It's a bit of an odd layout from your typical coffeeshop, with what looks like a traditional U Shaped bar as the main counter.

Came in on a Saturday morning. I ordered an omelette and my wife ordered a waffle with a side of sausage. The omelette was slightly overcooked but otherwise passable. The wheat toast was spicy and appears to be made in house. However, they forgot to make my wife's waffle and when I reminded them after waiting 30 minutes, they made one quickly which was under-done and doughy. They also forgot the sausage. This is probably a better place to run in and get a coffee or pastry than it is to eat hot breakfast.

This place has great coffee and breakfast food items. The breakfast wrap with sausage or ham is my favorite. The caramel macchiato is amazing. They have improved on yelling out names audibly for food orders. As long as they keep hiring people who can yell names, they will be solid for years to come.

Good selection of food & drinks. Never disappointed. I m a health care worker that makes home visits, and I always need a place to catch up on paperwork at the end of my day. I was happy to learn that spot had reopened. I appreciate that the staff is doing everything they can to keep the cafe clean during the pandemic. Thank you!
