This company has a monopoly on the utilities at Sycamore Park, and without competition they run their business like they re still in the 1900s.

Their customer service hours are highly limited, and they don t keep their word but they ll record you in their office and then say I didn t say it would be tomorrow I said it COULD be tomorrow, but legally we have 5 days.

They have us over a barrel because we don t have a choice for who to use.

They don t have auto pay options, and you have to walk into their office with a dang check in order to start service. Their office is 20 mins away from the area they service.

They don t communicate water outages, etc. Normal companies have the option to opt-in to text messages that automatically inform residents of changes. It would be easier than easy for this company to do that, but they don t.



Somehow, unbelievable though it is, privatized water is worse than city of Tucson water.

But we don t have a choice, because there s no competition.

Everything about the company is archaic and inefficient. You can't even setup/disconnect service or pay your initial deposit online, printed application, a check and snail mail only. It'll be a week MINIMUM to start services from the time you call. 4-6 week wait to "process" your disconnection and return your deposit. Their convoluted website looks and functions as if it were designed in 1995 by a 5th grader. Add in that they're a 3rd party broker/conglomerate for a bunch of old and small utility companies, and it's a disaster all the way around. They're 20+ years behind the times in every aspect.

Management company would not take the time to endo...

Management company would not take the time to endorse my check and make it payable to Los Cerros water company and make the deposit. They decided to return my check without an explanation and then threaten to cut my water off. I plan to file a complaint with the Arizona C C.

Terrible customer service. They charge you almost ...

Terrible customer service. They charge you almost $30 per month for a water reading, even if no water is used. They retroactively charge if you try to pause your account in any way. Their employees admit it is a terrible policy, and there is zero communication allowed with management. I was told that there are no other companies that provide water to my area, so I could deal with it and pay or I could go without water while I'm down there. Hands down the most unprofessional utility company I've ever worked with.

If I could give this company zero stars, believe me; I would. This company has the absolute worst customer service. I feel so sorry for anyone who wants to call because of a water emergency or billing issue. The billing issues are on them and they ll try to pin it on the customer. And when they recognize their mistake, don t expect an apology.

If your waterline is cut in your neighborhood, do not expect any sort of answer on when it will be repaired. They will tell you it s not their problem and they are not located in the state that your water company is, therefore they have no answers. They DO NOT CARE one ounce about their customers. Any company considering using them for water management, please do not. You are leaving your residents in the wrong hands with this awful company. If you have the pleasure of speaking with Connie, just know you will be told you re the problem time and time again and be prepared to be talked down to. Literally the worst customer service I ve had to deal with in years.

These folks operate like thugs, and treat customers horribly. They set prices willy-nilly and lie to people regularly. If you're here reading reviews, chances are, you have zero choice but to deal with them as there is zero "competition" in the world of utilities. So..yeah..pay 5 dollars "convenience" fee for the privilege of paying your bill...lucky you. And...of course..you know, this is just what it costs them to run a credit card...5 bucks a swipe....sure, whatever.

Horrible water company absolutely the worst I barely use any water, I go out of town for a month and don't even water the yard and my bill is high, ripping ppl off man, I am in a very low income and I don't shower but once a month to keep my bill down and it still is way to high.

Second month with this utility and I'm already get...

Second month with this utility and I'm already getting annoyed. I never received my First month Bill so I had to write an Email explaining that. One someone responded to me I realize that the due date was 3 days away.

My wife Mailed out a Money Order to the designated PO Box, but guess what?!?!? Just received a bill today saying I'm past due for my first month and now they want double the money....

It's July 15th. My money order was sent to YOUR PO Box on June 20.....Where's the money East Slope? I will be calling first thing Monday morning to figure out this mess, and if I have to take time out of my busy schedule just to drive to Tucson and settle this I will, but I will not be a happy camper.

As of now this company is trash, and all the reviews are fine examples of what you're going to get.

East Slope Water Company is the worst Utility Company I have ever had to deal with. I've had nothing but problem after problem with them. They also just out of the blue with no notification increase your water bill, $10. and $20 a month. at a time. My water bill used to be between $16. and $17. a month. Now it's over $40. plus dollars a month. I had two water cut off threats last year and both times it turned out to be their fault. One was they had 90 mailed bills returned to them, so they sent me a water cut off threat. Two they said they never received my USPS Money Order when in fact four months later they tried to cash it and found out that it had been canceled by the Post Office because I had to file to get my money back, which took two months. This was after I sent them a second Postal Money Order. There have been times when I receive my bill and the Past Due Date is the very next day. East Slope Water Company is the worst Utility Company ever.

I don t even want to give them one star. Chaparral water company has been nothing but a pain since living in my home. Half the days we don t even have any water or water pressure and then out of nowhere they are claiming we used over 100k gallons of water in a week. Call customer service and the stories are always changing and they claim we have a water leak. Absolutely no water leak on my yard but they are just trying to cover themselves and their techs. Absolutely ridiculous to do to someone and during a pandemic. Worst company ever.

TERRIBLE COMPANY. Sends bills out late and expects payment due date BEFORE I GET THE BILL!!! Get with the times and upgrade to some type of direct deposit or bill pay. They say they send out bills to 3rd. party biller???

How the hell then do you know when they are mailed if you are not the ones mailing them>>>

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents. They have been with this company for over 12 years and the service I received recently was awful. My parents are old and aren't tech savvy at all and depend on their paper bills which they then send payments via their banks bill pay. Suffice to say there was some errors and my parents were given misleading information and charged a ridiculous amount of fees. Office stated one thing when I called to verify payment to find out a month later they did the opposite. The worst part is that they have no say. Company doesn't even offer e-billing so that I can receive my parents bills and help them to avoid confusion of receiving their bill one month and not the next.

Had an incredibly positive experience with Patti Bayers, one of the Customer Service Representatives. Not only did she answer my request; before I asked, she forwarded the information the City of Tucson needed to reconcile my account. This is how customer service should work!! Thanks, Patti

I came in with a request to add a meter at the last minute for a client. instead of just giving me a flat out "no", Flo at the front desk really worked with me to find a solution to my problem. I appreciate her willingness to work with me in a difficult situation and ability to find solutions, not problems.

Paul is the worst...but is reflected in his associates. I was told by him laughing in my face telling me his job is to collect fees. I was receiving turn off notices every two weeks. Only to find out it was due to fees placed on my account because they put down my water had been turned off. My water had never been turned off. So, I talked with a lady who apologized said she would reverse the fees and a small balance of .12 cents would roll over to my next bill. That was Aug 14th. I received a turn off notice for the 9th of Sept so I was going to call to ask why but didn't have a chance because my water was turned off the 5th of Sept. When I called Paul he said if you want to speak to any one pay the fees. As he is laughing in my face. Saying you didn't pay its your fault. Once I paid the fees he still didn't turn service back on and refused to do anything. I asked for management he said no he had already spoken with them and they did not want to speak with me. He said his job is to assess fees and collect them. I said so you took the turn off fees off and told me not to worry so you could legitimately add the fees and collect them. Laughing he says yes that's my job. This has been reported the BBB and attorney general office and I urge others to do the same. He gets paid to rip people off and its unacceptable.

If I had the choice I would give them Zero Stars. Absolute worst customer service ever! They are very very rude. I was called a bad customer because I've been late a couple times due to life and struggles. No company should ever tell someone they are a bad customer. They need some serious changes.

It is the only company I have that I can not set an automatic payment using a bank account. Paying with a credit card cost $3. Also when they send the monthly bill they never include a return envelop. If one month late, this company will cut your water supply.

Service is well below average for the following re...

Service is well below average for the following reasons:
1. I have only received my first bill and my most recent bill. I have had to call in to ask for my other bills.

2.A When my water was shut-off, the manager that I talked to charged $50.00 to turn my water on the same day, when they following happened:
2.A.1 My water was turned off, and I was speaking to a manager within 15 minutes. by that time I was going to be charged $50.00 to turn on my water on the same date. The manager then explained that his service technician was already in the tucson area. After paying my full fine with the additional $50.00, within 3 minutes ( I kept track of this my self). My water was turned on, and the service technician was leaving my property. I thought that the service technician was in the Tucson area, which is about 15 to 20 minutes from our community??
2. The service representative could not provide an exact date when I would be receiving my bill. With other Utilities & Companies at my current address they are able to provide an exact date as to when I should be receiving my bill.
3. The online bill pay service charges a fee on top of your bill for paying online.
4. The deposit to start my service was the highest of all of my utility bills that required a deposit. This deposit was also the highest required deposit for the home that I owned in California.

The only reason they merit 1 star is for the friendly service that they provided when I initiated my service and for one freindly service representatives help in seeing what I had to pay for a month that I did not receive my bill.

This review only reflects my experience to its present date of 5 months, and I hope that improvements are made.

I have the misfortune of using Ray Water. These clowns play fast and loose. They don't know how to run a credit check, so I had to come up with a $100.00 deposit to establish service. No big deal for me, but that deposit has now magically disappeared from my account. Good little earner! Last month, I didn't get a bill. Yes, I know that doesn't absolve me from paying. But now my bill says I owe $5.00 interest on an unpaid balance of $22.07. 271% annual interest? Really? Clueless morons. I'm paying it just because I can't be bothered to argue with people of limited intellect, and, probably unlike them, I can afford it. If you find yourself as one of their customers, be sure and say hi to the guy that thinks he's Liza Minelli at the front desk! Because you have to appear personally at their sad little office to set up your account. And remember, they close for lunch! Strictly bush league company that would be broke in a month if they weren't a utility that has you by the short and curlies.

They couldn't wait 1 day for me to pay my water bill so they disconnected me. Paid the bill the next day and now its been 2 days and still no water. Called customer service and was told it would be back on by 3pm yesterday. Nothing happened. So called them back and was told it would be on by 7am today. Well its 10 am and no water. We have swamp coolers and my whole family and animals are miserable. Called customer service again and there response was we'll get to when we can.

I am only giving this a 1 because I do not have the option to give them a ZERO. I really hope that eventually we can bring a class-action law suit against this company. Beyond horrible.
FOLLOW UP: In the response from the owner they told me that they would reach out to better understand my grievance (which was spelled incorrectly). I was NEVER contacted by anyone representing this utility company. Maybe if the individual, who wrote that response, could spell grievance correctly, they may then understand the importance of listening to their customer's disappointment with their company. Oh the irony.

Since it's impossible to do less than Zero Stars, one is what they get. Complaint with the AZ Corp Commission coming soon, I have already Filed complaint with the BBB, the response:

"I'm sorry you've had trouble reaching the Southwestern Utility Management team to discuss your concerns.
A member of our team will be contacting you this morning.
Regards, Veronica"

Well as of yet I've not received a call from "veronica" but I have received another shut off notice, but no credits to my account for the fraudulent increase in rates, Late fees due to THEM not cashing checks. etc etc etc. This has got to be the worst company I've ever dealt with. Our neighborhood will be voting with our money and moving to a different management company ASAP. They shouldn't be running any utilities, Heck they shouldn't even have a license to run a hot dog stand.
