Good clean hotel and reasonable prices and a nice deal

Aesthetically pleasing , extremely clean , friendly staff. Nice roof top pool.

Beautiful hotel, clean and accommodating both from a logistical point of view and from that of reception, 10 marks for the breakfast service, while the buffet at dinner is not up to the expectations generated by the rest.

The rooms are good. Speedy room service. You can just call and ask for stuff or information that you need.
A pool is available on the top floor overseeing the skyline in the visible range. The location is good. If you take a room on the west side, you can avail a view overlooking the Lulu Island.
They did not have a buffet to prevent any complications during the pandemic. There are lots of desi and continental restaurants all around.

Went on steak fest and it was amazing. All you can eat and drink for $100. Food was great and the service was great. Definitely would recommend.

Old hotel. A tower over 20 floors but good location to visit Abu Dhabi

We arrived at around 1:25 am in reception.. the check in process is totally unprofessional.. Almost half of the day of the booking is already gone as it is almost 2:00 am already.. no flexibility at all, had spoken to Duty Manager Yacine when you are talking and asked for flexibility like same rate with free upgrade to one bedroom suite as the following day we will check out in the morning.. and half of the day is gone.. will only laugh like a child.. i believe he is not having a knowledge of sales and marketing.. a 1 day to offer a flexibility for a first timer guest of the hotel as to the booking wont be even a 24 hours at all.. had asked for at least breakfast nothing.. he shouldn t be in the reception to handle guest concerns to be able to win the situation by at least meeting half way to gain the both side benefit and concern

I would strongly suggest for flexibility as to the current market situation is concern

Second, when you be calling for Operator 20 rings would be lucky enough to have someone to answer your required service.

Ok. Certainly not bad but not overwhelming either.

Nice place. Location so-so. No info on or help with buses (bus stop on the doorstep?). Same for bicycles. Staff is friendly but not local, not very knowledgeable.

Food bit expensive. Empty minibar (shops nearby, not for beer etc though). Beers at the small pool where shisha smells dominate. Rooms are nice. Halls are windy.

Underrated hotel. Stayed for 5 days. Got tired of their breakfast menu. Room is clean. Its a nice hotel. Will come back if we have time.

Not satisfied at all!!! Not a family friendly hotel !! Has no ramp for a stroller so every time we had to go out me and my husband had to carry it!! Plus we asked for an extension for the check out because we had to feed the baby and we got charged 50 aed extra for 20 min delay! UNACCEPTABLE

So, we had a Mediterranean cruise, but we needed a place to stay for the night. This was cheap and looked very nice. The room was very good, looked luxurious. The hotel is conditioned very well, so you feel comfortable. Hemanta and all the other staff were very nice and helpful. There are other activities in the hotel too, like swimming or working out in the gym. The food was delicious. The location is good as well.

Great steak restaurant. Excellent Shisha and bar. The Man City bar suffers from poor smoke extraction and thus when busy your cry a lot through so much smoke. Generally a good little place. Parking and getting there is awkward.

We had an awesome time! Absolutely beautiful and the service was excellent!

Amazing hotel with spacious rooms however we only stayed one night: we should have stayed more!

2 stars only because of lack of empathy I have booked the staycation option which allow you a late checkout ubtil 4 pm its great so on my last day i went out came back around 15 45 my key room did not work so i had to queue in the reception to get my key updated i went back to my room to sort out my things and reception called me in a rude way forcing me to checkout ...you must know how to communicate with guests especially on you last day of checkout but i have to admit that the hotel is Amazing i probably considering staying again, i also recommend to management to make the whole hotel smoking free.

Fabulous! Modern and chic hotel offering guests great rooms, service and amenities. Very comfortable room and bed. Staff was warm and welcoming. Rooftop pool is lovely with a great view. Very close to tourist area. Joy, at the Foundry restaurant was very courteous and pleasant. So was Guru, at poolside. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of variety. Steam sauna! Thank you Southern Sun, the management and staff.

Filthy. Rooms are smelly. Level of cleanliness is way below any standards. Had a room full of spots and stains. Disgrace by any standards

Excellent stay here for two nights. Warm, friendly and helpful staff. Very large comfortable bed in a spacious light filled room at a reasonable rate. The pool area is great but a bit noisy due to the hotel air-conditioning motors .. not a problem though; we would definitely return here.

It is a nice hotel, professional Staff, dine in experience is good, tasty food.

I am a South African and worked in Abu Dhabi for 15 years and stayed in many Hotels here. My Breakfast and lunch parcels I received for Southern Sun is very bad and so is the dinner. Only two sandwiches and a small juice I get for lunch and breakfast is two small cake, an apple and small salad.

Great hotel, reasonably priced, exceptionally clean, great bar & restaurant area. Best buffet breakfast in town

It is amazing place to be, where you can enjoy the cool breeze and great sight seeing of those skyscraper.

Upper middle class hotel with the features you can expect. Large rooms, central location, very friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding Chef, therefor a visit at one of the restaurants or culinary events highly recommended.

The hotel is good, the restaurant is really average, only Indian food, good but not too much choice, breakfast, all reviews say it's top, it's not top top, just average, for those who like industrial pastries and fruits keep it I think that was the top.

Beautiful, comfortable, but room service leaves a bit to be desired. Breakfast, when paid the portion is a little expensive.

4 stars because the bath tube was not that clean as i expected and i even wrote this in my request,upon check in.i also did not get a sea view room how it said in the booking.overall the room was amazing,i loved the bath.breakfast is tasty.the sports bar was boring,good cocktails.try the mushroom cheez rolls while ur there

i book there two days and they wouldn't clean my room for two days also i keep on beg them to send me housekeeper to clean my room after two days ,
honestly this is very bad hotel with very bad services ,, even for food they are not allow you to order from outside restaurant , should you go down from your room to serve your self pick your food if you order from outdoor hotel , also i check the menu in this hotel to order a dinner , they offer you all strangers food,, i have very bad experience and i will never go there again even this is the last hotel in abu dhabi,,
i prefer to go paragon hotel in madinat zayed 3 star hotel have better service than this 4 star hotel ( southern sun abu dhabi )

The reception management is sometimes helpful and their treatment is classy and sometimes not, depending on the mood

Very fast check in process.. less than 2 minutes.. Room is super.. A lot of power outlets... Very clean and spacious room... Breakfast is very beariful and the resturant decoration is quite nice... Cheap room... and value of money is high....

A sumptuous, luxurious hotel at an affordable price. The food is excellent. Yet demanding, I find no fault at this hotel
