Lovedddddddd the rooms in here. The service was top notch! Rooms overlooked the corniche and had open bathtubs with beautiful modern interiors absolutepy beautiful for the price.

One hell of a hotel! Here you find luxury, fun; great food and hospitable staff!

The stay was good room is clean, staff are friendly, food is great.

We have been to Kahraman for their Sushi night. The place is so elegant and the service is impeccable. As usual, sushi tastes fresh and delicious. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The free underground parking is a great advantage, knowing how difficult it is to find a parking slot in this area.

This place is worth experiencing. Located in between the hustle and bustle of Abu Dhabi, but the moment you enter the roof top you just imbibe the feeling of tranquility. It's one peaceful place with some real good food and the icing is the ambiance. Very few hotels in the city have such great spots to hangout where you just forget everything and enjoy the cool breeze( the weather was quite supportive). A must try is the Fiery shrimps ( don't remember the exact name on the menu.. but the staff working there would understand what you are looking for when you call for shrimps.
Tip: Go for the cabanas as they are fabulously comfortable and the serenity of water flowing besides you just put one in a different world.

2 stars....why? It is a luxury hotel, ok.
Rooms are big, ok.
But some things are not at star level.
First, restaurant is not a quality one, on dinner you can find 3 kind of receipts, and not so good.
Concierges...mmmmmm.....needed a double room, not smoking, and had a marital bed Ina smoking room...no changes in the following days...
Room service and cleaning....
Mmmmmm....they put things in the right way, but cleaning...is not their strength.

Pool...mmmmmm....nicer in the picture than in reality...not so big, not so clean.

Used to book often in southern sun AD, yet I discovered that management doesn't respect their regulars, I had to cancel my booking the last time due to their irresponsible and unprofessional behaviour that doesn't meet top class hotels standards.

The bathroom is transparent !! I don't like it!!! We go as a family and each tow persons in a room and that's a problem how I can get inside!!

Best steak in Abu Dhabi, good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Bad Management Treatment Mr. mahmmoud the night shift manager treatment was sooo horrible we ve honorable guests which was not welcomed politely and this is very unprofessional since we have booked a suite

Good hotel with decent facilities in affordable price

The Southern Sun Hotel is a beautiful hotel with numerous different restaurants. We had great customer service when checking in a little early. They offer free valet parking in their underground parking garage. The morning breakfast buffet has a huge selection of breakfast items from a variety of different ethnicities.

Very Good Experience. Reasonable Price. Good Service Especially Reception Staffs and Room Service. Have four story Parking and Restaurent. In Abu Dhabi Corniche makes this hotel more suitable for tourists. Overall a Good Experience .

Nice hotel, good facilities, good location. The rooms are not bad but nothing special...and maintenance could/should be better, although staff are very kind and quickly responding to whatever the notice is.

My partner and I had a terrible experience on Christmas Eve of clear discrimination against her appearance and presentation as a young woman. We were denied a legitimate pre-booked stay behind a thin veil of vague legislative excuses, despite an official national decree validating her extended residency. Dismissive, condescending, and unsympathetic staff and management left an awful taste and soured the entire evening. A painful disgrace to a country that prides itself on tolerance, I would recommend avoiding stays at all costs unless you present wealthy and wear your very best suit.

Fusion of the original and modern. 1000 and one night high up. Good wines and nice cocktails. The sushi still has room to go up. Service very attentive and easy

Our home away from home. We stay in Ruwais about a 2hr drive from Abu Dhabi. We go to Abu Dhabi once a month and the Southern Sun is our favourite. Value for money, friendly staff, good food.

First time at Steak Fest...steaks have not even arrived yet....just the starters were phenomenal....and all on The Entertainer

Fantastic. from the first moment when we requested a twin room to the assistance from housekeeping when our little one was unwell everything here has been first class. a special mention to maqsood who was the manager when we checked in.

My favorite hotel in Abu Dhabi, personally I spend every weekend there, a good service and for rooms the quality is very good you will like it.

For sure one of the best hotels I have ever visited. Clean rooms and amazing breakfast. But mostly special thanks to the reception staff who were approachable and friendly all the time especially Mr Yazid who made my stay unforgettable

It is a coincidence to have arrived here because our flight from Khatmandu was delayed and we lost the connection. Then Ethiahd offered us a day at this hotel. Sure, after the hotels in Nepal this is wonderful. Everything very big, very new, very clean, incredible breakfast, very comfortable beds, impeccable bathrooms ...

The welcome was friendly and the check in was very smooth. Our room was spacious and modern, with a comfortable bed and free water, coffee and tea. Breakfast was included in the price and the selection was excellent. We also visited 1 of the restaurants for the Kahraman Sushi Evening. An excellent dinner with a wide choice of oriental dishes at a very reasonable price.

This hotels lobby r reception is like the one of a 5-star hotel. But there is a smoking smell all over the hotel and most of it rooms as it is considered a business hotel. So, I wont recommend it to decent families. The food is good for a 4-star hotel. The room service is also quick to respond. The staff are extremely friendly and tolerable.

Great place to stay in AD. More on the 5 star than 4. Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast that worth every penny, nice sports bar to enjoy good selection of beers and two more restaurants. The steak house was recommended by a local friend of mine but had no time to try so next time.

Stayed in the Presidential suite and loved the room. The food provided for lunch and dinner were good. I recommend this place for visits by others.

Great hotel and amenities. Wonderful housekeeping and pleasant concierge. Ideal for couples and professionals, good enough for small family. Good restaurants and food. Good WiFi, great location and taxis always available outside the hotel. Bus stop just outside.

Amazing hotel. Welcoming and nice staff. Bathrooms are transparent including shower boxes and bathtubs.
Very clean and tidy, nice decorations at the reception. One side of the hotel has a full sea view while the other 2 sides can see the sea partially.
Great facilities (gym, sauna, steam and swimming pool)
The breakfast is indescribable, large variety and so tasty. The coffee there is one of the best I've ever tasted.
The dinner is also amazing. You pay less than 100 dirhams for it including both cold and hot drinks. Salads, main courses and desserts are all tasty and well cooked.
The only cons I found is the need to repair shower box sealing for all rooms in the hetel I guess as water leaks outside. This is my 3rd staying in the hotel with the same problem.

The caustic rain is good. High grade interior. And a swimming pool

Smaller Rooms, unavailable toiletries, broken shower and Overused uncomfortable Mattress. Smaller windows with non-functional curtains.

The Hotel offers pretty smaller/uncomfortable rooms and ask for further payments to get a better one.

Despite the stars ratings they own, unlike all other 5 stars over there, they are much interested in money rather than the guest's comfort.

Very nice place to visit for food and staff are very nice to you.
