Good hotel, safe for families. I have never stayed here , so I don't know how the looms look like or how their service is. But I always visit the Blu Lounge pub here, which is a very nice place.

I used to like staying in this hotel before but from the last experience?! Imagine for the whole stay (oct-29-nov1) nobody changed the linens! Nobody replaced even the complimentary water, shampoo,etc! The first day they knocked I was sleeping! On Thursday I left the room early for a meeting and hoping when I come back the room was cleaned! To my surprise when I asked the receptionist it was still the same! I came from dubai back & forth and for sure I ll take a nap!! You would decide to clean by then?!! Really??! Checking out... I remembered her name was Sheena I WROTE something on the paper about my concerns and seriously she ignored it until I told her upon leaving!!! She just went on entertaining the foreigner about to check in! Courtesy to say to your guest Maam, you may sit for a while.... ?! Nothing! She just let me stand and wait beside the other guest!!! Not recommending you at all!!!!

Great place. Especially the south african themed barbecue on the rooftop.

Great hotel, centrally located. Staff very friendly and courteous. Rooms are a good size and the bed comfy. Food and drink is excellent as well.

Cold shower in morning is not my way to start the day. Reception could ve cared less. One night stay only.

Oh my goodness!! So BEAUTIFUL!! Contemporary style hotel! The food is out of this world, excellent service, friendly staff, luxury at its peak, fantastic experience i had there.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks,this hotel is very well located near Corniche beach,room very nice and clean ,the pool area which is located on 27 the floor is absolutely amazing and you can see some lovely view from the top .The hotel building is quite high and Have the lovely view to Corniche beach.All the Hotel staff very friendly and polite.If I will come back in Abu Dhabi for sure I will be back in this Hotel.And good value for money

Southern Sun is a regular home from home. The staff make the place what it is especially the guys in the Blu Sky Bar.
The rooms are contemporary, the beds comfortable and the menu choice is extensive and extremely tasty.
Would gladly recommend for a short stay but equally well positioned for a longer stay over.

The AC is bad , the curtains are cheap that sunlight can pass by the room which made me wake up and struggle sleepings . tv quality is trash . I dont recommend coming to this hotel unless you save money .

A clean and beautiful hotel .. its spacious rooms and its design is nice .. and the movement of the bathtub is sweet and handsome .. the only note they have is the late reception even though it is not crowded

They just cant give you good internet as they think they can save money that way

We are in this hotel because our airline was a delayed and we miss for our second flight to Berline (it's airline mistake). So, we have a no pay accomodation in Abu Dabi ;) hotel looks so great. There is a pool and customer service is on hight level.

The pool is fantastic! It's so relaxing with great areas to sit/lie in and the view is great as it's on the 27th floor. Theres a great restarurant/shisha place on floor M3 - very relaxing. I like the attention to detail around the hotel with the interior design and greenery around the pool. Sauna and steam are good. Room is comfortable with lots of daylight and an excellent bed. The bathroom arrangement is strange but it does have a bath and a shower. Staff are lovely, especially Guru at the pool. Recommended for business or short-break stays. If you are on holiday, a sea view room is ideal.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The breakfast was good, the staff were fantastic. I have no complaints about this hotel, one of the best hotels that I have stayed in.

Their staffs are great, their conference halls are sizable and cozy though not too large. The environment is just calm and welcoming.

They are still providing the hospitality as we know it

Had a pleasant stay at Southern sun Abudhabi for a week . What I liked the most is their luxurious rooms with carpet which resembles to the arab style and the lovely bath room with a cool bath tub although their shower handle was broken.
The Air conditioner was cooling all time and had a nice fragrance in room . The bed was very comfy to sleep in but there wasnt much view from room since there was no curtain and windows were closed with transparent screen .
The pool is quite big unlike other hotels and also the gym and the bar facilities . The only problem i encountered was the wifi and the range . It gets stuck sometimes
The most important thing to say is that they do have underground basement parking unlike other hotels where we have to park and walk under sun . This was the major reason I booked Southern Sun . The hotel is situated in the centre so there are couple of supermarkets and restaurants nearby . Another thing to add is the room service staffs coming for bed making . They are quick and fast cleaning and I was satisfied in that . Also they were very polite and respectful too .

The hotel rooms are really clean and well furnished,
And the basement parking is easy to access.

Service was not perfect as they was not allowing food come from outside or to be delivered by them .after long fight they deliver . Room was perfect.. laundry was really expensive..

Great place to stay. Very clean. Good food, very helpful, courteous hotel staff. The rooms are very spacious and well laid out. I wonder why the hotel is not a 5 star hotel. I recommend this hotel for everyone.

Good location as location. The rooms are very stylish and very spacious. . Staff concerned and friendly. Perfect cleaning. Parking is available and free of charge. .

In the evening we ate very well and everything was delicious. The view outside is beautiful, a beautiful skyline. A meal for two as family.

One of the nicest hotels in Abu Dhabi and its prices are very cheap and excellent for families ...

We booked this hotel because of the previous great reviews and especially because of its location. It s close to the highway which can take you east to Emirates palace, west to The louvre and south to the grand mosque and airport! The staff are really friendly and helpful. We checked in an hour early which wasn t a problem. Our room was very nice and spotless. AC worked well. The gym is big and has a couple of treadmills and other machines. There are free weights as well. The view is pretty good too! The rooftop pool is nice and they have cabanas up there too. The showers lack water pressure. All in all a very good experience. Taxis are always out front and they all know where the hotel is. Would stay again!

Pricey for what it offers. Not a great location either. Rooms clean and nice, but the design does not appeal to me.

For its cheap price and its obtaining of high quality standards in everything good and good
