Great venue with wonderful ambience, fab rooftop pool, really enjoyed the live music at night. Helpful staff.

Excellent. Stayed for 2 months in one of the mini apartment type rooms, including 2 weeks full quarantine. Far exceeded expectations.

Very nice hotel. Location is good, gps is driving you in a circle around the building but you'll eventually end up there. Price/quality was good. Front office manager was very professional and cooperative. Receptionist had to be reminded to give us an invoice/ receipt at check-out. Amazing breakfast! Lovely chefs at breakfast! Well organized and no crowds at the buffet. Live cooking station. Swimming pool is of a good size and has a great view over the city (27th floor). Room's design is great - open bathroom, shower and toilet in different rooms, bathtub had only a glass as separation from the bedroom and no door. Trendy design, though it is acceptable only for single occupancy, couples or couples with small children. Housekeeping is the weak spot of this hotel. Took them forever to bring simple items such as a shampoo and shower gel and at the end brought only one of each. The shampoo and shower gel weren't of good quality and you end up using more than the usual amount (both shower gel and shampoo were kept somewhere cold since they have turned into pieces of gel). Room service didn't follow simple requests such as removing a piece of cheddar and replacing it with mozzarella in a sandwich.
Overall good experience. Recommended for families and those that want to have a peaceful and relaxing experience - no noise from nowhere.

A very excellent hotel and I went back to Azure once again and arrived to Salami for the receptionist at the reception very respectable man.

We enjoyed the breakfast, rooms are big and comfy! Thank you for great service!

dear Southern Sun Hotel,

i would like to inform you that i did not like my stay at all, when i reach hotel at 4 PM thursday 12th March 2020, room was not available and i have to wait more 30 mins. reception answer was there is no delux smoking room available at this time although i have recieved confirmation mail from your side that my request is ok . i have to take twin bedroom or i have to pay for upgrade. then they give me room 1127 at 11th floor. there was a maintenance on going at 12 th floor and i call reception again 3 times cause i can not sleep and Miss Pula answer if i have complain i should write a comment in trip advisor.
really it was bad experience hoping this not repeated with another guests as this is not just your image its abu dhabi image

The place is nice but the lighting is a bit too dark.

Room are too big.. food too good and quickly serve always..Its always a solid destination tourist or local. Especially during the winter when they have the ice skating rink up and the decorations. It's one of the only places you'll ever be able to ice skate and see the sunset over the ocean

Amazing comfort, chic, elegant, excellent restaurants, beautiful rooftop pool. Highly recommended if you are in Abu Dhabi.

Room is big with good facilities. Breakfast is good enough. Free shuttle bus to different location.

This hotel is excellent! Very clean, very quiet and very comfortable. Service is also excellent - right from the front desk, concierge, room cleaning and buffet breakfast - we even had a breakfast box provided for our early morning departure. The only downside we felt was the location - we needed a taxi or the hotel shuttle to get anywhere.

I stayed a month at Southern Sun hotel and I can truly rate this hotel as excellent! Very pleasant and harmonious structure; always perfectly clean in every area. Impeccable room, tidied up and cleaned every day. Excellent breakfast full of various products also for those who prefer fresh and light things. Excellent impression of all the staff always very kind and helpful. I felt really comfortable as if I were at home and it was important for me because of the long stay for family reasons! Excellent quality / price ratio. I have been several times to Abu Dhabi, since my daughter lives there, and stayed in various quality hotels in the city but nobody gave me the pleasantness of the Southern Sun. Very nice and relaxing area on the 27th floor with swimming pool and bar always well stocked and efficient. I will strongly recommend the hotel to all my friends !!. We will happily return to this hotel whenever we are in Abu Dhabi both myself and all my family members. Tiziana Battaglini

Good hotel and clean but the room was very small not as we expected.

Good clean hotel in the heart of the city. Kaavya and Paula are very helpful and professional. The hotel is close to the Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi. Nice place to walk around with some good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Excellent place except for food varieties and pillows' comfort.

The hotel is good and somewhat comfortable, the restaurants are limited and the wines variety is more than the cuisine, its price is good

We went yesterday to have Brunch in The Foundry and we were assisted by Michelle and she gives a wonderful and awesome great service during our stay, food are so delicious and fantastic. It was such an unforgettable experience way of relaxing and unwinding in such a nice place. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating.

Stay here every time I'm in AD. Super friendly staff, rooms are very clean, everything works, they don't forget your requests and reservations, which is rare in the middle east :)))

I love the food... the ambiance of the place is very high end. The corridor and the rooms are clean. If you are a very private person, you might have a problem with the bathroom set.up because you can be seen inside... But Im fine with my body so I didnt mind. The pool is also nice, but I love the food the most...

I got this 4 star Hotel cheaper than some 3 star ones. Clean and comfy rooms. Angos burger is great try to order it room service yummy
