Everything we got was amazing. Lobster gnocchi was the best dish there and from my previous experiences, I don't even like gnocchi! Dress at least business casual

Very good but pricey. Good play to take.a date you want to impress
Great trouffle fries and halibut with lobster chunks . Perfect .
My husband and I wanted a date night out and Sorrelina did not disappoint. Our cocktails (grapefruit martini and Harry's Peaches) were phenomenal. Our wine suggestion was perfect and the lobster gnocchi and mushroom fettuccine were divine. Great place for a special occasion.
Visiting from England - this place was recommended by friends. Overall dining experience was excellent.
All Class
Arrived exactly on time but didn't find the welcome very welcoming. No other guests were in reception but after introducing ourselves we were just left standing there for several minutes. However from the time we were seated to the time we left we were captivated by this absolute jewel of a restaurant. The decor and atmosphere reminds me of movies...
Had a birthday dinner with my wife and family. Food was extremely good, went for sharing appetizers, mainly steaks for main and a fantastic dessert
This place was recommended by the Fairmont's bell. Antipasti and primi were very good, but when secondi arrived we had some feedback, which was quietly provided for the server. The vine list was extencive and disorganised, the. Hoices for the selection remained to be desired. It was a section for the Piedmonte vines, yes they are from Piedmonte, but from the valley...no altura being taken for consideration for $300 bottles. Well, in addition to this a group of gym clad people were severely injoying their pasta dishes at the next table shouting "its better what i cook"...i dont believe cirque du solei was in town that day.....Overall - meah.
What they do, they do well.
Unambitious menu. They should try harder
Excellent surprise to discover this incredible restaurant. Food is prepared and served impeccably. Atmosphere is sophisticated, as is the food. If I ever get back to Boston, I will not miss this restaurant.
Classic spot. Best Barolo wine list in the city. Perfect for date night of a foodie dinner.
Good service. Food good, but pricey. Atmosphere ok.
Food is perfect. Hoping to revisit and make a reservation next time.
Wow. Just fantastic. Veal meatballs are spectacular. A wonderful, upscale, "not Boston" experience.
This restaurant has been around for a while. I recently took friends from out of town and Sorellina did not let me down. The food was delicious and the wine paired with our meal on the suggestion of the waiter was perfect. If you are looking for a special meal, this is the place! This was a special occasion and we were recommended to go this restaurant by several friends of ours. The food was delicious, in line with the reputation, but the service was terrible, considering the upper-scale level of the restaurant
Superb food with a pleasant bar atmosphere. Extremely friendly bar servers. Definitely a never fail for a great meal spot
Food is really good here. A bit on the pricey side.
Relaxed atmosphere with quality food and knowledgeable staff.
Amazing food and waitstaff. Among the best in the city.
Wonderful food, wonderful place. Was on my way to a concert, went to the closest place to us, loved it
Sorellina is a such a great place to spend a special occasion. It's not overly pricey for a regular dinner, but I have only been here for special occasions. The wait staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. The cocktails are very good. The maccheroncelli (meatballs in a wine reduction) is tremendous. I've been here twice and both times I've gotten the veal saltimbocca, which is fantastic. I would definitely recommend spending a special occasion at Sorellina. The location is a bit strange, so do your research before hopping in an Uber.
One of the finest culinary experiences I've had the pleasure of enjoying. Everything, from the crudo to the veal, was cooked to absolute perfection. The flavors were intense, yet subtle, and the experience was amplified by a delightful atmosphere and impeccable service.
Restaurant has an upscale atmosphere but the food was horrible. My Cod was under cooked still, after requesting prevously they make sure its cooked through and the spaghetti needed more sauce.
Just simply an overated restaurant experience with boring out of the box/packaged food.
Fantastic meal. service and ambiance. Highly recommended.
The food is delicious and the service fabulous time
Probably. Correct that. Most assuredly the best dinning experience in Boston, for just about any occassion, including regular appearances which will likely become a reality. Food. Service. Ambiance. Location. Layout. Artwork. Everything. Period.
Amazing! Delicious. The prices are slightly above high, but it is certainly worth the quality. The pasta is perfectly al dente and the sauces are unbelievable. The service is excellent and decour makes it a wonderful place to spend the evening. The wine list is quality as well and I will certainly be back soon!
Food is terrific. Design is great. Staff is great. Our granddaughter is a Senior at BU and this has been part of our tradition twice or three times/year and it's always a treat. Between us all, we've eaten through the menu and everything is wonderful. Close your eyes and pick.....or just have them bring you dinner. You can't go wrong. Last night we ordered a flourless chocolate cake to celebrate graduation............spectacular.
Elegant, beautiful and classy but the best is the exceptional food. A burst of mouthwatering delight in every bite. Lobster gnocchi, chicken, and amazing bread was perfect to share on our mother daughter evening out.
exquisite! love this place. amazing wine list service and beautiful decor. Food was wonderful, and prices were not killers.
Please get some Italian olives for heaven's sake, with olive oil and proper bread. When asked for some, the waitress and mgmt looked at me like I'm from another world, which brings me to another point, very poor service. Not coming back!
The ambience was very nice! The gnocchi I got wasn t very good. I had to season it with pepper. The sauce was too salty.
One of if not the best restaurant in Boston. Be sure to order the lobster gnocchi. It is the best thing on the menu which is something to say because everything else is top rated too. The service is friendly and attentive. It is hard to get a reservation but you might go late to see if they can accommodate you. You don't want to miss this place.
Food and service at the Mistral was excellent if you stick with the basics. The restaurant decor was a mix of modern and old Boston and the mood lighting perfect for the setting. Tables were set reasonably apart to prevent conversation from other tables spilling over to our table. Service was prompt and the menu easy to decipher.
A preferred site for Italian food. next time i'll be back with my friends. the place has an awesome atmosphere. like a restaurant in washington i liked.
Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and amazing waite! Loved it completely!
Jeremy is perhaps one of the best bartenders I've ever hung out with. You should ask him about baseball too...
Stands out as possibly the best service in Boston coupled with absolutely incredible food.
What an excellent restaurant! I thoroughly enjoyed the meal here. I thought the service was fantastic, and I thought the food was on par with my high expectations. The appetizers were appropriately-sized and tasty. For the main dish, I got their signature house-made pasta dish. The ingredients were fresh and I wish I had more to take home! The dessert (homemade chocolate cake) was very enjoyable as well. The decor of the restaurant was outstanding. A very well done place that I definitely plan on coming back to during my next visit to Boston.
Atmosphere and service was excellent. Food was underseasoned and underwhelming.
Excellent service, knowledgeable staff. Food is excellent, great for special occasions
Excellent experience with kind and extremely attentive waiters cooking could've been better bu I am admittedly a nitpicker while my brother on the othet hand. who is a notorious picky eater was not only extremely satisfied but also asked to come again.
My family of 7 came to Sorellina for my graduation dinner. We read raving reviews and we were excited to try this place. Our server was wonderful, really a nice and accommodating guy. Overall the staff were very friendly. The food was good, but my husband did have an issue with his dish. There were several shell pieces in his dish. We informed the waiter and the manager came over to apologize. We weren t looking for a free meal by any means, but it would have been well respected to ask if he wanted another dish or to reduce the cost of a $50+ dish due to the lazy preparation. We were a little dissatisfied with that which is why I cannot give this place 4/5 stars. I had the salmon and that was tasty but the vegetables were not a good pair for the dinner. My aunt did have the meatballs for an appetizer and they were delicious and she said her steak was as well. So they do have a few very good dishes, but they have to work on improving their vegetable offerings and ultimately how they handle mishaps and lazy chefs in the kitchen. Something should be done to accommodate the guests. Like I said, not looking for anything free but some alteration would have been greatly appreciated and a nice gesture to make up for the mistake. Overall, our waiter was great, manager was just okay, and food is decent but pricy. We wouldn t return.
Everything was superb- food, service, wine. It was a balmy night and we ate outdoors. Highly recommended without reservations. Be prepared to pay for all the wonder of the experience.
Great spot for a date.
We got the carbonara and filet mignon medium rare bill was around 75, service was great, and would go back just for the filet.
The chocolate caramel filled balls we got at the end of the meal were hands down the best chocolate we've ever had.
Absolutely delicious and fresh food. Service was impeccable. No complaints here. Will come back.
A delightful experience. A restaurant where the details are kept and admired! Fresh oysters combine with some tartare, started my evening. The branzino cook with a hard crust of salt in the oven; with olive oil and lemon highly highly recommended. It takes 30 minutes and is worth it!! Impecable service to the last detail! Good job!!
Highly overrated, I work in the area and typically the people raving about Sorellina have only gone on a special occasion night or if they get a chance to go via restaurant week, either way its a popular money trap with flighty bartenders and aloof servers. Food quality is passable, wine list is excellent. Sorellina gets a few w point for great ambiance and location. The occasional difficulty in making a reservation ("demand") is what makes this place poplar. Great place to impress visitors, lacks any stand-out notes for a local out on the town such as myself.
We had an amazing time. The ambiance, the service, the flavors of every dish was worthy of a Michelin rating...do not be surprised by the check for this level of performance.
This place is one of thes best restaurants around the area. Excellent food & great attention.
Wonderful dinner as always , one of the best Milanese veil of Boston
Simply excellent. Each course will melt in your mouth, starting with the delicious bread and finishing with the chocolate truffles. We've dined here twice and haven't been disappointed with a single dish, whether it was an entree or a side dish. The wait staff is top notch and extremely attentive. The ambiance is near-perfect. I recommend the salmon, steaks, lobster gnocchi, along with any of their fresh pasta dishes. Even if you don't choose those, I doubt you will be disappointed.
Well done Sorellina!
Very high end italian food in an elegant setting. The gnocchi with lobster was exquisite. A bit pricey, but well worth it and the service was excellent as well. My guess is this restaurant is fail safe for a business dinner, date, or any occasion when you are looking to impress.
Very good food! Attentive and competent staff and amazing location.
I went for my friend's birthday on 28th Feb with a group of 15 people. Some of my friends shared a few dishes. We ordered the Orecchiette and the Gnocchi, thinking we ordered the Primi. When they came, they were both the same quantity. However, we were charged the Orecchiette as a Secondi. We didn't see it that day since it a was a big bill. But we called in the next day and they didn't do anything about it. It been 4 days and they have just been pushing it off. Such an expensive and classy place with such horrible customer service. I am very disappointed.
Quite possibly one of the area's best restaurants. They offer valet parking, too! Outstanding food, excellently prepared, tasty and somewhat unusual. Great bar and drink menu. All around, a special place for that special event. Oh, and it's quite pricey!
elegant italian restaurant with very good food and excellent service, wine list is extensive with some good values, appetizers and main dishes are very well done with fresh products and balance flavors, the pasta is fresh and cooked al dente, we highly recommend this restaurant
The service was impeccable! It's pricey but fine dinning done correctly.
Great atmosphere. Great wine. Average food and service. Wouldn't return.
Great place, awesome food, nice music, cool design, but pricey. I particularly liked the salmon tartare as appetizer and the glazed lemon polenta cake as desert.
Wonderful staff, great food. The only complaint is if I'm spending $200.00 or more on dinner I would like to be able to relax in-between courses. We were seated and finished with in one hour.
Best real Italian restaurant in Boston, the taste of the food is just unbelievable....
I will be back soon for moreeeee....
Favorite restaurant in Boston hands down. Lobster gnocchi could be the best dish of all time. The service, ambiance and quality of food is unmatched.
The food, the atmosphere, the staff, wine selection, everything is great! Delicious! The place was packed on Saturday night but you still get fast service and attention from the personnel. Great food, great place to have a delicious and filling dinner. Highly recommended.
Beautiful restaurant, great service, wonderful overall experience!
The atmosphere is upscale but the food quality/taste isn't worth the super-high prices. At these prices or lower you can get much better food in Boston.
Food was very good but the portions were very small.
An amazing place for a special dinner, in the heart of Boston.
The gnocchi is to die for. It s a lumps of lobster meat or a light buttery sauce. The arugula salad is good as well. Bartenders are extremely friendly. Ambiance is nice as well. Good place to sit at the bar if you re alone. The limo be dessert is so delicious. I m typically not as fan of fruity desserts but this one is amazing.
I loved the food here, one of the finest seafood i had. Liked the ambience, right from the time we got in, good collection of wine, helped us choose our order and when it came, wow! In short, lovely experience.
Went with my mom for dinner. Service was friendly, and the food was great. But for just the 2 of us it took over an hour to receive our food.
