Beautiful decorated with a pleasant atmosphere to talk during your meal. The first couses were very good. The pastas were great. The best dish of the night was the chocolate molten cake. The tiramisu left us disappointed.

This is a lovely, intimate restaurant tucked among the hotels surrounding Copley Square. Service is attentive and warm, tables are spaced well, and noise level is just right for fine dining. The food is excellent, some of the best I've had in Boston. Pastas are hand made and delicious, meats are well sourced and prepared beautifully. Desserts are innovative. Spirits selection is well curated, and drinks are well balanced. Only down mark would be the bar staff attitude. We started our evening with a cocktail at the bar, and most staff seemed distant and arrogant, and didn't match the warm welcoming attitude of the front and wait staff. While the restaurant was full during our meal, the bar seats were empty, and this was not surprising. Take note, Sorellina.

This is a wonderful seafood spot. Great wine list, superb service, and outstanding cuisine. The menu is always reliable and there is never an off night. It's a bit of an urban, sophisticated NY feel, but it's perfect for couples or eating at the bar. The fried oysters are insanely good, as is the salt-crusted bronzino and roasted lobster. Probably

Some of the best food I've had in Boston. Everything was cooked to perfection. The space is open but intimate and really nice. It's quite expensive but worth it. The bottles of wine we had were amazing and surprisingly not expensive. The oysters are really inventive and something I will order every time. The entrees are great. The serving staff is really nice and helpful as well.

We had a business meeting over dinner. Service was top notch. Ambiance was very elegant. The wine by the glass was superb. The food was well prepared and attractively presented. But not amazing to match with the price.

Being a fancy restaurant is not an excuse for bad overpriced food.

Pros
The restaurant was beautiful.
The service was amazing.

Cons
The food was terrible. My boyfriend and I ordered fettuccine pasta and for $40 a plate, it was a small amount, smelled like dirty dishwasher, and overall had little to no great taste.

The truffle fries were overcooked and soaked in oil.

The virgin drinks were tasteless and had little flavor.

Takeaways
I hate being harsh on restaurants but I do not want someone to have the experience I had. It was our anniversary and we really wanted to enjoy the food. My boyfriend was kind enough to bring me to the Cheesecake Factory after because unfortunately I left hungry, unsastified, and without a good night.

We were served by Cody who, honestly, made all the difference. The place is busy - people getting their happy hour on everywhere. Me, being a traveler, I tend to look outward. I want to see the local view. We were offered a table in a loud section which was fine. I had only some pretzels and a smallish lobstah roll and a couple of coke zeros to eat all day.

Sorellina Boston , Massachusetts 9/28/2017

Part of the Columbus Hospitality Group. I ve been to several of their restaurants. Each one is a little different. What remains consistent is unparalleled customer service. I could sit here for hours and just watch them do what they do.

For my first course this evening, the Polpo grilled octopus, squid ink cous cous, cherry peppers, finocchio The plating was something to behold It was like a work of art! The Octopus was perfect. I m also a huge fan of squid ink. This was the first time on cous cous, normally I have It on linguini Pasta.

And to my surprise, the Chef sent out the Mafaldine market exotic mushrooms, truffle butter, Pecorino Toscano. This is probably the most interesting Pasta I ve ever had. Long ornamental Pasta It really holds the sauce beautifully. And like everything thing the do, house made

My main course, the Halibut East Coast, romanesco cauliflower, lobster mushrooms, uni Crema Yet another masterpiece It looks so good, you almost feel guilty eating it I said almost! The thinly sliced cauliflower was the perfect touch with just the right amount of crunch.

Ordinary I would pass on dessert however knowing the caliber of what comes out of the kitchen, I selected the CIOCCOLATO Warm molten chocolate cake, vanilla bean gelato and my signature Cappuccino

What an amazing evening! The service, the cuisine, my server Kevin and everyone here made it truly memorable.

Best Italian food in Boston! The atmosphere is outstanding, as is the service - it is truly a beautiful room. The Macheroncini with Kobe meatballs is to die for, and both veal dishes are excellently prepared and presented.

It s ok not the big hype as posted by others....but this is my opinion. For the price I expected better quality and better prep. Overall....it s ok but not what you would expect from a fine dinning restaurant. This dish the POLPO, it was over cooked and tasteless @ 25$ for the dish not worth it....
