Attached to LHR terminal 5, you can get here from any terminal using the free interterminal Heathrow express. The hotel is large, quiet and clean. Makes a great location to head following or preceding a long flight.

Check-in went smoothly and reception staff were friendly and welcoming.
The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The TV selections were good too.
I had room service and it was prompt and satisfying and rightly priced.

Perfect from start to finish.

Perfect from start to finish.
From a smooth booking experience via the Accor site, the excellent correspondence with Mr Tristan Langlois who fulfilled all promises and the check in by Kenneth.
This is the second time we've used the Heathrow Sofitel and it won't be the last.
The service we've always received here has meant we've booked Sofitel on our August trip to Luxembourg.

The rooms are spacious, and surprisingly quiet! I could see parked planes, but never heard them. The bar was very nice, top shelf gins and tonic. Food was good, service was very helpful. Only surprise was the need for a cab to get to my terminal, and they helped with that as well.

I stayed here for one night and it was great. Nice service, very helpful staff. However I got confused where it located so wanna help u with that. if u are leaving T5 go the lift and go to level 2 its a car park but u need then to go to the right, walk for 3 minutes or so and then u will arrive at the hotel. The hotel is close to Terminal 5 Heathrow Airport
As you go out from the hall, take the elevator and go to the second floor and take an oath and walk for 4 minutes, and the hotel gets in front of you

I booked this hotel through expedia and paid the full amount. Unfortunately, I booked the Heathrow Airport location rather than the Gatwick Airport Location. I contacted Expedia and they informed me that although the cancellation policy indicated the hotel charge was non-refundable that they have never had a hotel refuse to waive the cancellation fee (the entire hotel stay). Two representatives from Expedia contacted the hotel and informed them of my mistake and even requested if I could transfer the booking to their Gatwick airport location. Sofitel London Heathrow refused to transfer the reservation or refund my money. Both representatives from Expedia were shocked and indicated they have never had this happen before.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was amazing. The bed was super comfortable! Everything was available in the room and it was very clean. I loved all the little details and extra items available in the room and bathroom. It was the perfect resting place for my transit. I was traveling first class, so I could have stayed at the Lounge, but I am glad I went to the hotel. Thank you very much. Will definitely visit again, and will also be telling others about my stay. Thanks

My wife & I were taking an early BA flight from LHR for a short vacation and chose the Sofitel primarily due to its location adjacent to T5.

I m a frequent guest at Accor hotels, primarily Novotels and Pullmans, and found the Sofitel somewhat out of the norm.

We had booked a Luxury King Bed Room with Club Millesime Lounge access.
On arrival (~17:00) Check-in seemed to be a complete zoo with people all over the foyer and no signage as to where check-in actually was or how to queue. Usually with Executive Lounge access, one can check-in in the quiet and calm of the Exec Lounge, however, Club Millesime is not geared up to do that, so first impressions were rather poor.

However, as a Gold Accor member, we were upgraded to a Prestige Suite a fantastic set of rooms with lots of personal space and facilities (e.g. a washroom & loo in addition to the full bathroom suite inc. walk-in shower). The rooms were very quiet despite the proximity to the airport (thanks to the quadruple glazing), the bed and pillows really comfortable and sleep quality excellent.

Club Millesime offers a great selection of light bites and drinks (in.c alcoholic) between 18:00 and 22:00 which is quite unusual (Exec Lounges normally have that from 18:00 to 20:00).

The price was high, but perhaps not unreasonable due to the unique location just 5-10 mins walk to BA Check-in.

Overall the experience was very good and I would stay there again in similar circumstances.

Room was fine but a few things disappointed. There were no power points by the bed. The bathroom door wouldn't close. And there were no biscuits by the kettle or snacks in the minibar. The view out of the window was drab. This was for an upgraded room too.

Inside Terminal 5 so if you have a flight in the morning it is very good. If you want to spend the day in London center the subway service is very good as well and inside terminal 5 as well so you do not need to worry abou anything .

It's a great hotel, but only if you're overnighting at LHR for another flight. It's like an hour away from the city, so not a great location to visit the tourost attractions in central London. The actual hotel is great, zero complaints about it intrinsically, the only issue was location.

Mostly what I would expect from a hotel of this standard, room comfortable and quiet, though unexceptional, and price - not particularly cheap, but then very convenient for Terminal 5, which, for me, was worth paying for.

The public spaces, however, had a very nice 'feel' to them, if one wanted to relax and read. The reception staff were excellent, in that they managed to avoid that horrible, scripted, big-chain corporate babble, which sets my teeth on edge. Instead, they were genuinely helpful, and spoke in plain English, especially the chap who seemed to be on hand for general help, in the reception area, whose name I didn't catch, unfortunately. These latter experiences earn Sofitel a 5* rating from me (and I NEVER hold back if I feel I haven't had value for money!).

Impressive Hotel in all areas ranging from check in at the reception, service and amenities in the rooms, bar and restaurants. Very relaxing both as stop over location and when setting off from Heathrow. Our favourite Hotel when flying from this airport regardless of which terminal we fly from. Also to stop before we drive home.

We were coming from Southampton for an early morning flight. Perfect access from and back to Terminal 5. Tearoom for lunch and 2 great restaurants to choose from, we had a fine evening meal. Room service is available, but we did not want to eat that early, and there was tea and a kettle in our room. The room was immaculate, good wifi and a perfect nights sleep before a transatlantic flight!

For the umpteenth time just the one night at this convenient hotel at terminal 5 Heathrow..Rooms are large, beds are clean and comfortable, bathrooms are large with fluffy towels and large bath and individual shower... About double the price of other Heathrow hotels but worth it. Only the hall carpet makes it hard for the wheels on the luggage.

The service was super friendly and courteous - as it should be between flights!
The delicacies were all fresh and tasty.

This has got to be the most complex layout and room naming option in the world. It takes 10 minutes for the elevator to arrive?
My room door stopped working and I had to take the 20 minute total trip in total to reception. Ridiculous to navigate. I passed several guests lost and confused.
I will say however that all staff I came into contact with were exemplary.
The hotel puts me in mind of a 1970's science fiction movie. Just because it is at the airport it shouldn't have to have the feel of brutalism and I don't just mean the architecture.
Horrible foreboding feeling.

Conveniently located within walking distance from Heathrow Terminal 5.
The reception staff was helpful and efficient.
I had higher expectations as far as the room was concerned, given the number of stars and reputation of the hotel.
I spotted some stains on the carpet and the bathtub could use a refresh.
No blow dryer or shower cap provided in the bathroom, which are usually complimentary at any hotel.
The bed was comfortable and the room felt cosy.
The breakfast was fine.
The waiters came to check on me on a regular basis and the Manager also came up to make sure everything was alright.
Much appreciated.
It's all in all perfect for business travellers.

I think this is my favorite hotel. Huge rooms, luxurious, and fast and friendly guess service. The best! Very convenient being literally attached to Terminal 5, though heads up that Terminals 1-4 can take 20+ min to get to.

Wow! British airways cancelled our flight and we had to stay here. Room was very nice and hotel staff was excellent. Breakfast was great with many choices. They have a tram that goes right from the hotel to center of London. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is good and is suitable for transit passengers, it is adjacent to the airport. Those who have some time can go to London and return by train directly from the airport. The hotel's problem is that it is very expensive for its uninterrupted location. The cost of transportation plus the cost of the hotel encourages the choice of better and better hotels in better areas.

Booked online and clicked the wrong day. Because it was the current day, I was unable to change the date. Had to spend an hour on the phone to change the date to the correct date. Ended up cancelling my trip and was billed anyway. An hour on the phone and I still ended up being charged for a refundable booking.

Hotel overall not bad. Bed was horrendous and the worst I have ever slept in... soft in places, rock hard in others, uneven, lumps and bumps.

I upgraded on arrival to a better room but the bed gave the worst nights sleep.

Breakfast was good and staff were very nice.
