Goo sweetheart. Your day will tell you what you are looking for. It has chalets overlooking a swimming pool with several chalets suitable for the family as you do not have any reservation to see women in bathing suits

I really enjoyed my stay here. Personnel is friendly and greet you every time. You have wonderful view almost from each room window. There are several restaurants where you can eat during you meal package or order something besides scheduled meal course. Also loved water sports activities, though it might be a bit cheaper for that duration. Sea view is fine, taking in accordance the hotel is located in a closed artificial island. Food is nice and spa is incredible. Caring is well trained here you feel convenience all the time.

Had a short staycation in Sofitel the Palm last weekend and we absolutely loved it. Special thank you to Vagash, who helped us with smooth check-in and check-out, going beyond and upgrading our room for a better view and making sure we changed the rooms effortlessly.
Both dinner and breakfast were very good and we enjoyed the food and service overall.

Sofitel the Palm overall has a good vibe, though The property is much oriented towards families. Even the 'executive lounge' is for children. I just read the reply from hotel and I was wrong. The concept here is 'Premier Lounge'. Sorry about that.

For families an absolute oasis. For people who work - not so much... That being said the staff is amazing all around!

I travel most the time and I have seen similar properties where there are room for both families and professionals aside. All it takes is clever planning of the space of which this hotel has plenty!

I would visit again and with a little reorganising of available space the property could easily fit all kinds of guests and get a proper 5 star review.

I had a lovely experience at the Sofitel Dubai The Palm 2 years ago and I decided to come back. It is incredible how the standard is always very high and my stay got better also thanks to voucher discounts that were offered on check in. Discounts were offered for a variety of options: meals, drinks, activities, shops.

I highly recommend staying in this hotel to make the best of your Dubai holiday

It's quite a drive but worth it. The lobby is amazing and the service is even better. The hallway is out of this world. I first thought that the walls are fake plants until I got close and touched them. They have planted the walls from top to bottom. What we loved the most was the children's centre. They take care of your kids and do many activities with them with all the attention and care of pros.

It was a wonderful experience and they have the best service ever!!

The Sofitel The Palm is rightly one of the best 5 * hotels in Dubai, in discussions with local taxi drivers they said that it is still ahead of the Atlantis. Thus in second place. The hotel is absolutely clean and very well maintained. The entire hotel is kept in a Balinese style, which is particularly effective in the evening with the great lighting and exudes a cozy atmosphere. In contrast to the Atlantis, this is a quiet, rather familiar hotel without any stress.

room

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning is very quiet and easy to regulate. In the bathroom there was a toilet and bidet, two sinks, a rainforest shower and a large bathtub where two people can be comfortably seated. A partition wall can be opened from the bathtub, which allows a view of the bedroom and the balcony. It would be nicer if the hair dryer could also be used in the bathroom, unfortunately this is only possible in the hallway and bedroom.

Personnel / service

We rarely felt so well cared for and looked after. The staff was always friendly, in a good mood and always helpful. In the evening you were always greeted with a smile. The suitcase boys / doorman are very, very helpful and already know our names on the second day. Big compliments to Jagadesh (Jaga) a good-hearted person who gave us lots of tips and was always available for a chat. A top man who goes more than the famous extra mile in his job.

Good service also means dealing sensibly with criticism. At the beginning our room was not as we had imagined. It was located to the driveway / main entrance and therefore quite noisy in the morning (if you had the balcony door open). When we asked if we could do something, we were immediately offered a new room in a higher category and apologized several times for the inconvenience. That was almost uncomfortable for us. So instead of the 1st floor with a view of the sea, we had the 3rd floor with a view of The Palm and the skyline of Dubai. Thumbs up for such an excellent service and customer-oriented approach.

Food / restaurants

The food was an absolute dream and is of the highest standard. From the various restaurants we chose the Moana and the Porterhouse as favorites. The service in both restaurants left nothing to be desired. You were brought to the seat, the chair was pushed up to sit and the napkin was placed on your lap, you felt like a king. Special praise here to Wilbert who showed a very high level of professionalism and friendliness. You always felt very comfortable and in good hands with him. He made every visit to the Moana perfect.

Beach / pool

The beach is very well-kept, clean and there are plenty of comfortable loungers and parasols. Each pair of loungers also has a small digital bell that you can use to call the waiter, where you can then place your order.

There are also enough loungers and umbrellas available at the main pool. Also cabanas that you can reserve. The pool itself has different depths from knee high to 2.20 m. It is continuously guarded by several lifeguards, security is very important here.

Location and surroundings

The hotel is located on The Palm, the man-made palm tree, on the outermost ring of the palm tree near Atlantis. From the Sofitel you walk about 20 minutes to the Atlantis, it is about 2km.

The hotel also offers several bus shuttles that take you to Atlantis, the Emirates Mall and the Dubai Mall. In the evening you will be picked up from there and driven back to the hotel. This is offered by the hotel for free.

The only small "contra-point" or hint would be, for which the hotel is not responsible, that due to the many children the noise level can be very high everywhere.

Beautiful place. Very tastefully done the entire interiors. Staff is very professional and very courteous. Over all experience was wonderful and recommend everyone to experience the luxury and style.

Frankly the second time I went to Sofitel it lost value welcome reception was not too welcome any proposal of extra type breakfast where else and I even had a reflection on my baby's 9 months not mentioned in the reservation and even cleaning in the apartment it was always done at 16 hours

The Housekeeping staff will enter your room without your permission.
After I complained, the Manager explained even if I'm naked in my room, the staff can barge in, and justified that. It's ridiculous. And a safety and security issue.

The buffet is very smartly put up. It looks large and spread out. But fact is that there's 3 omelet counters making the same thing. Some sausages and a few other snacks. Weak buffet with very low options for a 5star hotel.

The tap water inside the rooms has a strong chlorine smell.

The bed in the junior suite is like a balloon. If your parents have/ if you are old and have a spine back cervical neck pain, etc. Stay away from this bed. It feels like a water bed, and provides no support for proper posture.

The place is understaffed. Imagine a hotel with 1, yes you read correct, ONE housekeeping staff for all night. It's not until the sun is out that the other staff joins in.
You want to make your bed at 12am. Get ready to wait until 6am.

The check in procedure is crazy. Be prepared to wait for 2-3hours to get your room. Sometimes even more. My family. Had to wait until 5pm and more to get the rooms. It's super unorganized, understaffed and confusing at the reception checkin desk and lobby.

First day, when I asked directions to the breakfast buffet, me and my family were shown wrong directions and were searching for the restaurant on the wrong side in the summer heat for 30min. Then we came back to the lobby and the lady at the. Concierge explained it was down the hall.

The toilet inside the room doesn't have an exhaust. Imagine being with a friend. Unbelievably surprising.

The stay which lasted 3days was a complete disaster. You'd rather just visit the public beach. Have better privacy than this Hotel. Save all that money and not go through this crazy scenarios.

It's only cause they have the location next to the Atlantis that they pull these crowds. They have No idea how to manage crowds. The buffet queue is a kilometer long to discover 3 tables making the same omelet. The bed is bad. It's understaffed and the Managers justify the hotel with thier ridiculous talk about how they are allowed to barge into your room. And yes if you have a little one, hope she /he isnt scared of lizards.

I stayed here for 2 nights for a conference. Couldn't have been happier with the level of service. All staff were gelpful, the food was amazing and the rooms were comfortable and sparkly clean. If you want to spend for your comfort and delight, this is the place to do so.

I met other hotels the service is excellent the view of the suites, nice the restaurants have transfer service to malls and it is highly recommended

We stayed in this fabulous hotel for 15 days this is the 3rd time I go to dubai but there I fell in love with this hotel a top welcome upon arrival we were taken care of by rookman and what support a magnificent person at the top always present during the stay he speaks French because he is a Mauritian hence the kindness surely our daughter and get sick and he was always present thank you again to him bravo but I reassures you everything else at the hotel and top from the concierge to the reception through the restaurant by the pool an ideal hotel for families one thing and sure if I come back to dubai it will be in this hotel it is my new address thanks to everyone and in particular rookman

Great location with a nice beach and boat rental around. Selection of food could be better for vegetarians. Service and staff are great.

This hotel is amazing. Very beautiful grounds with a tranquil atmosphere. The staff were very friendly on arrival and the check in process was very easy. Fortunately for me I got a complimentary upgrade to one of the suites which was very unexpected but this only enhanced the experience of this hotel.
Myself and our friends went to Moana Seafood Restaurant for dinner and all our drinks and food choices were extremely well presented and tasted beautiful.
Overall an unforgettable experience and will definitely be returning.
