A wonderful place of rest in this never-sleeping city. Very clean rooms, every morning a wonderful breakfast on the banks of the Nile and the graciousness of the staff made the days here a true rest. For the warm and attentive care of Hayyam the (guest relations), who inquired almost daily about our health and the efforts of Mahmoud, who spoiled us daily at breakfast, we would like to thank you very much.

Not what I expected for a 5 stsr hotel and even more so for a Sofitel. The staff is rude, service is extremely slow and not many options for lunch in the hotel, as most of thegood restaurants are nocturnal. Worst serviced restaurants is Jebabgy. The host is quite rude and waiters dont even care about costumers.

It's a very beautiful place with a breathtaking view by the nile. We attended an engagement at le deck and it was just beautiful with awesome service. The rooms for our stay were comfortable as well with an awesome view on a wide area of the nile. It was just magnificent would totally recommend others to visit here.

But the rooms are cramped and the suites are sweet, which features a bathroom for the room and a bathroom for guests in the salon
