We are pleased to inform you that the Sofitel Hotel is the best hotel in Cairo and it is treated with good and respectful with guests and guests. The hotel is clean and fit for families and after the hotel more than a restaurant and in a Moroccan restaurant to my liking and in the restaurant in the Moroccan restaurant named Abdel Moneim man Khalouk and respected and Istahl 5 stars and after Istaf work I am very thankful and kind to all, and God bless you in their work. One of the best places I have ever stayed in Cairo the quality of stuff and food was so to the point, and I would like to thank all the stuff at Casamia ,,, thx to eyad and islam also hayam

There is nothing good here its is the worst hotel ...

There is nothing good here its is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at!!! If the country doesn t want you to visit they should put it on the web! The hotel is of absolutely no help in anything! I requested a cool quit room I got neither. The room is on the 24th floor but it sounds like the window is open. You hear the music and cars all night. If you like the room warm this place is for you it us 28 in the room wish I could open a window. Called two nights in a row to get it fixed and it got no better think it worse! Requested an extra sheet for the bed as I do run warm-at night they couldn t even bother having it here when I arrived. Asked for the mini bar to be emptied it took three calls to get it emptied. Hope the medicine didn t get to warm! When I arrived they where setting up for some event no one could even be bothered directing me to reception. The next day the event was running so they had the paying guest enter though the side entrance so we would not be seen all for there special guest. If the don t want you to stay here why are they taking reservations? When taxi dropped me off at the entrance they would not allow me to enter the hotel needed to walk to the basement to get in. Asked reception, bell boys and tour operator if I could visit the pyramids on my own they all pushed me back to the tour guy. Had to ask the restaurant for assistance with the question, needless to say will not ask where to get my sim card! Went to the spa someone said go to floor 2 well its not there it is on another floor.. Got off the elevator where the spa was to be no signs on where to go sure made the casino clear! Was looking for a hot tub cant use it unless you get a treatment in the spa. Ok ask how about the steam room they say downstairs again no signs. Oh it gets worst no toilet down there you have to go into the spa treatment area for that. The second day they couldn t even give me towels! Would never recommend this place!!!

After a stay at the Old Cataract this hotel seems bland. Certainly suitable for a few nights in a business setting but rather unsuitable for a tourist stay. In addition, I find the staff quite tense, even stressed, can be a management problem?

The only slight downer is the service of one of the female staff named Asma at the KEBABGY restaurant.

When entering I approached to ask for a menu. She turned away and walked upstairs leaving me standing there for a few minutes. I had to look for another staff member. After that the service was great from Rayed and another waiter and so was the food.

Then was approached by Asmaa and asked to give a 5star review on Google. I obliged as the other staff were great. I said no problem and ordered a tea with her and wrote the 5star review.

The tea never came then Asma ignored me for a long time after. Even when clearly seeing me call her. The other helpful staff then gave me tea after ordering a second time.

I then deleted that review and wrote this one.

A nice place with an elegent bar. Outdoor and by the pool bars are there with a very nice atmosphere . Hotel ball room is very nice for weddings and special events with an availability of open air terrace. Rooms are quite nice too

This has been the worst hotel experience in my lif...

This has been the worst hotel experience in my life. I had an accident where the air conditioning unit door dropped from the ceiling in front of my room which I ran into and the Duty manager who seemed to be from the Muslim brotherhood and extremely rude and told me this is not hotel fault and GM stated that you will not be compensated for the negligence which they have stated that they're maintaining the AC units from 12-4 am.
I CAN'T BELIEVE A HIGH LEVEL HOTEL AS SOFITEL FRANCHISE HIRES INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT AS SUCH!!! WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER.....SO DISAPPOINTED
