Stopped in for cocktails while waiting for the Uber surge to end ;) It's pretty a standard hotel bar, cocktails were ok but not amazing and service was ok.

Lovely place to stay. Great spa and spa staff -for something different in treatments, try their Opal Rasul Steam Temple; friendly and helpful hotel staff, always smiling. Will stay there again.

Went for lunch. Felt like a pensioner / RSL style setup at Thyme cafe

The atmosphere, location (located directly about central station and the heart of Brisbane City) and staff were great. A good place to hold an event although parking is quite pricey.

Conveniently located in the heart of the city, actually the main train station is down stairs. Rooms are comfortable and the standard of service is excellent.

Over priced and the most uncomfortable bed I've slept on in years, the carpet a was better.

Lovely luxury hotel near the central station and close to everything in the CBD. Rooms are a bit dated compare to other Sofitels in Australia but the rooms are large and spacious.

Visit here at formal lunch from the course committee. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite comfortable with buffe choices that are very diverse. For those who adhere to halal food to carefully choose food. The restaurant has written content every menu such as those containing wine or gelatin

The sea food buffet was $84 and in my opinion wasn't worth it, they only had tiny oysters, prawns were pretty good, mussels were flavourless, never got around to the fish because I only found it at the end. I was happy with the roast pork and beef vegetables. For a supposed all you can eat and drink event I left feeling hungry and thirsty.

Perfectly located .near the city's street mall parks and just above the train station ..no need for airport taxi!!

Awful experience. Would not recommend staying here to anyone. My grandma booked us a room for a night in Brisbane this past weekend. I flew in earlier than her so I got to the hotel first. My arrival was noted on the booking so they were happy for me to check in and pay what they told me at least 3 times was a $100 deposit. It turned out to be $550. I was completely mislead about the amount they were taking, I assumed they just charged the room to me at the same time of taking the deposit (the room was $450) even though I did not authorise it. I then check my everyday account this morning to find that it's overdrawn as they've charged $450 to my card. So I called and they have said that the $550 was a deposit that will be returned within 7 days (so why wasn't it said to me explicitly that $550 would be taken off my card? On my life, $100 was what was said directly to me as she took my card!) and the $450 is the payment for the room, which I never consented to. This charge wasn't said to me when I checked in and asked 'So only the deposit comes off my card right? The room is booked on my grandma's card?' I was told 'Yes, the room will be charged to the card that made the online booking'. When I brought this up on the call I was told that this is what happens, online bookings will be charged to the card that made the online booking, when I said 'Well my card wasn't the one on the online booking, my grandma booked the room,' the person had nothing to say. No apology for taking a payment with absolutely no authorisation from me. They're calling head office to get the $550 deposit released to me hopefully today instead of waiting a further 5 days. To summarise, they misled me about the deposit, took the room fee from the card that did not make the booking without any authorisation with no apology, or any suggestion of compensation for the overdraft fees I now have to pay due to their negligence. I will never consider staying at Sofitel again.

I wish I was staying here, but only got to use the pool facilities as the Pullen Hotel pool wasn't up to scratch. Fairly decent pool area.

Expensive, particularly the carparking arrangements. Was quoted $240.00 for my car for three days parking. We went to The Hotel Grand Chancellor in Spring Hill instead. Much cheaper, the rooms are good and the guest parking free.

Food was good but given the price could be alot better.

We will never stay there again. We were there for an annual business event and were extremely disappointed. The rooms are average and overpriced. The buffet breakfast was not impressive at all and Sizzler offers more variety. The worst aspect was having to pay extra for parking under the building. It is ridiculous to pay almost 50 dollars per night on top of the room charge. Other colleagues stayed elsewhere and now I know why. Better and cheaper facilities just down the block.

There is a special restaurant, the food is delicious and elegant.

My wife had her 25 year luncheon at the Sofitel and it was a really nice day out. They even had a bike display in the main foyer.

Stayed for 2 nights with access to the club level. Was an amazing experience. Staff were great and more then happy to help with anything. Would recommend this to anyone.

Great decore and staff and function rooms and location. The pillows squashed down to nothing though. Very annoying pillows.

The staff have been very friendly and helpful. Right from early arrival to checkout, they did everything to make my stay a pleasure.

Seafood was very tasty and had a broad variety. Desserts were hit and miss.

Had a function at your hotel today 25/07/2019 great service food good but I had a disabled sticker on the car only to find out their are no lifts from carpark I thought was pretty bad or everthing good

Really nicely decorated, and fancy place. But the platter (nice though it was) didn't seem to have as much as previous, and didn't come with dip. Good service though

Only stayed the one night and it was easy to get back to the airport and desk staff were helpful, bar staff were very friendly, only down side was lifts took 15 minutes to get, seemed to be only 2 working when we checked out.

Outstanding place to stay, the girls in the lounge at breakfast are very helpful and patient and provide excellent service, and check in was super smooth. Highly recommended as a place to stay

Good hotel, centrally located since there is a lift from central station which saves a long walk ip7 a steep hill. Maybe the hotel is in need of a little TLC.

Nice hotel but what they charge for food / drinks is ridiculous. $79 pp fixed for dinner, $35 for a burger in the bar!!! Restaurant was empty most nights which begs the question - would they make more money if their prices were more reasonable / expensible vs forcing people on business travel to eat elsewhere? Probably.

The lunch buffet quality has detoriated recently. While the seafood buffet cold section, dessert and cheese is good, the hot section is poor. The only acceptable item is the roast.

Regularly book a night or two at the Sofitel for a getaway. Rooms have always been nice and clean, staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is great. Overall it's always a fantastic and relaxing experience - never had an issue.

The Cuvee Bar was a nice place to have a few evening drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Went to the restaurant here for a Christmas lunch. The food is fantastic, great variety and lots of options including seafood, the dessert is the star though, so many great options to try!
