Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort Reviews

Have been staying at the casino/hotel a few times a year for about the last 6 years. Now its under construction and all the amentities were closed. No pool, no hot tub, half the restaurants were closed. Getting from the room to the casino seemed to take forever through an obstacle course. We stayed in the worst room we have ever had up there. It must have previously been a smoking room because it smelled horrible, our bed was broken. The security guards were horrible. We get you have to take the temps and we have to wear a mask. The guard at check in was real ignorant to my husband who because of a medical its hard to wear a full mask...he will if he has too but prefers a face shield. He told him it was unacceptable and he had to wear a mask and kept shoving it in his face as my husband was trying to tell him he had one of his own he would put on... Then later on our way to our room we heard another guard yelling at a gentleman in the store using extreme profanity at the top of his lungs. This is unacceptable

Hate how it caters to smokers. Maybe their room should be the small one with not so many machines to choose from and can enjoy their smoke filled air together. Instead of making non-smokers to walk through all the smoke just to get to the non-smoking room all the way to the back of the building. That is why I no longer visit as often as I used to.

Well havent been here in a couple years but here now. I have to say I'm disappointed. The wallpaper in our room is peeling and there is a faint odor in the room. Had to call for more pillows and the tv remote doesnt work so waiting for a new one. Here for our anniversary. Maybe we will try somewhere else next year.

Clean, very crowded on a Friday night. We we're there for a show and enjoyed our time.

It's a great casino that is 18+,not 21+.Had a blast on my sister's birthday.

This being our first wedding anniversary and we planned it for Soaring Eagle. Went to the Aurora Buffet for lunch paid high price to eat there...shabby to crappy food... Asked the server if I could take a very small tart out, she said oh yes you can and was literally tackled at the door by a douche in a Chef hat saying you can't take food out of here. And behind him was a squeaky voice saying thanks for catching us. Really instead of allowing someone to take a small item that they paid a high price for...THEY OPT TO THROW AWAY... What a great memory for our first anniversary, we will NEVER go back to that place....

Really like using coins not one machine. Now we remember why we stopped going.

Fun place to gamble! One of the few 18 and up casinos around

Not bad for a weekend getaway hotel is very expensive though not that great of rooms unless you get a suite

I was able to just go in, spend an hour, and head out on my way through the area, but as a non-smoker, it was not pleasant when I was surrounded by smokers.

Beautiful place just does not pay out like they used

It's a good casino sometimes you win sometimes you lose but it's pretty fun being there.

Clean and friendly, this casino is worth the stop. They have a fairly large non-smoking section, enclosed with a glass wall and door. It includes many of the newer games. If you are staying at the hotel, rooms are clean and very nice. We visit this location every year.

It's a beautiful casino with great food it's a large place with lots of slot machines staff workers are friendly and helpful l like playing there win a little there but prefer smaller casinos!

Love this resort! We stay here once a year, and to be honest we were nervous about this visit due to the pandemic. We chanced it, and I'm glad we did. The staff did an amazing job keeping the facility clean and sanitized, and they were friendly and patient. Our room was great (as always), and we really appreciated all the extra touches to show how they'd cleaned the room. The pool was closed, and they are doing some renovations, but we were told all of that before we went. We'll be back for sure!

We went to the Jeff Dunham show on 6/5 at the outdoor concert venue. The venue and food was nice. They also had good security (metal detectors, bag searches, and wanded). One really obnoxious thing is that there is only one entrance from the outside venue into the casino. So once the show ended, people were literally piled and shoved up against one another trying to go through a single entrance.

Very clean. Looked like there was a lot to do for kids. In door water park was something else

Got a ride from the parking lot to the front door. No problem signing my special needs.daughter up for a players card.

I played table games and I found the dealers to be personable

This is a beautiful casino. I started going here before the resort was built and the casino was in a very nondescript building. (More than 23 years ago) I have been here many times since and have taken each of my 3 children there for their first casino experience when they were old enough. (It became a tradition each child looked forward to). We've also stayed many nights in the hotel and it's simply beautiful. When my kids were young, we also took advantage of the Kids Quest child care which was great.

I was at a business conference. The conference center main hall and smaller conference rooms were very nice. The meal service was excellent.

Had some good winnings left more then came with. Only complaint is all the tobacco smoke

Seen Kane Brown outside my first time there we had fun but the traffic flow was very bad they really need to work out another way to the outside area.

It was real clean this time, fun and I didn't walk away broke..lol

Have previously had great experiences, but... our room was suppose to be smoke free and there was definitely a smoke smell in the room. We witnessed a woman escorted out of the Amy Shumer show for no reason and was told that she was heckling, not true, and she was not part of our party, so this is an unbiased remark. Long lines, no one available to as questions/directions, because the hotel had renovations taking place. New slot machines. With little to no chance of winning at all. Just lose your money FAST. Not as pleasant if a trip as previously.

I had dinner at Isabella's followed by gambling on the casino floor. It was a nice atmosphere, however the smoke is a little much and I had to dry clean my blazer and dress.

Like I said about the slot palace if you like to gamble and fun good place to be

Their buffet is so good that we try to make time to go each time we visit.

Basically the whole experience was wonderful and the staff were great

Then ultimate summer concert venue. Their crowd management leaves a little bit to be desired (slow), so come early. Especially if you want a lawn seat. Makes for a great evening though!

The concert venue is great! The blackjack tables took all my money... But it's definitely a good time.

Dropped over 50$ in 6 different machines and no luck on anything. Just keep your money. Half the machines don't even give you a fun experience because the audio is broken. I used to come to soaring eagle at least once a week about 4 years ago and it was a great time. Seems like none of the staff is the same. The bartenders would rather talk to each other than help you with your drink order. I'd rather drive down to firekeepers or a Detroit casino to spend my money. The staff and the winnings are at least worth it. Sorry to see soaring eagle has gone to complete crap.

Large casino with a bit of everything, including keno and pull tabs. If you enjoy gambling you will find something you like here

Stayed in the suite with the jacuzzi. It was fantastic. Service was super helpful, the food was great, and the atmosphere was great. Definitely worth the money.

I was there for a concert and the casino made sure that getting in and out was easy and smooth. The show was amazing. However I do not like the way the out door venue is set up now.

The soaring eagle casino has get room and clean areas to walk around.

Coustmer service was wonderful. I stay here all of the time.

Outdoor ampitheater is the worst concert venue I have ever been to. $90 tickets to stand in the longest line. Missed half of the show. Horrible seating, could barely see a thing. Soaring Eagle I'm disappointed.

I don't think I'll be coming up again. I've been losing way to much money. The machines are not paying off at all. I know you expect to lose, but never to revive any thing back

It's to bad because it's not a bad ride, it's usually very pleasant there, food is normally good. I love the flav6 water in your machine. I believe it's done water. I would love to be able to buy it. But no body sells it. So sorry.

Saw Journey in Concert. Good prices for seats and the outdoor seating venue was fabulous!! We're gonna go back!

Great food at Assend it's a new bar, restaurant inside the Soaring Eagle. Daily specials too. We shared a Couple's dinner of steak, tuna, with a a salad and dessert! Wonderful

I'd give it ten stars if I could. Wonderful atmosphere. Casino workers all very friendly and efficient. Hotel check in people same! Had wonderful bell service man...Adam who helped us with our luggage...my walker...etc upon checkin. He didn't leave our room till we were 100% satisfied. I was sad to leave. Oh...and it's the only casino I win at. Lots if construction going in now but didn't take away from our experience.

The Aurora buffet was the best thing about the casino. The Slots were tight in more ways than one. Very narrow aisles between banks of machines. Not very generous as far as signing up for Players card and took awhile to get through the line.

The place is not as up to date as it was, it just does not have the pizzaz that it had 15 or 20 years ago, the rooms are dated, there is a ton of construction and the service on the casino floor is slow.

Great gift shop with all sorts of Michigan apparel.

I Had The Most Wonderful Day Playing Bingo, Slots And Jake Owens All Today AND Came Out AHEAD

It was very fancy and clean, the hotel room was a good size and I have no complaints.

Played the penny and the five cent machine for three hours. Had a great time for $35.00. The buffet was excellent with a lot of choices. A fun place!

The best casino around. Wide variety of slots and tables to play. Hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Walls are not paper thin. Pool area well maintained. Check this out if your in the area

Went to the impractical jokers show. It was great. Went into the casino after to use the restroom and it was completely smokey in the casino.

Great place for winning but the food could use some upgrade

We were there for a show and the show was great. The room was ok. We had a king suite, I guess I expected more for a suite.

Casino is smaller than most of the others I've been to. Drinks were cheap (as per usual at casinos outside of detroit). The buffet was not good (I always try the buffet when I visit a new casino). Hot tub in the room was awesome, but couldn't sleep due to noises in the next room over (which they claimed no one was staying in). Had to call the front desk at 4 am and again at 5, and was offered no retribution at checkout. Not even a sorry. I did leave $500 ahead (scoreeee!) and had a good time with my dude though!

Had a wonderful time playing the slots,and my grandma and aunt both won big jackpots,also had a fabulous corn beef Reuben sandwich and fries from the casino grill that was delicious. Got shuttled back n forth between casinos and ran into a few old friends who I hadn't seen in 20 years. Needless to say I will definitely be returning cuz I had a GREAT TIME!

Nice casino atmosphere. Good places for food. Never win any money though.

Location is ideal, service is acceptable, food is average, gaming is really tight.

Didn't stay at their hotel but enjoyed playing the slots.

The casino is clean. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Casino was not enjoyable. The "pit boss" would not allow my husband to place a $4 bet at roulette because the table has a $5 minimum rule per spin, even though it was his last 4 chips and he had spent a lot of money at the wheel.

Plenty of games to choose from, have never visited the resort. Decent little wins that kept us playing for hours
