Decent rooms and food options. Swimming pool area is a treat. 4 stars
It has a very evident smoke smell. About all you smell in the casino section. What also makes no sense is that you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to the non-smoking section. Not great for those folks with respiratory issues. Good thing I don't gamble. 2 stars

The location is perfect, the atmosphere is nice and the resort is currently renovating areas that look to be promising, the renovations also didn't interfere or bother guests.
Stayed here last week, the room was nice bed wasnt very comfy and we had a long walk to our room. We did enjoy our view of the court yard and were happy to have a close by place to stay after a late night of gambling at the casino. Check in went smooth but we had along line to stand in at checkout. All in all were content with our choice to stay there!
They keep updating this place with new features, new machines, etc. Good at the buffet us currently better. But they have had their ups and downs in the past too. Overall an attractive place, but like other casinos the odds always favor the house. You just need to know when to fold them.
Clean, lot's of slot machines, table games. Good staff, but payoffs don't seem to be often or large. Buffet is good and several places to choose from to eat.
One of the better casinos I've been to. Plenty of tables (all price ranges) and more than enough slots. Dealers are always friendly. They also attract a good amount of talent for shows. Play Green Thumb and U-Spin!
Beautiful place!! The place is huge!! If you go to the front desk when you get there and sign up as a member they'll give you $10 to gamble with. They also gave my friend, who was already a member, $10 just for bringing me.
Got into town late and drove up there around midnight. The place was dead. I played about 100 dollars and lost it all. Sat down with my last 20 and hit the minor and major for over $800 dollars. I cashed out and went to my hotel. It paid for my vacation because of that win. I couldn't believe it and it was empty so no one could watch. Good times. I try and stop every time I'm in Michigan love that casino and the pop bar...self serve pop! Florida don't have self serve pop at the casino
The machines are tight as ever, and the crab legs were good but taking a beeper and waiting an hour and a half was bad enough but to get in line and wait for another half hour or so to eat was a bit ridiculous.
We went to a concert on the hill top. It is the best outdoor venue we have been to. Clean facilities, friendly grounds staff, and we felt safe to let loose and have fun with the heavy presence of security. A perfect night with great music!
There was no organization what so ever when it came to the shows, we missed the show because we had no idea where to go and once we figured it out the lines were so long we couldn't get in.
I have been to Soaring Eagle before and always had a wonderful time. This time was a bit different. All of the resturants had extremely long line no matter what time of day it was. We decided to order room service the first night because we would not have been sat until 10pm. The food was good, but not worth the price. The following day we went to play the slots, and had a nice time, but they did not have any of the newer games we have played else where ( wizard of October or willy wonka). When we asked about them they said that they get asked about those a lot, but they are not getting them. That evening we decided to leave the resort and had dinner in Mount Pleasant to avoid lines. When we got back we went to the pool for a swim. To our suprise the hotels allowed a guest to have a birthday party there for there daughter. There was about 30 kids running around, screaming at the top of there lungs, and pouring pop in the pool. We then decide to go outside to the hot tub, and the same thing was going on. When we went and complained everyone that worked here had a different story on why they were allowed to have a party here. We also found out that the adult had booked a couple rooms and then the hotel registered about 30 kids to those rooms. I don't know, but I am pretty sure it is against fire code to have that many kids registered to a room. Sorry but I paid to stay at a resort and casino not a kids water park (that is down the road). When I asked to speak to who authorized this I was told they would not be back until next week. Thank you soaring eagle for ruining what was supposed to be a nice relaxing weekend!
