There was not a bad seat in this venue. The hill was so cool to sit on, the people in the front section all got talked to, there are plenty of screens to see. You really can't go wrong here.

It would be nice if employees didn't mess with the machine while your playing, my experience last night was I was winning until they came around to change money boxes he pulled my card put his in changed the box and when I could start playing again I couldn't hit anything.

I don't know what it is - the northern Michigan atmosphere, the cleanliness, the general layout of the casino and the hotel, or the pabst on special, but I was extremely happy with my stay at SE. Great times.

Had the worst food in Mt Pleasant at isabellas. The steak was low quality and over cooked. My daughter had manicotti. The pasta was dry and hard. The fish was old. Service was good. I will not go back.

Came here to see the Snocross Championships being held on a snowy hill on their property. Has a great time, got a chance to see the casino as well and really enjoyed it. Clean and upscale place, fun atmosphere!

Granted the variety of games has gone up but the gambling experience has gone down dramatically. Hand pays are far and few between compared to other casinos. Used to go once a month now more like once every 3 to 4 months. Tight machines keep locals from being regulars.

Great Casino. Had a great time there with my friends. All the staff there were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely let everyone know that the casino is largely a smoking area and the non-smoking section is relatively small if that's a problem for anyone.

Excellent food but the staffing is short handed and service very slow. Lost of people waiting to be seated when there are plenty of seats open. Hostess is bussing tables instead of seating people. I love this place but they really need to work on the service in the Landing. They are still learning but I hope they get it together soon.

Decent room, mattress was terrible but the rest of the amenities were good. The location is horrific, roughly a 30 min drive to any major highway. Decent options for food and entertainment, the showroom and box office have good options. Staff is hit or miss, casino employees were alright, but the concierge threw up in her desk trashcan while we were checking out, and there are next to no waitresses on the casino floor. Perhaps a little more lenient sick day policies for employees is in order? No one should have to come to work so sick they vomit in front of guests, and on the flip side as a guest it was disgusting and unprofessional.

It's ok. The drinks are really expensive and most casinos give you free drinks while you're gambling. Also I like to play five dollar or $10 blackjack at the table with the dealer and there were only two tables set up and open for this. One table had five dollar bets the other table was $10 bets. There were at least seven of us looking to play and we were told we could not sit down at either table even though there were open seats because apparently they were holding them for other people who had gotten up and ran off. We waited for over 45 minutes and of course these people never showed back up. The dealer at the table was very rude and I mentioned it to the pit boss. Who ended up getting another dealer to take over but by that time we were ready to leave. I still gave it three stars because I have been there one other time and actually had a little better experience.

I saw Jeff Dunham on August 5th and really enjoyed my experience. The lines moved at a decent pace. The monitors made sure you have a good view no matter where you are. The audio was excellent.

Attended for a convention; don't gamble and didn't visit the casino end of the complex.

Loved my room. Soaking tub, fireplace... Suspect they're not all that nice, but if you can get one of these rooms, it's wonderful. Double shower. Nice bed, blackout curtains. Slept VERY well.

Noticed the cigarettes from the casino end the minute I got out of the car; not used to that anymore in the rest of my life.

Ballroom / meeting room space was comfortable; wireless ran fast enough for everybody to follow along. Nice facility.

DO NOT GO HERE RIGHT NOW AT ALL. We have gone here since it was built as well as many other casinos. We know you can not always win or break even for that matter but what we experienced on Saturday July 25th was not even remotely acceptable. We have never seen slot machines that were as unplayable as what they have networked for payout here currently. Place was packed and there were NO winning faces in this place. The PA system for the first time ever was cranked up so loud you couldn't hear the fact that no machines were winning. We did try every corner and machine section in the building. You couldn't even sit for awhile and relax while slowly losing your money to a machine (at least get the good old sit and play for awhile before you get taken to ZERO). This would of at least offered some entertainment. Did have a nice gal from Slot Operations say so nicely "It MAY not be a good time for playing for a few months, there is a lot of revenue for the casino to recoup and were still not barely functional right now" referring to the lack of concerts and things that are built into their business model... I could go on and on but I just want to save people the financial misery of going here right now. Oooh, and thank you State of Michigan Gaming Comission for turning your blind eye on these places to screw these good patrons.

My husband and I went to see Bill Maher's show and then played video poker for 3+ hours. Time flew by! The stage/arena where Bill Maher performed was very clean. We had general admission tix so seats were first come first serve so we got there an hour early to get good ones. That being said, you can see the stage or the two large projectors from anywhere in the room. The concession stand gets long but they move quickly. Same at the casino...never ending line to get your player's club card. If you intend to go to the casino or its affiliate locations, it provides decent rewards based on your # of points generated throughout your gambling. The pizza was delicious (shockingly good actually for what you'd typically get at a pizza stand) Drinks are EXTREMELY reasonably priced....from $3-$7(7= double) beer, wine and liquor options. We stayed the night down the road at the soaring eagle waterpark because rooms were much cheaper than at the casino. A shuttle runs between the locations until 12am on Fri/sat only so if you're planning to drink, there's that option but it's kinda early to leave a casino.

All is as you would expect from a casino resort in Mid Michigan. Service is warm, but slightly unique professional. Rooms are clean and updated, but not jaw dropping. Food is hearty and portions are huge, but we're not talking high cuisine here folks.

The casino floor was very nice. Everything seemed very clean and tidy. Workers at the box office were very polite and would readily get the costumer any drinks or food that was asked for. I had a great time there and look forward to next event there.
