Review of Winter Wonderland only. A great experience for children, a chance to play in real snow. Ride on sleighs and enjoy some very big snow slides. The chance to play is followed by a live action play with Santa and characters which was lots of fun. You finish your trip walking through some animals including reindeer. Well worth going for children.

A great snow dome and very knowledgeable staff is kept good condition year round. It has a wide range of activities not just skiing and snowboarding but a very large pool and tobogganing for the kids.

Went to snow dome tobogganing under the Covid 19 crisis for my daughters 7 birthday great to see management taking it Seriously so we can enjoy some normality
Were strict on masks ,staff wearing them as well ,great to see
Temperature checks on way in great signage explaining procedures
Videos to back it all up
If every business followed their example maybe we could get back to normal!!!!

We had a great time and the place felt very safe and a great time was had.

I have read the review from Darren Oxley just before my review.
Darren you sound like an absolute plonker, its hard enough at the minute and then there is also Jerks like you stomping around.

Only went to a childs birthday party but I was impressed at what was available, the kids enjoyed themselves too. I would like to try the swimming and adult activities although when looking at the prices it is quite expensive!

Car parking was really bad spaces so close together couldn't get kids out of car.
Our grandchildren are 3 year olds, liked the snow with sledge although to our critical eye it was just the walkway around the ice ring filled with snow, 30 min later ushered into a Father Xmas show, was a panto of sorts, packed in like sardines Even though we paid same money for our grandchildren as ourselves was asked to sit children on knees to make more room not impressed, 30 min later ushered out again to see animals, I was very impressed with the animals.
As you are moved from room to room you cannot go back, so leaving the animals you are guided through the way out with opportunities to have your picture taken.
Kids got a small chocolate lolly on the way out.
Kids really enjoyed themselves but to my mind felt like a conveyer belt and was overpriced.

Great to have real snow so close by. Car park can flood though so park on high ground. They do give you plenty of warning though with staff stationed at the car park barrier if it is likely to be a problem.

Starting out snowboarding it's very helpful for beginners as they do get priority on the slope. As an intermediate snowboarder, it's not great at all, one slope for everyone means there isn't enough room, if you only go snowboarding once a year and need a refresher this isn't the place to go. It's too much work worrying about the learners on the slope whilst you're trying to get your legs back. For how much it is, I would definitely travel to another slope and spend the extra on petrol and have a nice relaxing day

If you are an intermediate person you will aspire for one of the newer centres that has a button lift on the snow. Walking around to the escalator is ok for the first hour but when you have a day pass it really takes it out of you. There s also a gap in the middle of the 2 escalators which requires more walking.

The piste is just long enough. There is a rope for getting to half way but again it s quite difficult to use all day. Fast skiers and boarders will need the whole piste every run.

The facilities in the centre are great, the restaurant was reasonably priced and the food was tasty.

There are a lot of friendly staff and helpful instructors to welcome you to the sport of skiing or snowboarding.

If this is your first time on snow or you want to improve your skills I recommend a visit to the SnowDome.

Had a brilliant beginner ski lesson today with our Instructor Louis.
He was very good. He got the best out of us with the right amount of encouragement and by reading us perfectly. We were also very lucky because we were the only 2 people in a group lesson and so had a great session. Thanks Louis we have booked the next level already.

First time going to the SnowDome. Not sure whether it was the time of year but the place was over crowded and too busy. Parking was horrendous and the 'foyer' was full of people either waiting, queuing, coming or going. Seems like there's too many things to do in a building not big enough for the influx of visitors during the Christmas season.

I hadn't skied for a few years so I went to see if I could still do it. Yes, it all came back but not as fit as I could be. Must thank the Snowdome staff, they were excellent! The snow was good and the slope not too crowded. Skiing is just one of the many facilities here which include ice rink, swimming and gym. Would be easy to spend a couple of days there. There is a hotel on site. Website is easy to use for bookings. Enjoy.

What a great place. Easy to get to and absolutely massive. Snow is of decent quality and really good for getting your technique together before going abroad. Some nice shops and restaurants too. Try to go at quiet times, like week days. Isn t cheap but worth it!

I had arranged a gift of children's ski lessons. The instructor was brilliant and really made it a special occasion. Great news when it's your first ever ski. If you need easy access you much pay attention to the car park signs and turn left as you enter the car park. Otherwise there's a huge flight if steps to get in and that's not fun with a baby in buggy. So all in all a great place and the kids want to go again now as they saw the climbing wall as we left! We will be back.
