If you're looking for a contractor who can provide a great product and a remarkable customer experience (vs. just being sold a 'job' and then regretting the decision) you have found your contractor of choice right here with Snap Construction. They handled my hail claim from last summer. They took the reigns in dealing with the insurance company and made everything very easy.

They redid our roof and installed a new gutter on side of garage. I was very happy with the quality of service and they cared that I was happy with the installation of the new skylights we had replaced. I highly recommend SNAP if you are considering them.

These guys were great to work with. From the initial bid until window installation, Dan was responsive and the crew was amazing. Respectful , cleaned up, on time and a great value. Highly recommend.

We have used Snap twice within the last 2 years. They did the siding on our house in Feb 2016 and we were very pleased with the results. So when it came time to get a new roof this summer we stayed with Snap. Great customer service!

Snap was a great company to work with, and my project manager Jeff was so helpful. He kept in touch throughout the process and always did a great job explaining what was coming next. The work crew was professional and did quality work, even when encountering a few unexpected challenges on my nearly 100 year old house. Jeff also encouraged me to check with my homeowners insurance in case any of the damage to my roof was covered, and I was able to file a claim which helped cover part of the cost. Everyone involved made a daunting project very manageable and I have confidence in the quality of my new roof!

Snap did our roof last fall. Matt was great to work with. He always kept in touch and checked in throughout the whole process. We found a couple of small issues in the spring after the snow melt and they came out quickly and got everything fixed up. Thanks for the great service!

A few weeks ago after heavy rain storm, I called Snap to get someone to see if they could find out why water was coming into my window sill and up from the floor to my carpet near the window. Steve the estimator came with another staff. Steve spent close to 30 minutes to diagnose the problem i.e. the weeping hole of window frame was clogged. We used a metal hanger to clean it out and water stopped building up on window sill. WOW, since it's unrelated to a broken seal or other structural issues around the window that they could fix as a job, we shook hands and with much gratitude from me. It truly is rare in today's world that they have someone who's so keen to figure out the WHYS vs. tear it, rebuild it...etc. to get a big job order when issue was a clogged weeping hole. Next time when I have repair issues I will call Snap in a snap for sure.

Hired SNAP to install new windows, vinyl siding, and exterior stone on my home, plus rebuilding the front entryway. I couldn't be happier with decision. The guys worked in the cold, sometimes single-digit cold, to complete the work quickly with minimal disruption. The quality of the work is outstanding. I will definitely be using SNAP for future projects.

Everyone I worked with ,from the sales person, the workers, and the project manager were very professional and detail oriented. And when I had an issue with some heat buckling they came out and fixed it , no hassle, no added charge. These people want your business and are a company with integrity. Very pleased.

Snap Construction has done another great job on my home today with an amazing job wrapping the wooden trim with aluminum. No more scraping and painting! I worked with Larry Burger this summer to get the last two windows replaced in my house. They were the largest windows in the house. Larry and his crew (Kerry) offered some changes to the look of the old windows to the new ones. The windows came out really great. The window look so much bigger than the old ones. This winter I'm not concerned about the cold getting into the house. Larry is a very personable guy. NO high pressure salesmanship. I have used Snap for a new roof, new siding and all the windows in the house over the last 5 years. I would definitely use Snap Const for other work on the house. Pete

Being in the insurance business, I am constantly looking for reputable contractors to refer my clients to. Some years back I was referred to SNAP and their general manager Matt and haven't stopped referring them to my clients since. Their craftsmanship is second to none, their follow up is impeccable, but the best part of working with them is their communication, specifically how Matt works hand in hand with the clients thru the claim process. Snap was great, new siding and replaced a few windows with a more efficient vinyl window that was also a local company in Minnesota. There was some debris left after they took the dumpster, however that was taken care of during the final quality control inspection. All in all, it looks great and would recommend them

We started with a different manager who needed to take a leave of absence. Matt jump in and supervised all of the work. We replaced the rear door of our home and the garage roof which included all of the fascia. The workers were professional and courteous and Matt is a rockstar. We had our roof replaced by Snap Construction. It is a large roof with a 12/12 pitch over a large portion of it. It also had cedar shakes that had to be removed as they were at the end of their life. It's my understanding these are more difficult to remove than asphalt shingles.

Greg Burger, our project manager, was great to work with. He was professional, courteous and always kept us informed. He came by the day after the job was completed and confirmed everything was satisfactory. He walked around the house and picked up any nails, staples and trash he found.

Sam, the foreman of the crew, was professional and easy to talk to about any questions throughout the install.

Snap was really great to work with. They replaced the siding and shingles on our entire home, some fascia and some of the gutters after a hail storm. From the first meeting, Matt Thomes takes the burden off the homeowner and communicates directly with the insurance company to get the job done. He also gives you his personal cell number and responds quickly to questions and concerns. He and his team are punctual and efficient. Matt kept me up to speed on their schedule from start to finish. The project was pushed back a few times due to weather, but I was always informed of when to expect delivery of the materials and work on our house. I was having guests over to my house just as they were finishing up the project and Matt worked with me to make sure the project was finished and the materials picked up ahead of schedule to accommodate my guests.

Working with Matt Thomes and Snap was a welcome reprieve from prior experiences with contractors that did subpar work and/or had very bad customer service. I have since contacted Matt to have additional work done on my house and the experience has been just as good the second time around.

Snap Construction helped with me a soffit, fascia and rafter overhaul on a 100+ year old home in Minneapolis. From consult to completion, it was a very positive experience.

Dan was straightforward in his consultation, but never salesy. There was no pressure. He very clearly outlined the costs deliverables and timelines. It was a pretty simple and easy process.

Scheduling an exterior home project in Minnesota in March/April time is tricky due to unpredictable cold and snow. Snap was courteous in its communication, with regular check-ins for scheduling.

From there, Dan and the Snap Construction delivered. Very simply, Snap Construction completed the soffit, fascia and rafter project on time and on budget. The completed work looks great and it is solid.

I hired a snap construction to do my roof in 2018. They replace the roof hired a cheap labor to do the roof. First I had problem with chimney once they replace the roof. Greg snap construction worker came back to do the temporary patching on chimney they should have done it professionally but they didn't then my my window start leaking I called the snap construction and Matt who is the Manager at snap construction started saying it is a insulation issue addict insulation need to be replaced. I have called the other contractor which I can't disclose who stated the gutters were installed incorrectly and my house siding was damage and windows wood was damaged due to poor job they did with gutters. I would never recommend Snap construction to anyone.

I do construction management for a living and I can confidently say that I would highly recommend Snap construction for your next residential project.

I was mostly impressed with the communication and professionalism that the individuals had. I actually went through the process of bidding out 3 different contractors for my attic insulation. While I will admit that snap was not the lowest bid (marginal difference), they were by far the most complete and comprehensive bid I saw. I knew what I was paying for and what I would get out of it. That is what you have to be careful of, contractors give you a vague scope at a low price, then jack up their rates on "changes". Not the case with Snap.

Field guys were extremely nice and professional. Both guys introduced themselves and told me what they were going to do and what they needed from me.

Long story short, give them a fair shot and have them quote your next project. Check their bid against competition and I'm confident in the end you will follow in the same path I did and choose Snap construction. The knowledge and upfront honesty is what I look for in my contractors both for work and my personal house. I will most certainly be using Snap in the future and hope you choose to also.

After have a poor experience with a "storm chaser" as another commenter put it, I was lucky enough to get in touch with Matt from Snap. As a customer service manager, I'm not always the easiest to please as my expectations are high. So how was my experience with Matt from Snap? Let's just say I'd hire him in 2 seconds if he ever wanted to change professions. Enough said!

Great cost estimate. I loved the end result but had to constantly call for updates from salesperson. They cracked my siding and did a really poor job covering it up. Luckily I had extra siding and they did come out and fix it. Besides that, job was quality. On the fence if I would use them again.

We hired Snap Construction to build a deck and overall it was a great experience! Matt was super easy to work with and provided great communication. The work was a little slower than I expected, but we were in daily communication with Matt and his crew, which was helpful and reassuring.

The project went great. We were worried about inviting a construction scene into our home right after we moved in, but figured it was best to get it out of the way and start enjoying the renovations. The hardwood floors were damaged from the previous owners larger pets and the carpet needed replacing. The walls also needed new paint and a fresh look. Those were are immediate concerns. However, after inviting Snap in we decided to dig into the rest of the projects we had on our list to just get it all over with. We have other friends in the building and wanted to create something that was unique since most of the units look the same. We had them rearrange the cabinets and add a built in wine fridge that looks great. The new cabinets looks and perform great, we love the automatic soft close drawer slides and soft close hinges on the cabinets. The hood was custom built of stainless steel from a local artist they have a connection with and looks really good. It is hard to explain, but looks as though it was a factory finished piece until you get close and realize the work that went into it. We had them install new counter tops as well that have charging units built in for cell phones. The 1.5 bath was a complete overall. This was the one disappointing place when we first bought our home and where they really cut corners. There wasn't a lot of room for creativity in there so we went with a really clean look with an all glass shower, new vanity, and tile throughout. All in all I think they did a great job. Communication was great and helped us both to stay at ease. They also did a good job cleaning up each night. The only issue was an area that needed to be repainted that we noticed some flaws in after the finish. They came right out no questions asked and repainted it and felt compelled to write them a good review for the excellent service. Too often people just want to talk about the bad, so thought I would get out the good. Thanks!

We had snap construction replace the roof on one of our new rental properties that we just bought. We just snap from the recommendation of one of our friends that had worked with them in the past. We had a great experience, they were very professional, upfront, and honest. The entire job took about two weeks and everything was finished on time, exactly like how it was planned out. It's been about a month now since they completed the roofing replacement and so far everything has been great, the workmanship is excellent. I definitely recommend snap Construction if you are looking to get your roof repaired or replaced.

I do not think that Snap Construction could have made my storm damage claim any easier! From sales, to the builders to the front office these guys rock. They were able to work exclusively with my insurance company (with very little interaction from myself) to ensure that my damaged siding was replaced in a timely manner. The builders were courteous, professional and the quality of the craftsman ship is impeccable. In the end I was billed exactly what the salesman informed my I was going be billed for...my deductible. I will defiantly be using Snap Construction for future construction needs.

I heard Snap Construction advertised on a local radio station. One local small business supporting another small local business. We need more of this local support. Anyhow, A couple weeks later I found myself needing a few repairs done around my house. I jogged my memory, and it brought me back to the advertisement and Snap Construction. I called, talk to a lady in the office who was very nice and was able to connect me then to sales manager, Matt. Within a few days Matt was at my house going over my needed repairs. The next morning I had what I considered, a fair quote for my needed repairs. Matt and I discussed a time frame on when they could come complete the repairs. Even with many rain days, Snap Construction was able to get the job done within the quoted time frame. The workers who preformed the repairs did a fantastic job. Matt was great to work with. He answered my many questions, stayed in touch often to keep me up to date on when they were able to schedule the job. If you haven't used Snap Construction and are looking for a good contractor, I highly recommend calling them.

We initially called for an estimate for attic insulation. As we were doing the walk-through we mentioned that we were getting our roof done, the rep asked if he could submit a bid which we agreed.

I highly recommend this place! I just had them come out to check on how much damage was caused by a leaky roof and they didn't see any major issues, and did not try to sell me something that I didn't need. I ended up not moving forward with this part of the project, however I found Tim friendly, helpful, personable and reasonable in cost and implementation. I will absolutely keep him in mind for future projects!

I used snap for an energy audit- easy to schedule, spoke with Brian who also came to the house. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and he explained everything clearly as he went along.

What's more, the audit actually showed that I didn't need any insulation, there was no up selling and Brian continued to do a thorough job and pointed out a few areas I can fix myself. great service and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Tim was very accommodating, and quick to respond. The crew arrived at 8am, and was done stripping the old and laying new shingles by 3pm same day (11 squares).

Snap did a fantastic job- they arrived on time, had the right tools and supplies to do the job, cleaned up after themselves, and left the place looking great. The additional insulation has dropped my energy usage by about 300 kWhw per month.

We had great service from beginning to end from Snap Construction. Our salesman, Erik was responsive and punctual. All aspects were upfront an well explained. The work done was fantastic and timely. I don't have a negative thing to say.

We had work done a year ago, and the owners of the company were great to work with. They were very helpful in getting us through the process with our hail damage claim with the insurance company.

I would give 5 stars except that the people who came out to do the siding, really did not do that great of a job. First, they put different siding shades on different edges??? And tried to tell my husband that it looked that way because of the way the sun hit it. We had to complain to get them to fix it. (And it looked much better after being re-done)

My issue now, is that over a year has gone by and siding pieces continue to come down at random and my husband keeps having to fix it. I have never had to keep shoving siding back in place like this before. Hopefully a piece doesn't end up breaking when it comes down... Then we would really have a problem!

They did more work than just the siding, and I am happy with all of the other work as of yet, but the siding was a disappointment, and I do not expect that it will last as long as we would like.

We chose Snap based on some previous reviews and research. These guys did a fantastic job from start to finish. They took care of the insurance claim, filing rebates, scheduling, as well as checking up to see if we were happy after the work was complete. Great job Matt and his crew, you guys will definitely be recommended and referred as well as called on if needed again.

We had to have our leaky roof replaced in November and we had to find a two-day window for nice weather. Dan helped us pick out the right shingles and find the right consecutive days with good weather. The roofers were very courteous and made sure all the debris was picked up. Their bid was very competitive too. I would definitely hire Snap Construction again.

Had Snap come and done the wall insulation. Everything was very easy and straightforward. Dan Lahr came out and did the estimate, then coordinate everything else. I like the fact that there was no pressure, everything was clear, the paperwork is clear and professional-not chicken scratch on a piece of napkin like another company I had estimates for. We had the roof done on our house and garage at separate times. Both times Snap Construction was quick to respond. They had a good price and were easy to communicate with. They got us on the schedule quickly and the work was completed within a day on both occasions. Everything was cleaned up upon completion. We are very happy with the work they did.

I have an insulation project at my attic. Project manager (Mike) was really helpful explaining to process and helping with rebate application.
Installation also went w/o hassle and on time as they promised.

We worked with Snap Construction for a few different projects at a rental home that we owned. Most significantly, they helped manage a hail damage claim to the roofing and siding of our home.

Dan Lahr, the Project Manager we worked with, was both flexible around our schedules and helpful in managing the large project (new roof + new siding). He worked with us to maximize our claim and helped us put together a really unique exterior refresh of the home.

In the past, when I've worked with construction companies around insurance claims, it feels very cookie-cutter and rushed to maximize profit. Snap was patient with us and very accommodating and in the end we landed on a finished product that both parties were happy with!

I recently had to replace a roof due to storm damage, and could not have been happier with the service from Snap Construction. Greg was great to work with and made sure the whole process went smoothly. He was very accessible, and was able to meet with our claim adjuster on a moments notice. In July of 2017 we contacted Snap Construction for a proposal for our leaking flat roof at our business in South Minneapolis. Snap had stellar reviews online so hiring them was an easy decision. They advertise on AM 950 and we ve had good luck with other contractors we found through AM 950. Snap proposed patching the roof. At that time Dan, the estimator, commented their roofer thought the rubber was in good shape so repairs by resealing the old seams by applying 9 seam tape over all the seams. The bid was $6,250 which seemed high to us. Dan defended the price saying the roll of seam tape that would cover and reseal the seams on the roof was expensive.

The job started poorly, upon arrival the roofing crew s first question was, What are we doing? . I should have known we were not on the same page at the start. When they completed the work I inspected the roof. The seam were not recovered as proposed instead they installed numerous five inch patches all over the seams. After we pointed out the discrepancy between the proposal, install new 9 seam tape and the installed five inch patches the roof still leaked continuously. FROM THE EXACT SAME PLACE as it did before they started. They came back a numerous times to reinspect, to add patches etc. Same results, the roof still leaked.

It s worth noting a roofer contractor repeatedly returned to my property to inspect/repatch without a ladder. They showed up and asked me for a ladder. We run a tree service. That s like a member of my crew showing up asking to use a client s chain saw.

Finally the issue of the poor quality workmanship and poor service was kicked up the chain of command at Snap Construction. Ryan, the owner, began our interchange by telling me I needed to be patient. I told him the story above, which he knew nothing about, and assured him we were nothing if not patient. He also claimed I was just trying to get by patching an old roof. From the start in all of our conversations with Snap this was the first time anyone mentioned us needing a new roof and Ryan had never seen the roof.

We were told we were due a credit.

Ryan, the claims you make about your company in your advertising on AM 950 regarding standing behind your work are simply not true.

Our roof no longer leaks because we had a different contractor replace the roof recently.

We had Snap Construction do a multi-part project for us: roof, insulation, and gutter covers. We worked with Dan, who did a good job of keeping us apprised of what was happening next and what to expect, and who was responsive to calls from us. The project was pretty well organized, and disruption was kept to a minimum. As with many exterior construction projects, weather and supplier delays were a factor that had to be worked around. The workers who came to our home were courteous and conscientious. They did a wonderful job of cleanup after the roof replacement. I only found one stray nail in the whole yard. All in all, we were delighted with the results, and we will use Snap again if we plan another project.

Dan and staff of Snap where vary ease to work with. They understand what I needed and wanted.

Snap Construction has been nothing but patient and wonderful with us! My sisters new roof looks a million times better than the old one and has not been damaged from the recent hail etc. the new color also adds pop to the house color. You won t go wrong with this company. They are wonderful people!

I've waited forever for these guys to show up. Week after week i keep getting excuses for why they couldn't make it. My roof is leaking and is now a nightmare. It went from a simple roof fix to water damage and mold. I'd use someone else except it's through my association and I don't have much choice.

Update after response from owner:
I cannot speak to what is in your database, but someone with the Snap Construction logo on their vehicle came to my house to inspect the damage, and someone from your company called to inform me that someone would be coming to do the repairs on a specific date. I'm definitely not confused on whether it was your company or not. No one ever came to do the repairs (this no show happened multiple times, which is why i posted the negative review). Eventually my management company went with someone else to get the repairs to the roof done.

Had roof replaced, easy to work with, guys showed up on time and worked every day til finished. They worked with me on financing which was awesome. I will go back to them in the future.

Snap Construction helped me out after my house in St. Louis Park, MN, was damaged by hail. They handled negotiations with the insurance company, and did a great job replacing my roof, gutters, and siding. Their project managers are very busy, so occasionally hard to get a hold of, but they have a to of support if you have questions. I highly recommend them!

Attic insulation... Very professional and excellent customer service. They were on time and had the work done when they said.

It's been great working with Brian over that last few years on some house projects. Roofing, gutters, siding, insulation, interior remodel...to name a few. Extremely knowledgeable and a wealth of information when I need it. Has even helped me in a couple instances where he new there was no money to be made, Thanks Brian! I would highly recommend them and will use Snap in the future!

Snap construction did a wonderful job on our roof. We got quotes from a few places and they were by far the cheapest, but also were very detailed with their process that I knew we were still receiving the highest quality of services. They completed our roof in a day, and installed gutter guards for us a few days later, and that process only took maybe an hour. Very impressed, very professional, very thorough. Special shout out to Matt for helping us through the process and being extremely responsive always.

The process was very easy. The crew showed up ON TIME, was very personable and professional. They cleaned up after the job and finished the work in the stated timeframe. Office staff was very helpful, explaining the rebate process and filing all the need paperwork We would use them again.

Ryan and the team at Snap Construction were great to work with. They showed up on time with large knowledge base and were able to help me out with a roofing problem we had. They left our place very clean and were very professional from start to finish.
