I think the food might probably very well be sorta good (dunno because I didn t order anything), one of the lights kept turning on and off at 1 minute intervals, destroying the carefully planned ambiance of the otherwise exquisite dining environment. Step it up, SLURP!!!

Terrific ramen. Try the steamed pork bun and the chicken bun. Both delicious and not too big. Classic ramen with pork belly is a must try. Might be tough to get parking in the lot when it is busy but the food is totally worth it. Thanks.
Omg I felt like I was back in Japan they have a great seating system when it's busy but the parking sucks it doesnt even matter the food is absolutely mind blowing it is so good and worth the 30 mon drive for us if your craving or missing Japanese food this is authentic and they are the real deal
Absolutely love it! The Ramen here is the best I have ever had. You can eat there or take it to go and service is generally very speedy. The staff is really nice too.
Slurp is always a whim away when deciding what I want for dinner or even lunch. I'm not a big fan of ramen so I typically go for the chicken or Hawaiian bowls. The pork buns are absolutely addictive and there staffs demeanor is always very pleasant. I will be a repeat customer here till the day they open one on my block.
Good prices for a really quick lunch. Counter service and your food arrives in short order. If you have broth leftover and need more noodles, a small price gets an extra order of noodles or protein. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area and want a quick bite.
Pretty good food for its surrounding location which includes rice bowls, small apps, and a variety of beverages. The cashiers bowing feels a little excessive but the service is fast and friendly.
This is my very FAVORITE place to eat period. The staff is always very kind and helpful and the ramen is so delicious. It is very un-fussy, not-fancy decor which is completely fine with me. I come here for the ramen and the delicious buns not to stare at decorations! I ve eaten lots of ramen and I just can t forget this place. Especially if you re looking to have a vegan option for broth! The Slurp Spicy is my absolute favorite I get it with noodles, tofu garlic chips and and two eggs(not vegan obviously). They are really great about substitutions and have never made a mistake with my order. The broth is SO flavorful which is amazing since there is no animal fat. It s just the right amount of spicy! Please give this place a try if you haven t. I wish I could give this place a lot more than 5 stars. Thank you Slurp ramen for being amazing.
I really loved their dishes. I always get fantastic customer service here. The place is clean and the employees are always nice. Will come visit again.
Got pressured into going there by my wife... I'm more of a beer, burger, steak and BBQ kinda of guy... with that being said... It was great... Had some kind of rice bowl that had perfectly cooked fried chicken on top with some kind of spicy mayo... Very good! My wife had a ramen bowl that she said was very good as well. We ordered a calamari appetizer that was cooked exactly as it should be with a dipping sauce that was excellent. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you... FAST! The place was packed but we were still able to find a table easily. Crowd seemed like locals... Nice easy going... No drama. Everybody for the most part seemed to be onboard with the whole clean up after yourself mentality... There were bins clearly marked where used utensils and bowls should go... As well as garbage and recycling containers. It was a great lunch... And we will definitely be going back.
Excellent food with tricky parking lot. Please remember, you will have to move backward on to the main road while getting out of the parking space. This especially problematic during busy hours. Food? Super delicious. We spent 55 bucks for 4 persons and it was an excellent lunch!
Came here for the first time last week with my friends who swore this place has amazing ramen. They were right. Hearty soup, chewy noodles, fresh toppings - the trifecta of good ramen. Next time I'm in Port Jeff, I'm definitely coming back to try the rest of the flavors.
Quite literally the best ramen place I ve ever been to in my entire life. The food is so delicious, service is really quick, staff is very kind! Wonderful options for vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters.
Great food, fast service, and a nice atmosphere. If you're grabbing a quick lunch on a break, a nice lunch/dinner for two, or bringing a whole group of friends Slurp fits all situations. Located right across the street from the ferry, there is a great view of the water. Also great for Naruto fans
My favorite ramen spot on Long Island ! must try their pork-buns these alone will make you go out of your way again and again Not to mention their ramen is even more amazing ! The SLURP CLASSIC is my favorite. Well worth the ride. Did I mention it s so adorable ! 2 people for under 40 bucks easily :)))
If you're from Japan or have been to Japan and you're missing the authentic Japanese ramen dining experience, this place might be for you. The service was very friendly and impressively fast, and there restaurant was packed with people. For me, it wasn't that much fun. There was no way to eat the food I ordered with the tools I was given. The noodles were way too long and the chicken pieces were way too big, and neither of them could be cut down to an edible size with the side of that spoon. Once I did manage to get something almost bite-sized into the spoon, it would fall out into the bowl, splashing all over my shirt and the table. In addition, I thought it was a little expensive, $14 for a bowl of soup and a cup of soda. I'm glad I tried this place, but now I know it's not for me.
AMENDMENT: I have been back twice and loved it each time. I had a rice bowl that was very tasty and some dough buns (one pork, one chicken) that I loved.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Food comes fast even if it's crowded. However, when it's crowded, don't expect to be able to easily find seating for groups larger than 4. The place is cramped but cozy, and the service is stellar.
Absolutely the most amazing, authentic, succulent and flavorful ramen I have ever had.
I had the Slurp Smooth and the Classic with chicken subbed out for the pork! This was in two different sittings. It was so good the first time I went back again! =)
So far the only good ramen I have been able to find on Long Island. They even offer rice bowls too which is amazing. Really fun location in Port Jefferson with lots to do.
The broth is salty. Definitely does not compare to the ramen places in the city. Not bad for LI. The noodles were ok. The pork definitely was not as good as the reviews indicate. He also press a slice of butter on it to make the broth creamier. It was too overpowering. Though a good start for LI bit definitely not there yet. have had better. Will I go there again? Let's just say I will not go out of my way to go there.
Its is small but they are very organized. Food is always top notch. I always get The Smooth Bowl and a pork bun. Can't go wrong. They have kids bowls also. You won't be disappointed!!
The service is superb, even when it's crowded. The food is always amazing and a great value for the amount of quality they put into it. It's a great setting for dates, or just a quick bite. I would highly recommend Slurp for anyone, even if you aren't particular into Japanese food. They do it right!
I ate there a couple years ago when you could eat inside. I got the classic bowl and it was delicious. When it came out of the kitchen it was warm and it did not feel like it was sitting on the hot plate for a while like in other restaurants. The staff was very attending to my needs and I know staff don t like to hear people complaining about them so that is why I am complimenting them on there amazing service. these people need a raise that is why I am giving them 5 stars.
If i could give 1/2 a star i would. My boyfriend and i went to slurp Thursday night. We ve heard great things about it, and we will never return. It was impossible to get through the phone line to place an order.. our food wasn t labeled. We didn t know what broth went with what.. we had to read the menu and taste different broths to figure it out. The eggs in the soup looked fake.. i order a rice bowl, with some fried chicken In it. The chicken wasn t even edible, i wouldn t even call it chicken. I only ate the white rice in my meal. My fork couldn t even pick it up. The noodles weren t like ramen. My boyfriend was sick all night. We ordered 5 soups. We threw away 3. I would save your money and buy $0.50 ramen packs and make it yourself.
Love the food and atmosphere, we wish they could expand into next store to allow more seating as they are popular. Though when needed to take out, the food is still delicious! We already tell friend and family about Slurp.
The reason this place is always so crowded is because the food is *on point.* Every time I have come here, and it is often, the food is flawless. Divine.
Decent ramen spot for students! Prices are okay not too much and it is filling. The set up is kind of confusing at first. Its like of like a fast food spot where u order your own foot at the counter but they bring it to you and you toss out your own trash and bring the bowls to the shelf. It gets crowded at certain times but the wait isnt too long.
I admire this restaurant very much. It has a different spirit. The meals are good. the service is efficient and the team is courteous. The pay is fair. I definitely recommend.
We enjoy hanging out. Last night we went to this excellent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a lovely evening there with exceptional cooking and a well-trained crew and a talented cook. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we will no doubt go again soon. Highly recommended.
Really good food I really like the slurp Yuzu and the fried chicken is extremely good. There is also free drink refills on soda if you are into that sort of thing
Decided to take a ride and try the Ramen. Rated it 5 stars because the service was quick and friendly and the food was outstanding. I had the curry Ramen while my wife has the original and my children had 2 kids orders each. They really need a bigger location.
Best restaurant in the area, for sure. Went there so many times with my friends, it's so good that I advertise for free. Fast service and the taste is awesome!
Really good ramen, everything taste fresh and hot, and the service is really fast. The shop is tiny, there's always a lot of people and sometimes finding a seat is difficult. It's a very satisfying meal and will fill you up.
Excellent ramen and a fun experience. If you don t mind being amongst overcrowded tables of SBU students then this is a must. The broth is perfectly seasoned and you can add the typical additions to your ramen. Their steam buns are really delicious, too. They boast a wide selection of Japanese soft drinks if you re looking to try something new.
Very good and very vegetarian/vegan friendly. The noodle are nice and firm and the broth is delicious. You get a decent size portion for a really cheap price (especially considering the area). The parking lot is pretty small and kind of difficult to get out of, but definitely worth it!
Incredible ramen and pork buns. Service is top notch. Reasonably priced. And you can get bubble tea there and also a tea place within 100 feet of slurp. Amazing place. Highly recommended to anyone the likes being happy. Lol
Awesome traditional Japanese food!! The portions were more than filling. The ingredients were fresh and the service was impeccable. The owners were so friendly and we're walking around talking to the customers. The whole experience was wonderful!
Best noodle place around here. The soup with multiple layers of flavor tastes great. So is the texture of the noodle itself. Together, they makes a wonderful bowl of noodles.
This place is usually crowded and the parking lot is way too small, however their Japanese style ramen is delicious and the wait for your order isn't too long. You can order your food to go which great because you may have a long wait if you want to eat there. Call before you go to find out is they have table space for you, or if you should just order to go.
