Genuinely loved slurp at first but went back when they opened up since the covid outbreak. The food quality was significantly worse and some of the workers would come into the waiting room (pick up orders) with no masks. It actually pretty heartbreaking since I lived this place at first ;(. Hope things get better

Consistently excellent food. Happy staff who always say hello and goodbye. Clean restaurant and staff never give an attitude when I ask for free tap water. Everything is inexpensive for the quality and quantity given. I recommend Slurp Classic or Smooth. You can ask for different broths or toppings and switch for free. If you're hungry ask for extra noodles in the beginning.

I always love getting slurp. Best Ren in the area I do say though I want them to reopen indoor dining for them. It is even better in person. I give it an 8/10 for take out 9/10 for when you can eat there either person. Get their curry ramen.

OUTSTANDING!!! Tried several different styles, and it's really hard to say which is our favorite because they seriously are all delicious!! If I HAD to choose, I'd say the Spicy and the Classic but honestly you can't go wrong with any of the ramen options - the broths are so full of flavor and the stuff that goes in with the noodles.. just... YUM! Now, let's talk BUNS! Wow. I've always been a pork bun girl, but helloooo veggie buns!! OMG they are so freakin' good! Since we live an hour away, we had to try a couple of rice bowls too and.. the hawaiian bbq chicken bowl was amazing, as well as the pork bowl. SOOO FLAVORFUL!! You must try Slurp Ramen! Oh and did I mention how sweet and welcoming the owners, Atsushi and Francesca are? Such beautiful people who really take pride in their business. Please remember that during COVID, they are only able to offer take-out, so be sure to stir/fluff your noodles in the broth before enjoying! Can not wait to go back!! =D

The staff here are well mannered and kind, they ask if you're enjoying the food and make sure your experience is enjoyable.
I think the head bowing is cool as well.
The food is great, had the slurp smooth, recommended by the staff and my friend since this was my first time here.

Pro: Friendly staff, Great food, Nicetc seating, and clean.
Con: None.

Keep up the good work!

All the employees are continuously sweet and accommodating whether or not the volume of customers is high. Small location so seating can be limited, however the wait is never long. Plenty of different flavor options and the taste never disappoints. For a long time I refused to pay money eating out to get any type of pasta or noodle dish, and often I think people assume ramen to be cheap - but what you get here is really amazing! Definitely worth checking out.

I don't know what they put in my classic full-bodied tonkotsu ramen w/succulent pieces of pork & a buttery, halved egg, but keep it coming! Broth is so creamy. What a cool find in the middle of Port Jefferson

I've eaten Ramen in NYC, Upstate NY, and San Francisco and nothing seems to beat Slurp. I got the Basic Ramen and I have to say I love the broth the most. I think the prices are a smidge high and the amount they give you is a little small (good portion for me, but for hungry men...not so much) but the quality is amazing. My friends rave about this place and I know why! I'll be visiting more for sure! If you like Slurp, really try out Ocean 88 as well in Port Jeff!

One of my favorite places to eat on Long Island, great food, kind staff and nice atmosphere. The only critique I could give is sometimes I wish there were more menu options, but what they do have, they make exceptionally. I wouldnt even take a star off for that.

Slurp ramen is a great little place to grab a quick lunch. No frills dining area. Great prices and fresh food. Friendly servers. In the heart of Port Jefferson. Close to the ferry and the brewery.

The fried chicken bun! The fried chicken in the Smooth bowl!

Can't say enough about how much I enjoyed the chicken here. The noodles aren't thick like some other ramen places, so they're easy to eat. But I guess that's more of a preference thing.

Either way, loved my experience here and will be back.

Oh My! I waited forever for such a fantastic ramen place! The noodles were perfectly cooked and filling and the broth not from this planet! We ordered second without hesitation. My husband and I will visit frequently. Bravo!

Slurp is hands down the best ramen shop on Long Island! The ramen tastes just like it does in Japan and the Karaage bowls are phenomenal. The broth is so smooth and rich and the texture of the ramen noodle is incredible; just thinking about it makes me miss it. No wonder it s always packed full and we always have to wait over 15 minutes to get seats. They also have ramune and other Japanese drinks which is so hard to find on Long Island. The owners and servers are also super nice! I highly recommend this restaurant if you re ever craving ramen or just Japanese food in general!

The staff are always so friendly and the food is excellent! You are allowed to substitute for almost anything, just in case there is an ingredient in the ramen you don't like. They also have great rice bowls as well. Definitely worth stopping in if you're in Port Jeff.

Been going to slurp since they opened up it's a great spot with good food the owner used to always be on top of the place and make sure everything was running smoothly. Lately I've been noticing the food quality going down and the customer service as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant. It's a shame I hope they come back and get on the their A game again.

Fast, clean, extremely tasty. It's a very good place to eat at however keep in mind because it's such a good place it is almost always full of other people. You can expected to pay 10-15 for a meal & drink (very much worth the price)

Huge fan of the rice bowl - I'm not a ramen guy but my girlfriend loves it, so this is a great place for us both to go. The chicken was delicious and the rice as perfectly cooked. The sauce was A+ as well

This place is delish. It is fast, delish, and affordable. Trifecta. Tried the curry ramen noodle bowl, Hawaiian bbq rice bowl, and the calamari. All delish. I would definitely like to come back and try some other dishes.

I got the sweet slurp. It's salty, but not unpleasantly so. I don't like egg, but the staff was happy to substitute it. I also got a pork bun, which was very delicious. I plan to bring my friends back here to try it again. Enjoyable overall.

I really love this place it's one of my favorite places on the island to eat and even after eating here I want to come back the next day. The staff are attentive here and sometimes a little too much extra and enthusiastic about their job, but they do a great job at keeping things moving. The one downside is the limited space and the parking is annoying

My Asian friend told me I had to come here. Don't get me wrong, its good ramen but I definitely have had better locally. I found it to be very salty and unbearable towards the end of the bowl. Chicken was deep deep deep fried with mainly dark meat and its a tiny place in a tiny town that can get a little much sometimes. I was hoping for something amazing but it was just about average.

WOW THE VEGAN OPTIONS REALLY KNOCKED ME OFF MY ROCKER! I SLURPED AND I BURPED AND I MADE MY SON ANGRY BY VOTING FOR SWEET LITTLE DONNY IN THE GENERAL ELECTION. I MISS HIM. CALL YOUR PARENTS THEY REALLY LOVE YOU.

For my money, I dine here everytime I'm looking for a quick bite in Port Jeff. The service is consistently fast and the food always hot. I think the only time I've ever waited longer than 2-3 minutes for food was once when I arrived right when they opened and they weren't done cooking everything. I myself am partial to the rice bowls but the soup is solid too. They even have vegan options if that's your thing.

Absolutely enjoyed the food and I'm looking forward to more menu selections as time goes on. We tried the Slurp sweet with beef and the slurp classic with chicken and loved them both. There was so much flavor in the broth and when we are finished-we wanted more. Truthfully, this restaurant is a breath of fresh air and I am glad to say that we have a new place to take out from for lunch and dinner.

Once you are seated, the food is brought out to you within minutes, no matter how busy the place is. It's fresh, steaming, and tastes really good. Don't expect a super-fancy service, but if you are looking for food that is good for the taste buds as well as your wallet ... all without compromising on health, then this is definitely the place to visit.

Foods ok but the place is way too small and they pack you in like sardines to maximize customers at the expense of comfort and ease of access. They really should take over the vacant space that used to be the sushi restaurant

I love Slurp so much! It's one of my favorite places in the area and it's a place everyone should go. Try anything on the menu, it's all good. I have yet to find a dish at Slurp that I don't like. It's a good place to bring the kids, grab lunch, or eat dinner with friends. Very casual environment.

Came here having heard mixed reviews about this place, and wasn't sure what to expect. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food came out quickly, and there was an area for you to turn in plates once finished. It reminded me of service in a Panera, so it's primarily a place for a quick meal. The Ramen itself was good, though nothing close to a place like Toto in NYC. Having said that it was definitely the best Ramen i have encountered in Long Island, the broth was very flavorful and meat was tender. I was surprised that the noodles were so thin, but it didn't matter to me since the taste and texture were good. Great place to eat so long as you want a quick meal, though there is not much seating so try to beat the crowds.

Truly, the best Ramen place on Long Island!! We have been coming here for about 1 year and we have never been dissapointed (unless they run out of Tomato Ramen!!!) The Spicy Ramen would be our second option ,with close behind, the Classic Ramen. A must add would be the Slurp egg, cooked to perfection and extra Garlic Chips. While your at it, try the pork, chicken or Veggie Buns. Delicious!! I would recommend this to anyone who visits Port Jeff Village.

This place rocks. Reasonable pricing and the food was excellent. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Dining room was clean and efficiently laid out for quick turnaround. Food came out very fast. The place is packed for good reasons apparently. I will definitely eat hear again if I wanted a quick good eats. Btw I had the curry ramen.

This has to be my favorite and most frequented place to eat in Port Jeff. Though there are limited menu options, it is not difficult at all to find one that you adore. My personal favorite is the Slurp Smooth, which has to have one of the most authentic shoyu broths I have ever eaten. The steamed buns are also delicious, and there is a wide selection of drinks to choose from, from imports straight from Japan, to simpler fountain drinks. Note: if you have issues with sodium, I would recommend the Slurp Fresh, which is comprised entirely of vegetables and is a good vegan option as well. Even if you're not particularly a fan of Japanese food, Slurp Ramen is a place that you've gotta try at least once.

Fast-casual ramen house. Decent sized portions, a meal and drink will run you about $15. Mention dietary restrictions to the servers! You can make your own custom dishes so it's easy to come up with vegetarian/halal friendly options.

Best ramen you can get out east on the island. They have a fairly diverse selection with something for everyone, if ramen isn't your thing they have rice bowls with different meat/vegetable options which are also very good. The staff is always helpful and very polite. If you're in Port Jeff it's a great place to eat, highly recommended

I have been visiting this restaurant since it was opened and the consistently deliver quality food every time. It is even a place I'll go way out of the way to grab food just because I have a craving for them. The Hawaiian bowl and sweet ramen bowls are my favorite but every time I must have their take on pork buns. Staff is very friendly each time in there and even when they are busy the speed of service is incredibly fast. If I had to name a con it would be the price but the taste makes it worth it and the location right by the water and a parking lot in Port Jeff makes it understandable. Overall I recommend you make this ramen place your new favorite eating spot in all of Port Jeff!

There isn't much ramen to be had in Suffolk County, but this place does an excellent job. I haven't seen a yuzu flavored ramen before and their tonkotsu is exactly as you'd expect and want it to be. Staff is very young and friendly, and helpful, willing to easily customize your order. Food is filling and fresh. It's a 30 minute drive from where I stay when I'm on Long Island, but it's more than worth the drive - the food was still warm when we ate it.

Favorite ramen shop since college.

Ordered a classic slurp smooth and my boyfriend tried the new Miso Ramen. Love their pork buns, cucumber makes it refreshing but the pork makes it savory in every bite!
