I had the yuzu ramen and I thought the soup was good for the first taste. However this soup was too salty for me to drink it. Overall, the toppings are nice, the staff was nice and the noodle was okay but the ramen was not a good ramen as a whole.

Inexpensive noodle dive. Food is really good. Order at the counter and they bring it out to you quickly. Servings are solidly good, service was quick and polite. Definitely going back and trying more!
Delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed my Curry ramen and fried chicken bun. Pork bun was ok, spice mix on the tables definitely elevated the slurp spicy flavor
The food is delicious. It's japanese ramen done so well. I haven't had anything I don't like yet. Nothing is unbearably hot when it arrives so you don't have to worry about burning your mouth with soup. The staff is so nice. It's a great place for a nice dinner in your pajamas.
Slurp is one of my favorite places around Port Jeff. I've been here many of times already and never once was I disappointed. Great food, every employee always has a smile on their face. This is a place that will make you feel at home and will definitely provide a great lunch. I would definitely recommend a try.
Delicious going down but bet on this coming back up and it is not pleasant. My friend that ate with me got sick too. Skip if you can so many other better places to eat if you're in Port Jeff. And not for nothing but I can make a more delicious meal with Ramen noodles at home for a fraction of the price...
We order the Slurp smooth and it was so tasty and great flavor overall delicious. Pork and chicken buns were small but packed with flavor. It's a must eat at in Port Jefferson!
Exceeded my expectations. There noodles have just enough bite and the fried chicken was amazingly good in the ramen. They handle the lack of seating very well and organized.
Slurp is an amazing Japanese Ramen restaurant. The service here is amazing and the food is authentic. The restaurant is always very clean and the service is fast. You 100% have to go here.
Slurp Ramen is an awesome establishment with a great format and amazing options, the food is substantial, authentic, and best of all, tastes fantastic. They have vegetarian and vegan options, the vegetable buns are great and the slurp fresh is a classic dish full of flavor for anyone with food aversions. The staff is kind and helpful, there is an enormous sense of pride amongst the employees and patrons alike to have such a specialty restaurant in the village of Port jefferson. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
For one year we always passing by this place.never thinking want to go inside to try.but this year decided to try it.drove all a long from babylon just to sit and try the ramen. Preparing the mental of asian food.most asian food prepared poor flavor.not real asian.
On the line...so many ppl!!! Need a number to get the table.waiting for 20 minutes.and finally can order the menu.
Order came and ...noodle looks good...broth smells great..and taste was on top the expectation.
Its a great food...small room. Nice staff.clean hair.they tight their hair.a little japanese style to serve guess.nothing infuse with other culture. Bang! This is the place. Come and try....you will come back again!
Excellent ramen bowls, but pricey. Spent $31 for two bowls & one drink. Place is VERY small. Parking is limited. Better off parking in one of the larger lots nearby & walking. Tables are not cleaned frequently enough, but staff are very friendly & courteous.
Slurp is a great spot for a fun lunch or a filling dinner. The ramen is flavorful and and the buns are delicious. Don't forget to get an extra order of noodles!
This place is amazing. Absolutely super delicious. If you love ramen or noodles for that matter than you have to give this place a try. Ive had their chicken and their pork and its to die for. Their pork buns are out of this world. A little pricey but not overly expensive for the quality and quantity of food. Been here twice now and will definitely be back again.
Simply delicious! The food is consistently great. My kids love it. We eat there and always order take out for later. We travel 45 there and back and it's worth it every time.
The service here is always quick. It's almost fast food but a lot healthier. The food always looks like the picture, and is always outstanding. I've had multiple dishes there on more then 1 occasion and I was never disappointed once. Replace gets busy. But since service is so quick, it's always constantly moving.
This is a beautiful place and is very simple and cute! The food was awesome, the Raman was better than the instant ramen I recommend more people to come! It has translations to everything, drinks are amazing, and the servers were so kind!
Decent food excellent service. Super friendly people. Quick service. We ordered tofu and veggies in a curry broth. Broth was a bit heavy for the ramen.
Everything is fast paced, which is awesome. You're not waiting 45 minutes for food, and you're seated quickly. The staff is very friendly, even in their rush hours. I've worked in food service and I know thay it's very hard to maintain a cheerful attitude. If you have $20, stop in, get some ramen and a pork bun, and enjoy the night.
So I must say I'm spoiled. My first true Ramen experience was at Ippudo Manhattan. After having experienced that Ramen, everything is compared. Slurp does a very good job of creating a cool atmosphere with good food to boot. I tried the spicy Ramen and the flavors were good, but not excellent. I felt that there should have been more broth in the bowl and more heat. I also tried the pork bun, which was excellent. Overall I was very satisfied with the meal and will be back when I'm in the area.
Used to be 5 stars but they have been slacking alot. Barely any chicken in the stuffed garlic gnats now. Saw 3 workers wearing bandanas not covering their mouth and nose in the middle of a pandemic in my opinion they dont take the pandemic seriously
This is my favorite one and only ramen place. Extremely good, flavorful ramen with amazing broth. Affordable and tasty with lots of different options. Staff is always nice and attentive. Also child friendly place to eat :) I will be coming again in the future :-)
I normally love Slurp, but after my last experience I don't think I'll be purchasing anymore of their products. I came to get what I usually order, but was shut down by the girl taking my order as "they don't sell the broth anymore." In the More
Wonderful place and super nice customer services !! I love to eat there even though the food is very expensive. The only reason I am giving 4 star because they put a lot of salt in all dishes and I need to bring water with me all the time when I go there. But other than that, they are prefect.
Delicious ramen and rice bowls at reasonable prices. Service is fast and friendly. I'm deducting a star because my last takeout order was missing the meat from the ramen order.
Great place for ramen! My boyfriend and I both had the Slurp Classic and were very happy with our food. The service was super friendly. Food came out lightning fast! The place had a really cute atmosphere and they had sodas in quirky Japanese flavors (the yogurt cream soda was surprisingly good). The pork belly in the broth was delicious and the eggs were perfectly cooked. My boyfriend says he wishes there was a place just like it in Chicago where he goes to school. I definitely plan on coming back in the fall and winter for a nice hot bowl of broth and noodles :)
Best ramen you can get around here! The broth is nice, but I don t get why sometimes the eggs are fully cooked while sometimes the egg yolk is still running. Also, it s my first time seeing pickled ginger added to ramen! Is that a thing?
I got the Tonkotsu ramen (slurp classic). I ve tried the good ramen places from multiple regions and I believe this is the best. The broth was so rich and flavorful, and the ramen was the perfect texture for me. 10/10 would recommend, I gotta have it one more time before I leave.
Best Ramen Ever! I'm not a fan of red ginger and they let you sub it out for a different topping. I usually pick the extra egg. I'm here at least once a week and now for the summer they are open on Monday too!
I went there with friends however, I am not into Ramen, but this place is definitely off the hook. It's so good I had to go twice for lunch. The first day I had the soup with chicken and the second day I had the rice bowl with chicken. The BUN with any meat (I had the chicken and the pork) are out of this world. I also had a calamari appetizer. We have not had a bad meal....I will return whenever I am in Long Island even if I have to go out of my way.
Best ramen I've had in New York, end of story. Menu is small but I've had them all and loved my experiences. The other food options are nice but feel more like sides if you're a big eater. Venue is not big so groups of 5 or less is ideal. Not too much atmosphere so come for the food. They have authentic Japanese style sodas and drinks as well. The wait time is always super fast so you'll enjoy your food with little to no wait. Def helps out Port Jeff.
Great Food! My girlfriend and I doesn't live close to the restaurant but whenever we want good ramen and chicken, we don't care about the commute to get to this place, well worth it
This place is a great hidden gem in the village of Port Jefferson. The ramen is excellent, the staff is very nice, and the food was prepared quickly. Even though it is a drive to get to from where I live, I will definitely be returning!
This place was awesome. Exactly what I needed on a cold winter day. The fried chicken over rice was spot on Japanese style and the ramen the wife had was great. Try the Hawaiian BBQ tofu also. Will be back
The Spicy Ramen was pretty good and I would definitely order it but unfortunately due to how far it is and the amount of things it comes with I would not make the trip again.
Typically Ramen comes with things on top, usually pork, seaweed, egg etc. But at this place everything is a la carte and not particularly cheap either.
However I recommend the pork and chicken buns. Those were fantastic.
I tried the chicken bowl and the chicken bun. Both were really good. I like the sauce they use on the chicken little spicy and sweet. Definitely recommend the chicken bowl.
Me and my friend are in LOVE with this place. We go here all the time despite the almost 45 min drive. Just makes us so happy and we go sometimes once a week at times when we can! We spend so much time there it s unreal, we will surely be heartbroken if this place ever had the misfortune of closing down. Just the thought makes me sad!
I like the direction this place goes with ramen, however I'm a little underwhelmed from the few times I've been here with friends. I never willfully suggested the place but I didn't dislike what I was having to say no when they all wanted to come to Slurp. I found there are better bowls of ramen and more meat in the ramen for the same price at other ramen serving shops nearby. I wish I could say more although I suppose that is what happens when you find a place with a limited menu average at best. When a particular menu is specialized, you should be the absolute winner of your category.
I arrive at this unique restaurant from time to time because I like the special air that is exist in this place. The team is highly welcoming and skilfull. The service is remarkablywonderfully rapid. Most important, the food they prepare is perfect. I came many times and I was always joyful. The payment is honest. I highly suggest this restaurant to all my friends.
I am not an adventurous eater and neither is my five-year-old son. Coming to slurp was my first experience with traditional Japanese Ramen food. I ordered the Slurp Fresh which has tofu in it. I added extra avocado and corn. It was delicious and very filling. And my typically peanut butter and jelly/chicken nugget eating son loved it too! He ate tofu for the first time in his life ...tofu!!! So needless to say we really enjoyed the food and have been back twice since Slurp opened.
Best ramen place on the island! Been going here since they opened a few years back, never disappointed. I highly recommend the Slurp Sweet, its not on their menu anymore but they still serve it. Its a teriyaki based sweet broth. My fiance and i go about 3 times a month :D
I would have to say that the service here is wonderful and the food is very low priced and amazing you can just not go wrong would suggest to everyone passing by.
The most delicious Ramen in the Northeast!!!!! Having lived in NJ, then PA, and visited the NE all over, I've always made it a mission to try ramen places. This place is hands down the best ramen place ever. The pork belly ramen is so succulent, melt in your mouth delicious! The broth is umami filled to the 9's that you MUST slurp it til the last drop. Truly a must try when you are in the area!
Truly had the most amazing experience here. The ramen is delicious and authentic. I couldn t stop slurping the broth. The layers of flavor were incredible from the nori seaweed to the red ginger. I highly recommend this place!
