Jason Gudzik Review of Slurp Ramen
If you're from Japan or have been to Japan and you...
If you're from Japan or have been to Japan and you're missing the authentic Japanese ramen dining experience, this place might be for you. The service was very friendly and impressively fast, and there restaurant was packed with people. For me, it wasn't that much fun. There was no way to eat the food I ordered with the tools I was given. The noodles were way too long and the chicken pieces were way too big, and neither of them could be cut down to an edible size with the side of that spoon. Once I did manage to get something almost bite-sized into the spoon, it would fall out into the bowl, splashing all over my shirt and the table. In addition, I thought it was a little expensive, $14 for a bowl of soup and a cup of soda. I'm glad I tried this place, but now I know it's not for me.
AMENDMENT: I have been back twice and loved it each time. I had a rice bowl that was very tasty and some dough buns (one pork, one chicken) that I loved.
