Tenants and landlord please do not use this compnay....I had a horrible experience with them, thye are unprofessional, unfair and have no sensitivity for the needs of their tenants. I strongly feel they are there to steal rents from landlords/owner. after 2 years of paying my rent on time, they harrassed me that they had no records that I paid for 2 months. they claimed I never paid Good thing I hired a lawyer that was able to get me out of this mess. I plan to move out and no longer ever rent out from this company again. My perspective is that they are a scam. Hope this educates the plublic so you dont deal with my negative experience. Worst of all, they never repond to repair any damages in my unit.

ALL the reviews for Sky Properties, Inc. are FALSE and likely provided by personal friends. This property management company is a FRAUD and applied my grandmother's rent towards a different tenant and for the past year, we have been trying to get her money applied towards her account with NO success. After reporting this to Western Union, we filed a fraud claim. But in an effort to expedite the process, Yesenia, assured me that if we put a "stop payment" on the claim, she would ensure the money would be refunded appropriately. She ensured me she would send me an email confirming this and we would get our refund by Friday. It is now Tuesday and her promises were all empty as she did not follow through on anything. Unprofessional and unaccountable. I am now re-opening the claim and will be filing a Better Business Bureau claim as well. In the interest of fairness, I cannot recommend this property management company. I advise anyone working with them to do their due diligence before any agreements are made.
Solidarity for tenants taken advantage of by this evil company. My friends who lived at one of the properties managed by this company experienced a break in and nothing was done about it. When they moved out, their deposit wasn t returned and was not given any reason for it being withheld. These big time super landlords have to stop taking advantage of their tenants! It s not right.

I lived 3 years in a SKY Properties, Inc building in west la. Laura and Kyle were the best property managers we could ask for. It was a pleasure to live in a place where we could call our property managers friends. Between Laura and Kyle, we could call or text them anytime and they were always quick, responsive, respectful and great neighbors. I'm going to miss them and highly encourage anyone to have them as their property managers.
Drew, The manager at the apartments on 2849 Waverly Dr, is honestly one of the best property managers I've ever dealt with. He goes above and beyond for his tenants and is extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. This property is truly a hidden gem and one of the friendliest buildings to live in, in LA.
I'm be living at Fulton ave. for around 5 years and my excellent manager Martha keep the building clean and nice she likes the plants and that make our building peaceful she take care of the property and our units as soon I call her for something to get fix she fix it the same day or the most the next day as person Martha turn her self no only to be a manager if no to be our friend too we can count with her she is a excellent manager as her experience said she be the manager in the same building for around 12 years that can mention the great manager that Martha is.
Jose has come to our apartment several times for repairs for various things. When he arrives, we often ask him to look at additional things and he is always extremely generous with his time and our safety. He is highly knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond to fix our home and ensure we are filled in on the way things work. Had it not been for him, we would not have realized one of our alarms was out. He is also a lovely person! Thank you Jose for all your help and your awesome vibes!!
SKY Properties is a wonderful, close-knit management firm. I've Worked with them on a few buildings now and they only seem to get friendlier and more professional with time. Honorable, trustworthy. Highly recommended.
Loved my time working for Sky Properties! Worked as a Property Manager for them for several years and created a great relationship with the owner and management team who were amazing to work with. I ve lived in my apartment in Silver Lake for almost one year and it s been an incredible experience. I give so much credit to our building s manager Drew and the head of maintenance Jose. I have only had a couple of issues pop up, but anytime I submit a maintenance request it is always tended to extremely quickly and Drew And Jose always makes sure to follow up. The building is kept well cleaned, and Sky Management has been so reasonable during COVID19. Highly recommend.

My husband and I live in the Cahuenga Place property and absolutely love it. Great and friendly staff - and responsive- that really cares about getting to know you. Adrienne, Carmen, John, Andrew, Alex have all been so great and friendly. Dog friendly and very accommodating - and very safe with someone always at the desk at night. We love the convenience of having parking, washer dryer, cable and Internet included -- and LA fitness membership! My friends can't believe how much I get for the price (along with location). This place has been such a blessing and made living in LA such a great experience. If you can get in Cahuenga Place I highly recommend it.
Worst property menagement ever! These people are thieves . We recently moved out and we were at the same location for over 6 years . Beware of them they will not pay your deposit back, they will try their best to find an excuse to steal your money. I am taking you to court very soon. Beware of it, they are SCAM !!!!!!!
Management sent to my unit to fix a leak. Leak was never properly fixed and I was overcharged by CONSERVICE for my water bill. Cleaned the unit, moved out half a month early and did a walk through with my manager with no issue. A month later my $1000 deposit was returned as Less than $10. Never dealing with these swindlers again.

I was so excited to move into Echo Lofts. However, on September 1st I walked into a complete mess. Before you sign a lease with this property, be sure to read all of their reviews not just the ones that are five-star. That was my mistake.
Before I moved in, I assumed that the property manager would walk through the space with the previous tenant to ensure the space wasn't left in the condition you see in the photos.
When I walked in and saw the holes, black fingerprints, a moldy air vent, water damage, and the grimy nature of the apartment, I was shocked and disappointed. These issues made it very clear that the person moving out didn't care for the space and that Sky Properties doesn't do their part to maintain their properties. Again this is disappointing, especially since they have these videos and perfect photos posted on YT and their listing pages.
They allow their tenants to leave their properties any kind of way. There is no form of accountability for the former tenants, and they will do nothing to make it right, even if it's as simple as painting the walls so that I feel comfortable paying a deposit on my new space. No one wants to get stuck paying for someone else's mess. Oh, and the deposits that are left on the apartment when a tenant moves out (they will only give you back your deposit if all occupants vacate the space. So don't count on getting your deposit back if you and your roommate aren't moving out at the same time) they will not use that to fix anything that a previous tenant left behind.
Let my experience be a reminder that pretty photos and videos and "5-star" reviews aren't the best gauge when it comes to how a company cares for its tenants and its property.

I started out with a Landlord that would update us on progress and maintenance. Also during this time they decided to re-pipe the entire complex for 3 months for 6 units. during those 3 months i had to keep my apartment open anytime for them to come in. No tact to it, plus 4 inspection into my unit for 1 job with a sign off and a rent increase. No inspection into water flow when two units are using the water at the same time. SO the re piping now makes all faucet flux in pressure and temperature. I have been submitting emails and tickets and my landlord now ghost me with no update. this has been going on for a year. I still don't know if the piping is done, who worked on it, what they did, when i should follow up. Every time i call i get "we'll look in to it" no return call. Maybe the gardener comes over and bangs on some walls is the only indication something happened
This company is the worst ever. I am a tenant and after asking them and reporting various times my problems they never responded. They have poor customer service, very little knowledge and think they can boss you around as a tenant. I will never rent from a company like them. After reading their reviews I can see that they are just money hungry. What is wrong with these owners hiring this company? I have told all my friends and family not to even bother in calling them...you will just waste your time.
UPDATE: I got a response from Lynn at Sky and she was super helpful, understanding, and most importantly timely. She already sent maintenance to fix some issues and I heard from the AC company and they are coming tomorrow. I literally was looking at another apartment when I heard back from Lynn and she solved all my issues. Looks like I'm gonna stick around. Can't speak highly enough of Lynn for coming through.
Don t ignore the negative reviews here. They removed their Apartments.com listing because the reviews were scathing. I have had countless issues with them. Leaks, mold, bugs, broken AC during the heat wave, you name it, and they are totally unresponsive. I need a third hand to count how many emails and text messages have gone unanswered. And now at 1330 N Martel we don t have a building manager and haven t for about two weeks seriously? No one to deal with the building s issues? And trust me, there s an abundance of them.
Countless empty promises, they told me a year and a half ago they were getting a fire pit for the backyard nope. The package locker would be set up nope. My bike got stolen and they would get me that security footage nope the security footage mysteriously disappeared.
They ve also been running some kind of utilities scam with a company called Livable that is pending a class action lawsuit, so just that they re involved in that is a huge red flag.
I could forgive so much if they would just respond to their tenants. But once they get your money, they disappear.
Also the office is closed on the weekend? You're dealing with peoples HOMES and lives. Even fast food is open more than you are.
This company is the definition of Nickel & Dimers don t stay here if you re someone who enjoys direct and transparent communication with the management of your living situation.

My roommate and I love living at the Troost Avenue Apartments owned by Sky Properties. The property is well maintained, safe, and always quiet.
Ellen is the best landlady! Every time I email her about a concern she replies in a timely manner assuring me that the issue will be resolved. I emailed her requesting a new stove and it arrived the same day!

This is a review of the property on Oxnard St. I love the place itself as it is clean and stylish without the feel and look of a large apartment complex. Martha is absolutely fantastic. Any time there is an issue, she is prompt to respond with a solution. She keeps the place clean and neat. The first time I met her she referred to the place as a community like family. It certainly shows. All in all, I would certainly recommend this as a terrific place to live in North Hollywood.
My nephew was in search of a studio apartment in North Hollywood and he was having lots of trouble finding availability. He was starting a new job right away and needed to secure an apartment and get moved in immediately. We contacted Sky Properties and they told us about a unit they had coming available in the next week or so. After visiting it my nephew decided it was the ideal spot for him. Carmen at Sky Properties was very cooperative and made the process move quickly and smoothly. She returned emails and phone calls right away. She even expedited the clean-up of the unit after the previous tenant vacated so my nephew could move in quickly. Cheers to you, Sky Properties!

I have been living at Perlita for a year and a half with this company. They are all smile and giggle at the office. When inquiring about a security door. I was not demanding one, or asking them to buy it and install it. "what would i have to do to put a security door on my apartment" in beginning of march 2020. A job that does not require face to face contact and could fall under their "weekly" maintenance guys
Depending on you get you might get at SKY your might get a wonderful response of " I don't know how your car being broken into has to do with your apartment unit door."
Then weirdly since the pandemic, the person gardening and maintenance seem to have gotten their hours reduced to every other week since the pandemic. A single person essential job, non face to face, hours reduced.
Also the turn over is so bad when you call to follow up on request. NO ONE know anything about the units or request.
Rochelle gave a very good and helpful tips on how to go about the new ways of paying rent. She was awesome!!!
I am a tenant at the(Oxnard blvd) North Hollywood Apartments , my experience here has been one of he best, I've been living here for a little bit more then a year, and I have to say that the Manager Martha is one of the nicest manager I ever had to deal with, she is so tentative, she always keeps the building clean, when ever I need assistant with something she answers my calls or text right away, I love this building, is clean, quiet, perfect for families. we had been looking around before moving into this place and managers were so rude, I was so happy when I met this manager, besides the apartment been very specious, it helps a lot to know you have a manager who is always on top of things, and very polite with her tenants. I would highly recommend this building for families.
I have lived here since 2017 Drew (our current property manager) has always been great.
I loved it here so much that I was excited to find an open unit for my boyfriend and I to take (I previously lived with a roommate). Yes, I moved apartments in the same complex. Why? Clean, quiet, great area, great neighbors, and well-kept grounds (including pool).
Since his arrival, Drew has always been very responsive. I know I can communicate with him easily and get clear expectations and timelines from him.
After moving to the new unit in March, our water heater broke and caused flooding in our apartment at 2am. Drew came down with a mop and bucket and had the issue resolved quickly. Had a creeper attempt to break in late at night, Drew had a fence put up within 48 hours. Other maintenance issues were also taken care of quickly. If there is a problem, Drew will solve it.
The maintenance crew is also great. Very friendly, and there's weekly cleaning in the common areas and stairwells.
We've really enjoyed our time here and I believe that having a strong property manager is part of that great experience. It's been so nice knowing we have someone on site to help facilitate change or repairs as needed - both before the pandemic and currently.
