Ordered a Tardisk 10 days ago and I ve not received shipping confirmation. Emails have been sent and have gone unanswered. Tried calling and that was useless also. Pretty lame customer service and wish I would have read Google reviews before ordering.
Perfect additional storage for my Macbook. Installation is quite a bit complicated but tech support Luiz helped me out until the final step. He responds quick and he is very patient. Thank you Luiz! :)
Outstanding storage upgrade, my MacBook went from a 128 GB to 256 GB, doubling my original HD it is now a breeze adding more photos of my family and friends to my laptop. Highly recommend this product.

i was having problems with my TarDisk because of a mistake I did when trying to partition my drive. I contacted TarDisk and didn't think i would get a response as it has been more that a year since I last got my TarDisk. But to my surprise they responded in less that a day.
I was having a lot o problems trying to pear my HD and TarDisk but thanks to **LUIZ** (Which btw was awesome, and and super helpful) and his patience, my Mac is now Pear'ed and ready to go.
Seriously I love this product and the company.I would recommend it to anyone.
I was worried that my computer might slow down because of the tardisk, but it has been working without any hitches--- psyched that I don't have to purchase another computer just for more storage (I do some graphic design so this is great for anyone who's working with large files often)

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE. I have been trying to get a response out of TarDisk since December 2nd 2018. It is now January 14th 2019. None of their telephone numbers seem to work, or the menu tells you to revert to their website, which is hopeless. To actually try to speak to a person seems to be impossible!
Luiz helped with the necessary changes to install on High Sierra. Super quick and very friendly. A+.
I bought this product to increase my MacBooks Pro hard drive capacity. The pearing wasn't plug and play for me as I had an encrypted hard drive and the latest version of MacBook Sierra. Fortunately the brilliant Luiz Carlos from support was able to guide me through the process of installing the tardisk under my particular circumstances. Luiz's directions were clear concise and to the point and timeous, getting back to me within the hour in most cases. Tardisk brill idea with slight teething troubles for my version of High Sierra.
The company could possible tell you that you have to turn off file vault to decrypt the drive as soon as purchased as this can take around a day and you could do it while waiting for delivery. Again brill support.

TarDisk approached me to advertise on my YouTube channel and supplied an affiliate link through which my sales would be tracked. After several months I realized I had been selling TarDisks but not receiving payment. I called the "company phone number" and all departments sound like the same unprofessional guy's voice, poorly recorded, and only ever his voicemail. I've left messages which have not been returned. It's been months now of me trying to reach someone who will issue payment for commission owed, and still nobody has bothered to help. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BEING AN AFFILIATE OF TARDISK, DON'T DO IT! THEY WON'T ACTUALLY PAY YOU.

First, I know NOTHING about Macs, but I bought one for my son about a year ago and he wound up not using it. A fried of mine (a member of a religious order) uses Macs, but his machine had only a 128 GB SSD, which was far too small a HD to meet his needs. The one I bought has a 256 GB SSD but I was afraid that he would need a 512. Began looking at the options. Discovered that upgrading the SSD was next to impossible and very costly. Then I kept looking and found Tardisk. Seemed too good to be true. Took the plunge after exchanging emails with someone at the Tardisk site (Luiz Carlos). He helped me find the right disk for the MacBook Pro I had and I ordered it. Came in, and it was a nightmare at first. Just could not get Pear'ing done. Running High Sierra. Finally, reached out to Luiz again. He walked me through the issues and was extremely patient. Number of options, but I chose the going back to pre-High Sierra OS. Worked like a charm, and now the MacBook Pro says it has a 512 GB single SSD. The fact that the extra space is off of the Tardisk SD card is completely transparent to the user. You need two things to be a successful company. A good product and great support. This group has both in my book. Great support after the sale is rare, and these guys have it. Thanks for being a solution to a problem and not a new problem!

I was having difficulties installing and Pearing my TarDisk, but once I was in touch with Murilo Gobbo from TarDisk Helpdesk it all worked out great. Very fast and reliable.
Had a little bit of issues getting it to sync but as soon as I emptied some space on the original HD, no problem with the install. Easy instructions and HD now is double the original. Another option if you don't want to replace your original HD.
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible customer service. I had an issue getting my referral reward for convincing two coworkers of mine to buy a tardisk. Not only did they not honor their referral policy, they sent me a fake screenshot saying that they were going to pay me through Paypal and months later, I still have not been paid. This is honestly the worst customer service experience I've ever dealt with, why have a referral policy and not honor it? I am very disappointed in the way this company handled this matter. I strongly do not recommend this business and product to anyone.
Been using this for a few years now with no problems! I had a general issue with my Mac that I thought may be related to Tardisk so they gave me instructions on how to check a few things. My Mac is all fixed (fix wasn't related to Tardisk at all)! I tried working with apple multiple times and my issue was never fixed.

Tardisk, or the worst thing to plug on his mac. Maybe it can double your memory, it is still necessary that you can still open an app after so your mac is slowed down. 150 ball in the wind and a mac has reset factory.
Very useful product! My hard disk was close to being full so I would have had to buy a new computer or move all my files or something else inconvenient, but TarDisk prolonged the life of my Macbook! It never falls out, it's very easy to install, and much faster than an external hard drive.

Very good product and good support. I bought a 256 GB TarDisk to upgrade my MacBook 2014. I must confess it wasn't easy to install it at first, principally because the software that was delivered along with the TarDisk wasn't meant for the version of my OS X (macOs High Sierra 10.13.3). However, upon contacting Customer Support I got hooked up with Murilo Gubbo, who guided me through the peering process successfully. It was a very big relief working together with Murilo. Good product, HORRIBLE SERVICE, and very hard to set up
At first I was confused. Was TarDisk the right choice for me? Would it make my computer better? Well all doubts were placated when my TarDisk arrived the day before my birthday. I was overwhelmed with joy when I opened the box and pulled out the product. I was immidiately immersed in computing Nirvana as I inserted my TarDisk seamlessly into my SD port. It's safe to say that my computer will never be the same thanks to my TarDisk. No longer will I have the hassle of dealing with my incompetent hard drive. Thank you TarDisk!

Bought my first TarDisk a few months ago. Price point is similar to others in the market that I've used before, but these guys are head and shoulders above the competition on service.

Ordered the 128gb version for my 13" 2015 Macbook, it came quickly, I had some difficulty pairing it but their technical support staff were super over email I dealt with a guy named Murilo, and he was very helpful so I followed his advice, and had it up and running just a little while later. Very happy with it.

We wanted to move our TarDisk from our old MacBook Air to a new one we just bought. I knew this would be a multi-step process and didn't want to mess it up, so I reached out to TarDisk's support. I ended up getting very specific instructions from Murilo, one of their support team members. He was very patient with me, quickly responding to my many questions and clearly explaining listing the steps I needed to do. I'm happy to report the "transplant" was successful! Amazing product! I thought I was going to have to buy a new MacBook, as it was full of work files and programs. I bought a 256GB TarDisk for my Macbook Air with a 128GB hard drive, and it TRIPLED my hard drive capacity! SO worth it! Doesn't compare to my old Transcend JetDrive.

Great product and fantastic service. I had some initial issues getting it to Pear so I called their customer service line for help. Left a message and within 3 minutes I got a call back. The support rep knew exactly what the issue was and had me send some information over to him about my Mac. He followed up with an email with detailed instructions and it worked flawlessly. This is what customer service should be like.
Luiz helped me step by step when I needed extra help installing on High Sierra. He was very timely and helpful. They could have had the up-to-date instructions though on the website. Not sure why it wasn't an option when first installing it.
Just wanted to put in a good word for Luiz Carlos. By the time I needed increased memory, I had already updated the MacBook Air that my wife and I share to the High Sierra OS. The TarDisk SD card shaped device had been manufactured to pear (integrate itself with the Macintosh HD) with an older OS. So I ran into a snag. Luiz helped me through the intimidating and tricky process. His mentioning the View Button and the 'show all devices' option while working with the Disk Utility feature of erasing/reformatting the TarDisk was particularly helpful.
Thanks again, Luiz Carlos! You helped me go from a distraught and frustrated dissatisfied customer to a very happy and satisfied customer.
And if you have High Sierra and are thinking about buying a TarDisk, you will probably need Luiz or one of his colleagues to guide you through a work around, also. But it will be worth it!
Due to the fact that my MacBook Air has High Sierra installed blocking me to install TarDisk properly, I had to contact the TarDisk help desk in order to have the issue solved.
Both Luiz Carlos and Murilo Gobbo followed me through the not so easy for me procedure not only in a very professional, but also in a friendly way that helped me to feel comfortable about the happy end of the issue.
Now my MacBook Air has a doubled hard disk space exactly as advertised at a very convenient cost.
I then strongly recommend TarDisk for its convenience and for the very solid customer support behind it!
