Some very very good coasters, some are just meh. Harley Quinn was closed again, so hopefully I can ride it next time I visit.

Night time in December. Some rides open, some rides under maintenance and repair. Lines are average. Overall good time
I enjoyed the rides however the food is expensive..
Had a lot of fun. Went during a weekday and the lines were totally manageable. Was super hot and I wish they had more filling areas like they did in the past, but the temp isn't their fault.
Its so fun but I don t like the dips but I m used to it
1. Bait and Switch marketing on ticket prices!
2. No way to speak to anyone in customer service without being in person at the park
3. Park is run down and feels old
Awesome place to have a great time.
Prices are very high but if you are there all day I guess you get your money's worth!
Kid friendly, tons of fun things to do, great food, something for all ages.
Half of the rides were closed on Sunday, March 8 due to "technical difficulties"
Lots of fun! Short lines, great food, great help! Loved it!!!
I've been coming to this park since the mid 80's and each visit is better than the last. It's amazing how this park can hold on to its history and still add new attractions. It's best to go Monday-Thursday as weekends get very busy. Food and drink prices are high but it's a theme park so that's expected
Tried to cancel my season passes after my year was up and was told I was still getting charged for another month even though I told them 2 weeks prior like the membership states.
The place was amazing. The only thing is that they don't open until 2 and close at 10. Also if you don't have a flash pass then you'll probably only have enough time to get on 5 (popular) rides due to the lines. That's not including how fast you walk and if you take breaks for food.
Not enough smoking areas and the ones they have are in the sun. No shade. We are still paying customers
Wanted to do Holiday in the Park, so, 2 days after Christmas the weather was nice. We have great memories from past trips there, but after this year doubt I'll ever go back. Took 2 hours to get into the park after being in the car line when they opened at 2pm.)
Once inside the park we split into 2 groups. One rode the Texas Giant (once), and the Titan (once), the other (with the 18 month old) rode the carousel (once) and the mini trucks (once) and stood in line for the justice league for nearly 2 hours before giving up (we weren't even close to getting inside the building where there was another 90 min. wait.)
We ate the cowboy burrito (excellent - $12) then headed to see a show. It was now 7:30, the show in the palace was canceled, the show in the saloon is now karaoke. Headed back to the front. Had to park way out west so waited 20 min for the shuttle (at least that was a ride we could get on ) he took us just past the picnic park at the entrance & said "last stop, everybody off" then we walked the other 4/5 of the way to the car.
It did seem pretty safe to me, and it wasn't family unfriendly like I've heard some have become, but even with season tickets, you're paying a bunch of money to just stand in line all day. Only reason to go this time of year is if you absolutely love big crowds, or standing in line.
More than half of the park (rides and concessions) is closed and everything is really run-down and unmaintained. Sad. The admission prices continue to soar but the quality continues to decline.
We brought our tickets online and they say on the tickets to pick up at will call. You get your baggage checked walk in the plaza and find out there is not one single booth marked will call. I asked three different employees where to pick up my tickets and one was rude and just brushed me off and told me to keep walking. The other one told me to go to the line and they will let me through. Got all the up there to be told that I was still in the wrong line and then had to go back to the beginning of the park to get my tickets. It was the most unorganized theme park I have ever been to.
Not cheap for a large family, but worth the investment. Make memories with your family at 6 flags, and years later you will love hearing them reminisce. A Six Flags over Texas season pass is the direct path to your child's heart.
I was there for about 10 hours and still didn't get to ride 3-4 of the larger rides because the lines were so long. No estimated times on any of the rides. Then the Joker was down, Mr. Freeze running at half capacity, as well as the log ride only operating one side. Food prices have jumped up to ridiculous levels. Every ride I saw except for the Hall of Justice needed sanding to knock the rust off and a fresh coat of paint. Fans for cooling riders waiting in line weren't running.
1st time here , paid $10.78 for hot chocolate mug with unlimited refills for the day after the initial fill every where in park was sold out.... Alot of the restaurants ran out of fountain drinks as well. Wish they would of opened earlier on the weekend yesterday amd today because 2pm only gives you barely 3 hours of daylight..
Half the rides were closed for our private party. We left after just 2 hours.
Idk about u but it is so peaceful the costumer service is awesome.the rides give u excitement and thrill it is so awesome
Super fun and cool place to visit for a fun time. Only problem is it's a little expensive for food and other things
The saddest thing in the world not to answer customer relations phone. Called all day long to get information even left messages for call back. No reply. Very poor service
3 stars only because of the mask deal and very few rides open
I only got to go for a few hours but the rides i rode were very intense. The mr freeze is probably one of the most intense rollercoasters there
What a joke this was paid $30 park $30 for a cup to be able to get refills all season and l complained to management about no rides for our 2 year olds the reason we came is for them they gave me a map and said here are the rides they can get on , well guess what only 2 of those rides were open all the others were closed so after 4 hrs walking around drinking coke we had enough we left very disappointed 5 hr drive to get here $400 on rental house never again six flags was a complete waste Sea World was so much better
This place has gone downhill, I think they are letting too many people in. The attractions are cool, but crowded, and the lines are long. Go during a weekday or in the morning for the best experience.
This was my first visit since a couple of years ago. I've always loved six flags. I've been to 5 different Six Flags theme parks and this has always by far been the best. This visit was not my favorite for a couple of reasons: 1- The wait times for the rides shown on the app were way off. For wxample, it said 15 minute wait for The Riddler and we waited 40 minutes. 2- Several of the rides closed for "mechanical problems" multiple times while we were standing in line. I don't remember this ever happening this much on my visits in the past. And 3- I noticed several aesthetically pleasing memories that are no more, like the waterfall that used to run in the line for runaway mountain is now just a stagnant, smelly pool of green water. The park just seems like it's getting a little run down. I think they should fix what they have before continuing to build new things. Also, why is Aquaman splash down and El aserradero closed down? Those rides were a pinnacle on hot summer xays. Anyways, still love the park and will continue to go!
Too damn expensive!!! Bottle water $5.50 you can do the math for everything else!!! You need a flash pass to at least enjoy the park.
My family goes here almost every weekend we can. Kids always have a blast. The Christmas lights, shows, and characters are awesome. It's fun just to walk around this time of year. We got the gold plus membership and certainly have got our money's worth. It's best to get the 6 flags app to see what the ride wait times are. Lot of different events to take advantage of. Dont go hungry unless you plan of spending a small fortune. Food costs about $13.99 per plate and snacks are around $8.99. I'd recommend the turkey leg plate. Its huge and filling. The tater tots with cheese and bacon are sooo good too. Even if you dont ride the rides it's still fun to see the street shows.
It was ok simply because I am not a fan of fright night!! My kids were too scared!! They ran and got lost because someone would not stop chasing them.
I would definitely go back! The park was big and so much to do.
It's a fun park to go to but every time I go I end up getting sick due to the black top. The black top makes summer10 times worse so just be prepared for the heat
It's awesome and great to be season memebers since we live close. We have lots of fun here
The lines were not to bad. The only complaint was some of the big rides were broken
I'm on my kid's post, just want to say that I work here. The park has something for everyone. I like most about my job is the families that come through our park. I love being of service to our guests, saying thank you and have fun. Using my scissors to cut off tags after purchase so they get a full experience of The Justice League, throughout the park and let's not forget our big boys, the Texas Giant and the Titan. Our water holders can also be used outside our park to hold an 8 oz water and sometimes a 16 oz water. Our merchandise is of the best quality and I personally feel our hoodie sweatshirts are the best. The park is always great for the guests but working here can have some ruff days, such as the heat we bare while still loving our jobs and patrons. To my families that come here, you make any hot day bearable when I see how happy your kids are, the parents and others who tell me they had a great time. This makes me happy. Thank you.
We are frequent flyers here during the summer. We have come to enjoy the opportunity to see the park for frightfest and also the holiday lights. They do a great job! Staff is usually very friendly. But be prepared to stand in line, sometimes for hours to get onto one of the popular rides. If you are going to visit 3 times or more get the meal pass and a season ticket. You will save money on food, tickets and parking. If not then save your money. Rides appropriate for all ages and risk tolerance. Great family entertainment during the day. We don't frequent the park much at night so I can't speak to how it is at those times.
Kudos to the park for placing sprinklers throughout on a hot day. Great rides. Not all attractions were working though.
Last night for fright night. Our family went we had a wonderful time. But alot of the places had ran out of food. We had. a great time.
It s a small amusement park. But it has good when it comes to cleanliness. All the rides need repairs as they re getting old and boring. The park just doesn t feel safe. And the kids that work there just don t seem to care about safety.
Batman and Superman were my faves! Had a blast! There are cool down water spray stations if its too hot for you. I'll be back!
I visited with a friend from out of the country, we where there about an hour when it started to rain. We checked the forecast for that day and no rain was planned. But this is Texas after all. So they closed the rides and shut it down. Now we spent $127 just to get in and got on 2 rides. They don't offer refunds or rain checks for daily passes. I was very disappointed in this. They could have done something for us. Sorry to say will not be back again.
I have a gold plus membership so on Saturday I brought my cousins and it was fun. The rides give you a crazy thrill.
I was a pleasure being there and spending time with the family
If you are going to go to Six Flags I recommend signing up for the membership. We have the Platinum and it works out well for our family - it covers parking which is usually $30/ visit and also provides you with a decent discount at the vendors in the park. Go early, around opening time, if you want to ride any rides....after about 12pm the traffic starts to pick up and the wait times get a little out of hand. Eat before you go as the food prices are high...at Johnny Rockets they have a family meal deal - 4 burgers, 4 fries, 4 onion rings and 4 drinks for $50...it tasted better than McDs, but I don't feel the value is really there for the price point. Don't fall for the carnival games and if you like pictures pay for the photo membership - it gives you unlimited ride photos - happy memories. For most it's a once in a lifetime trip, but for locals definitely get the membership if you plan on going throughout the year - ends up being cheaper than paying for a one day ticket.
Many rides were down. The turkey leg was so good. The refillable cup was worth it. I recommend buying it right when you come in to get your money worth. So you can keep refilling it.
Had some trouble buying tickets at the park, at arrival they had told me to go to another line to buy tickets faster and easier so I did, and I come to find out that the tickets I purchased were for another day. I told the employee who had helped me at first and they later told me I had to pay 5$ extra dollars to use them that day. But why would they tell me to go into one line when I could ve just waited in the main line and not waste time. Overall it took me way longer than if I had waited in the main line. But that was the only thing. Everything else was great the park was soooo much fun and safe. Definitely worth a visit again, maybe next time I ll just purchase a season pass or membership so I can get in quicker and have more time on the rides!
The BBQ chicken is to die for! Oh yeah, they have some pretty awesome rides as well. Love amusement parks at Halloween.
This place i come to every year when i step son is in town. he loves the roller coaster. i enjoy the food.
Tearing this Turkey leg up. Really disappointed that the staff could not make change. Meal was like 15.23 and I paid 20.25. Didn't understand to give me back 5.02. Called manager and he was just as lost.
Love this place especially when I can take my nice to the toon town rides and she can get on them. It's a great place. I like going when they have the themes going on..
I love Six Flags! There are a lot of people there of course but for the most part it is easier to get through the people compared to other states. It has a nice layout. And it's definitely great for young kids along with the adults and then finding rides to enjoy as a family is achievable.
Fright fest was awesome this year. It is definitely worth getting the VIP passes to bypass the line. VIP passes to the haunted houses were not needed on Halloween night though!
There are better amusement parks, but this still has great thrills, good food and is an excellent deal if you buy a membership.
Really Beautiful!! The lights and music were on point tonight! LOVE holiday in the park
To many lines & bad service also expensive but fun
I took my 3 year old son for the first time and he absolutely loved it. He s been asking me when we are going back ever since. Park is still in great shape, the employees are helpful and nice and there is fun for all ages. My wife and I already bought season passes. We will be going back again soon.
Fun but if you go in a very hot day prepare to boil or be cook alive while waiting 30 to 45 in the long lines. Texas have nasty summer days
Having grown up going to Kings island I was not super impressed with six flags. They have some good coasters but the tickets are ridiculously expensive. The park is also very difficult to navigate.
Roller coasters, food and entertainment. What's not to love
We like most everything. Services are sometimes lacking. Fiesta Texas is cleaner.
Big turtle somewhere but very fun, went there for orchestra and had a blast
The last few times I have been this summer have been a huge disappointment. Many rides are not open, the restaurants open late, and my overall experience with employs has been terrible. There would at least be a notice letting you know the ride is closed so you are not walking from ride to ride only to discover everything you are interested in riding is not open, and there is no way to know why, or if they will open anytime soon. Roaring rapids, the Log ride, the cloud bouncer, Battle for Metropolis, and many other rides were all closed and my kids were disappointed we walked around for over an hour and were unable to ride anything they wanted.
Not a place for anyone with a 40-42 waist size. Seatbelts dont buckle, no extenders, no ride. I completely understand safety, but we wasted so much time and money only to find that my friend couldn't ride 75% of the rides we tried.
Very nice for kids and family fun but I think they need to clean bathroom more often .
It has been many moons since I have been here but I can attest that this is the best amusement park I have ever had the pleasure of visiting
Happy 6 flags has reopened but the lines are longer than ever. Social distancing stinks when it comes to amusement parks. Gave them 5 stars for doing the best they can given this unprecedented time.
Best theme park I ve ever been to! And I ve been to many. Amazing food and rides! Always feel safe and seatbelt never feels loose!!
It used to be so much better when I was a kid. Now the management just does not care and if you really look at the place while your there, you can tell. It's really ran down and over-priced
They are lucky they have some of the best coasters in the world.
2 stars for the thrill rides (when they are open). Everything else sucks.
The family and I always enjoy this place the only issue that I have is every time we go there is rides that are not operating due to a malfunction or testing which is not a very bad thing I guess I wish they would get their stuff together and us be able to enjoy every ride every time we go since we are members of six flags other than that we love going my kids love going and I enjoy this place very much
Went there on 5/20/2019 very disapointed.I have going there since 1978 and this is the worst experience i have ever had. 50% of the rides were not in operation because of no staff to run them. More than 50% of the food places were not open. If they had informed me of this on their website I would have avoided going there that day. Me and my family felt cheated we stood in long lines because of the few rides that were open. I paid full price to use half the park. On top of that some of the restrooms were nasty and in need of repair. We got to ride 5 rides in 7 hrs.
I visit every year this place and is always improving for good. Thanks 6 flags.
I love sixflags and so does my whole family we go on sundays
I love coming here for an afternoon of fun. We have season passes and we love coming here. We had a picnic outside on the on site picnic tables. We had absolutely tons of fun and enjoyed the rides. We rode the Texas Giant and the Roy Rogers Scream, I loved both rides very much. We will return again.
Decent park. New Texas Giant, Mr. Freeze, and shockwave are awesome roller coasters. The rest are okay. This is a middle of the road park. The operations are decent, the scenery is decent, and the park staff are nice. The park in San Antonio is certainly way better, but this park is okay. Great place to bring a family.
I loved the Sky Screamer the most because it has the most thrill on any ride I've ever ridden!
Great today, not crowded, and employees were very pleasant.
Greta fun for the whole family! Be prepared to spend your day there.
It's been years since I've been it was great but the prices are what u think they are oh yeah but u can still bring food and drinks in a cooler picnic style if u wanna save a few I mean a lot of money all the staff and security was super polite and helpful I recommend a visit great place to bond with the family and friends...
LOVE. This park is the best and we had soo much fun. Holiday in the park was the best sooo pretty I hope we are able to go every year. We went 3 days in a row. Had seasons passes. Lines were only bad Friday night
It was really fun for the entire family! The food was expensive but good. It will be best to pay for the skip the line pass when more busier times
It's an amusement/theme park. How can it be any less than 5 stars? However, Six Flags is a top quality theme park. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The characters are great with all guests. The food portions are always more than enough to keep hunger away and they have a variety of cuisine (personal favorites JB Smokehouse and Casa de las Banderas).
Lots of fun for the whole family! I went on a Friday for College Day with my twins school. There were several other schools in attendance that day. When I first arrived and saw the large crowd I assumed the worst, but luckily I was pleasantly surprised. They were very well staffed to handle the crowd.
The employees were friendly and greeted everyone with a smile. The lines were not too long and we got to ride several rides, some even more than once. The park was very clean including all restrooms and restaurants. The food was a little pricey but it was fresh and a good size portion to fill you up. Overall I had a wonderful experience and we'll be back soon.
There customer relations at the park is a joke and takes way too long.
This is a fun place for families to go but the only downfall is since they downsized the rides people who are plus size can no longer fit into the rides so unless you're a size 0 you can't ride the rides because two years ago I was able to ride the rides and I'm a size 16 and now I can't ride them because they downsized so thanks Six Flags for telling me I'm fat by making the ride smaller and I'm still a size 16
You cant tell which line is for which ride . The place in the evening was out of control for fright nite too many people a real concern for safety. Bathroom lines were ridiculous disorganized. Dirty park. My family purchased a season pass and will not be back
Definitely need to plan it out better and not spur of the moment
