Paid in advance to save $ and it ended up raining for a few hours in the afternoon. They closed the entire park for the rest of the day and did not even give a partial refund, even though by 5 PM there was no more rain/thunder and the park was supposed to be open till 10. Paid full price plus parking to ride two rides.

Six Flags
If u like amusement parks u are gonna love this one because of the rush of the titan and plus timescales are delish
I wish I had anything good to say. In my 6 hours here, I have only had the chance to ride one ride. I have stood in 2 lines where we were sent away due to the rides being shut down, 2 lines where there was no movement after 20 minutes, multiple major rides are down for the day. A girl in line near me passed out due to heat exhaustion or heat stroke, and the first aid team is out and about a lot. There are way too many people in here, too few rides open, too little shade, and nowhere to get more water if you're already in line.
Got there earlier, lines were short but got longer as the day progressed. Most of the lines moved quick, staff was polite and the park was clean. Some rides need updating but it's nice to see that there are improvements and new attractions.
Such a great park! I love going here almost every weekend! Great employees! Great experience!
Six flags over Texas is fun for the whole family, it really has rides for all aged groups. Although usually the lines are long during the weekends and mostly during holidays. I also enjoy the different types of themes they have. Even though the price is high, it's worth it, if you go the whole day or half the day. They also have restaurants and shows and best of all my son just stared working there and he loves it so far ill post a picture if you see hem say hello he he he. he is awesome best son any father could ask for.
I love that it is a fun place to bring my kids. They love it and enjoy the park. It has something for everyone. I have been visiting the park since I was 3 yrs old and I am now 45. It has gone through many changes. What I love most is the atmosphere.
Plenty of rides for the whole family. My 5 year old kiddo is 42" tall and there are plenty of rides for her. My 1.5 year old also has plenty of attractions he can go on. Plenty of fun stuff for adults too. We went to Holiday in the Park this year and it was a lot of fun. We will be coming back!
Awesome time with the family. We went for AISD night. Lines were short. Not crowded at all.
A fun place to take the grandkids. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes. I'm sure you will have a great time as we did.
We love to go to Six Flags over Texas. These are the roller coasters I ve grown up with and they re still my favorite to this day. I have never bought their season passes, but I was intrigued when I saw their membership deal. For $6.99 a month (if you buy it for 4+ people which I did) it is totally worth it. If you go even twice you are getting your money s worth. Also if you get the membership you don t feel the need to do everything in one day because you can always come back. We like to come to the park early and get closer parking so that we can leave the park and eat lunches we packed at their picnic area. Saves us a lot of money and gives us a break from the sun. Staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions. Thanks for always being awesome!
The FUN, Love THE RIDES. MEETING OTHER PEOPLE HAVING FUN
Great thrills!!! Awesome experience, delicious food and refillable drinks
I am a frequent Six Flags season pass holder and glad that even during COVID I was able to visit the park and was confident in the safety precautions taken to ensure the spread of COVID. I also have peace knowing that I was outdoors the majority of the time while on my visit at the park. COVID has put a damper on fun and I can appreciate six flags making the best of a trying time to bring smiles to theme park fans such as myself. Temperatures are checked upon entry, sanitizer is available all over the park and at the individual rides and most importantly a mask policy was in-force. My observation was at least 90% of the crowd I saw adhered and it is important to note that obviously you wouldn't wear a mask while eating/drinking. Capacity at the park was limited and I think that contributed to one of the best visits I've had if you take into consideration the number of rides I went on in a single visit and the shorter duration of the lines. The park was not fully operational (booths, restaurants, stages, etc.) but that is to be expected when making the safety of the park patrons a priority. Social distancing in line was good however at some points in line people were in closer proximity but nothing that would cause concern. I had a blast getting away from the real world for a bit and will be looking forward to putting more smiles in the bucket.
Great place to take the family or go with friends, right now during the pandemic the lines are rather short so no need to waste your money on a flash pass.
I love Six Flags Over Texas so much! I have been to Six Flags all over the country and I really love this one because it is never to crowded and the rides are so much fun. Also, they keep it incredibly clean and whenever a ride needs to be fixed, they are very fast. I got really dehydrated and ended up throwing up and the workers were nice enough to give me a water bottle for free. I cannot wait for my next visit to Six Flags Over Texas, and I hope to bring some friends along with me.
Great amusement park for thrills. Must like roller coasters and scream rides. Lots to do and long lines depend time of year.
Went to Six Flags for Metro @ 6 Flags by T Mobile Friends day. I was so embarrassed by so many rides closed: TX Sky Screamer; TX Rodeo; Conquistador! Didn't ride Hall of Justice due to new rules of no hat or bags. The rule wasn't the problem but the notice was-LEAVE ITEMS AT YOUR OWN RISK. The day was okay but would have been much better if the rides weren't closed.
Passes are the only way to see the park it allows you to enjoy the park and take your time, and food discounts.
Fright Fest was so fun can't wait to go back next year
I love this place. Every single time I go, the same thrilling feeling exists.
Have a good time here . Be prepared for lines here . Don't wear anything that can fall off when on some of the rides.
Season passes are great if you plan to go at least twice in a 12 month period. Also, flash pass is great during the day, not needed as much as people left for dinner. We had dining pass as well, lunch, snack and dinner.
Over all a great park. The family has been a few times, this was my first visit. Very busy, which I expected, but get here early and get some good parking, and be ready to go. There were a few rides we just stayed on and was able to go again because there was no line at the start of the day. The lines in the afternoon were insane. I would say, though, as one reviewer posted earlier, you can tell that the employees hate this place. No smiles, no thank you, and no personality at all.
Went to the holiday lights, was very disappointing. I was in town so was excited to see the lights, half of them were off, some of the attractions were missing and pretty much the only thing that saved the night was the theatrical play "All I want for Christmas", no Santa claus nor elves threw out park!
KIDS WHO WORKED SECURITY SEEMED TO GO ON SOME POWER TRIP MAKING US FEEL VERY UNCOMFORTABLE
The absolute worst. We were in town on business, we had a day off decided to spend it at 6 Flags Over Texas. Bought flashpasses and we were good. Went on the Joker and was stuck on the ride in the air for 15 mins. Can we say we were scared out our minds. The movie final destination came to mind.... When we got off the ride, we asked What Happened?????? The little girl said I don't know... no supervisor to meet us to say anything.... we had to ask the custodian to get someone right now. All they wanted to do was to give us a flash pass we already had... more over after an experience like that, I asked DO WE LOOK LIKE WE WANTED TO GET ON ANOTHER RIDE? Didn't like the way they dealt with this situation. My first visit to Texas and I will never be back to 6 Flags Over Texas. I never had this problem at Six Flags Over Georgia. PS went back to the hotel told my husband about it, only to discover the same thing happened the year before 7/20/2018 and they were stuck on the Joker ride for 25 mins and the ambulance was called. Smh! Never ever!
We have the diamond elite membership which is supposed to give us everything 50 percent off but a lot of the items here like the stainless steel bottle dont come half off this is a scam.
Terrible experience. I had fond memories coming as a child and certainly didn't remember anything like the cluster I experienced today. It took an HOUR just to get to the parking lot and then another 30 minutes once at the gates to get into the park. Just phenomenal how poorly planned and managed this park is. No staff members telling people where to go or where to park so it was basically a free for all essentially just to get in - wasting a total of nearly 2 hours from the time we arrived to the time we started lining up. Then there's no signs telling you ride wait times so you're basically stuck waiting an hour to two hours for kiddie rides even longer for things like the Titan or Batman. Supposedly fast passes are required to enjoy the experience and wait times are closer to 20-30 minutes but I don't think I should be paying Disney prices for such a poorly managed, unclean, old-looking park. Water, food, and parking is actually MORE EXPENSIVE than Disney. And overall quality just feels super cheap and less than half Disney's...and I'm no fan of Disney. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
It was great, fun for the family. Love the Christmas lights. Had an amazing time.
Great family fun.. Awesome food. Got passes to keep going!
Always loved Six Flags, and the security was helpful in a lost article off one of the rides
It was so hot and there werent alot of 0laces to cool off at all.
I ve gone to six flags multiple times and I have a great experience every time there are so many places to get food and water and most of the times the lines aren t too long
Get the fast pass. It will vastly improve your ride day. Love this place!
My family owns the membership passes. My other in law bought our family season passes. Because I didn't cancel our memberships with 45 days of the bill cycle, I am charged 2 more times on my membership. Reached out to Six flags about on my problem with technically being double charged and they said they will not due anything about this matter. If you plan on making a purchase for a friend or family member like they recommend, I suggest reconsidering.
Met extended family for their summer vacation of fun for the kids and had a blast of a time. Lots of fun, games, food and drinks. The rides was just an added bonus which we took advantage of, need more time like that with the family.
I love Six Flags. They have great rides! And even though it can be hot, it's still fun. Plus they have rides with water that cool you down. They have rides for almost any kind of person.
First time there....liked it more than six flags in california.... the season food pass is a great deal and getting food using the kiosk is genius !
Great experience! The weather that day was cloudy and overcast so it was great temperature wise and the lines were not long. Not to many folks that day. Food was overpriced but if you get the free refills cup then it is definitely worth it. There are some new rides and if you havent been in a while it is worth it to go. Went with Coke discount coupon and was alot of fun.
The great variety of rides and staff moved expeditiously.
Very disappointed in six flags. We have a membership with them and they closed a month before ours expired because of CoVid. They gave us the month back when they reopened but wouldn't let us use our dining plan which we paid for. I went to guest services to resolve it and got really bad customer service and they still didn't give it to us. I called the following morning to their corporate office held for a very long time just to end up having to leave a voicemail. I left a voicemail and it's been 2 weeks and they never called back. As far as the park they are not enforcing wearing mask which they said they would. I'll never give them another dime.
I don t ride as much as I used too as a kid but this place still brings back that spirit of a kid in all of us. The scents, the scenery, the sensations are unique to this theme/ amusement park. Sure the lines can get long. Sure it can get crowded. But there is always a fun time to be had. My advice. Get a seasons pass and wear the best walking shoes you own. You re welcome
Six Flags over Texas is a fun place 2 go. Most of the rides r awesome. Roller coasters r the best, just 2 short, like Joker. Titan is such a rush. The only thing I have a problem with is the grounds, some inside. Mostly out side the gates. As much money as Arlington brings in, could spruce up the grounds around Six Flags. Alot of construction going on right now around the park. A couple of rides were not operating, like Harley Quinn.
Not near enough shows and similar forms of entertainment. The rides are fun but they need more for families with toddlers and younger with AC.
Very nice, but long lines are difficult in Texas heat
I am disabled and can no longer ride most of the rides however I go with family from time to time just to spend the time with them. Aside from one off day I am always surprised by just how helpful the staff is and how accommodating they have been I even got a season pass last visit so for someone who cant ride the rides I think this says a lot.
It's too crowded and that bring a friend makes it worse doubling the lines. What's the point of being a member with perks when it's a inconvenience everytime you attend.
Huge park, lots of rollercoasters this is actually the first six flags ever so that was cool to know, I would definitely try it he Texas giant roller coaster ant the titan but there are at least 20 good rollercoaster in this park get ready to walk, have fun!!!!!!
I love to find rides with intense thrill, and the Texas Titan more then satisfied me
This is my favorite place on the planet. I noticed they are open but limiting the number of people. I wish they would do that all the time. Guests would be much happier with shorter lines and it seems like the management could plan things a little better with a known capacity. I wish they would at least consider letting this limited admission policy continue indefinitely.
Best ever experience.. this was our first time on such type of park and found it worth visiting.. if you are vegetarian, you may find little tough to get good test food.. overall nice experience
Would be five stars if the raffle personnel weren't so persistent, and all rides would work, or give us a time that they are going to close them for inspections! Overall though, very fun!
I remember going to this place when I was a teenager about 20 years ago, and it was really fun despite the long lines. I just took my kids here for there experience, and I will never do it again! It is way too crowded, and we waited as long as 2 hours for one ride. From 12 - 6pm, we only did 5 rides. The lines are just rediculous. Lines to eat, lines to drink, lines to use the restroom, even long lines to not have to wait in long lines. I'm sure the rides are great, but you won't experience even half of them in one trip. We'll do Frontier City from now on. The rides aren't as big, but at least you can ride them all. Well, until Six Flags Corp ruins that park too. Six Flags could take some notes from the Disney parks.
It was AWESOME!! No lines no wait Masks and sanitize Six Flags really cares for our safety and theirs!!
Six flags is always a blast. We have become members and it is so worth it for the discount you receive while at the park. The day we went it was raining but a lot of the rides were still open and they have the game area that you can check out. Also I recommend if you are not a member and already get a free drink bottle purchase one this will give you free unlimited refills the entire day which will save you a ton of money. Overall the park is big and overpriced but you expect this when going! The food they sell is pretty good after you have been walking and standing in line for hours I think all food tastes pretty good just because you can sit down and relax! Plan your day well when coming and you can get through most of the park in one day
Love this place been going ever since I was a kid. Rides are fun and good is great I especially love the new addition of chicken wings and ice cream floats amazing. Food comes out pretty fast
I think I may have gone here when I was in the boy scouts about 1970 but I'm not absolutely sure. I was real impressed by the real big tower that if you dropped a penny from it was so tall it could kill someone apparently. I didn't drop a penny. I probably rode some rides. I didn't get sick so I must not have ridden the roller coaster as the only time I rode a roller coaster in memory was in Myrtle Beach, SC where I almost threw up. Anyhow I thought the place was OK as far as I can remember.
What fun! Employees dressed up in spooky costumes and scaring people (myself included) was a blast.
We went, a lot of the rides were closed due to rain warning. But in general, there were more places to eat than rides that looked fun. Not cheap for a day pass either. Overall a disappointing day, but giving three stars to not penalize for weather
I understand the safety standards for Covid-19, but do you really want to walk around in the hot sun while wearing a MASK?!? Went the VERY first day of reopening and nothing was ready. Couldn't even get a soda cuz their CO2 was out... lol.
Love coming here as much as possible. The games are hard to complete but not impossible. I'm an extreme adrenaline seeker and there are rides for me. Although my best friend doesn't like those kind of rides she still has a great time with the rides she does get on.
By fa rrd the best park I've ever been to. The only problem I had was I waited in line for about three hours for the Texas Giant and they said I was too big to ride the ride. Other than that, it was fun.
So many rides where closed! And there were three rides that we stood in line which shut down while standing in line (el dioblo, run away mine train, la vibora). In all, we were only able to rider 4 coasters from 11 am to 6 pm. No a great time!
Super expensive. Recommend going on a day it's supposed to rain . We will rode all the rides in one hour. Awesome experience!
Just as expected from a Six Flags amusement park: incredibly fun! I especially enjoyed the roller coasters. If I remember correctly, Mr. Frost is the name of the one I consider the most amazing one.
The membership packages are a great, more cost effective option to enjoy the park.
Obviously a great place to bring the family. If you buy tickets online or through your employer program the tickets are cheaper. A must. Had so much fun and I have a spinal injury and was still able to do alot. Absolutely loved the foam party for the 4th of July!
Would give 5 stars but we waited at the gait for an hour because they messed up our tickets at the gate, after paying 500.00 for our passes. It was nothing short of nerve wracking.
over all my family of four had an okay time at this location but the workers were not very friendly at all. I know it s many of yours break from school college or your other job, but you could put a smile on. The main reason why I m leaving such a bad rating is because we did ride the Frosty s snow hill seasonal ride. Our youngest who is six was let down first and then the next ADULT who went down was three to five minutes later. My kid was crying at the bottom because the girl on her side wasn t paying attention and the guy at the bottom wasn t paying attention. It definitely worries me that the workers aren t concerned about children safety of being alone in an area.
Great amusement park, lost both of the stars because of the traffic to get to the park. (Took an hour to get the last mile.
We have been to this six flags 4 times and each time it is worse. The bathrooms are gross, none of the employees are happy, and the food isn't good either. We have been looking pass all this because of the rides, but this time was just disgusting. We went on the Titan and my husband sat in a seat that smelled like vomit and we told the employee and he said HE COULDN'T UNLOCK THE BAR so we could change seats! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! THAT IS JUST PLAIN LAZY! SO GROSS!
They need a Trolly or a tiny train. All that walking made me not want to come back. Loved the rides, but the food and drinks was far too expensive.
Lots of fun. Plan to go for the day. Enjoy the shows, kareoke, food and rides. Drink plenty of water. It's hot in Texas
Its a great park love evert ride all these people giving 1 star probably haven't even been!
We just got a pass and had a great time with our family. It's a little crowded because of the great deals they have but I'm happy they are doing well. I reccomend the meal plans, it's pretty awesome being able to eat there and seeing a 25 dollar meal zero out. Great place for families, excited to go back
Super fun place to go with the whole family. Friendly staff and overall great.
Very fun place but either bring a lot of extra money or bring your own drinks because the drinks a a little over priced
It's fun if you got in inexpensively. Rides need maintenance and lots of stuff isn't open. Still, the Giant is awesome!
Very little wait times during Spring Break. Water rides closed so kind of disappointment there..
Six Flags Over Texas is very fun we recently got the diamond pass and the food is so good and thier turkey legs are huge and they have so many rides!!!
so much fun!!! and with social distancing and limited capacity we didn't have to wait in any lines.
Very good rides.Plenty of different rides for everyone. Food available inside to buy.
We have season passes. Went 1 hr before closing and was able to ride 5 rides!!!! Never will I go during peak hours again. You have to wait forever just to ride 1 ride. I also thought they closed later but apparently they have changed their hours from summer hours to fall hours(closes at 8)
Just way over priced for being as packed out as it is. Not worth it.
Today was short rides , fun rides just not as good as six flags in so cal
