HANDS DOWN this is the best place on earth I love going here and riding the Titan but if you want to have stomach dropping experience or just having fun in general this is the best place to go. Just one last thing I just wish they where open more

I love this place. Great to go to during summer with friends and family. A little pricey for a family of six but overall it s safe and they do everything to make sure you have a great time. Ride assistants are very nice. Overall, if you want to have a fun day, go here.

We got here early to minimize early wait times. Here we are 5 minutes til 11am and alot of the rides aren't open yet. Even better, management can't explain why. They blaim it on the electrician and he blains it on management. Why pay their prices and their upsells for this treatment?

Started going to six flags over Texas when I was just knee high to a grasshopper, those are the days good fun my mother took all of us up there being a mother and father rolled into one to see the look on her face and a smile that she had when she brought us up there and bought us our tickets and let us loose in that place

Nice theme park with generally friendly staff. We are frequent visitors because of their well-priced season pass options. Great for a day out to enjoy some thrilling rides or a relaxing day of walking around and people watching. Has something for everyone.

I think they need an upgrade on rides. We stood in line for 3 different rides for about 30 minutes just to hear sorry the ride is broken. I may return in future but as of now i will not.

Loads of fun during the summer when the weather is not too hot. Very large theme park with amazing rides, arcades, shows and plenty of excitement for children, teens and adults to enjoy.

Prices for everything, including entry fees are pretty ridiculously high, and food is typical fast food and very overpriced. There's a few restaurants, which are also very pricey and with average food. Eat before you go, and bring a backpack with drinks and snacks if you can. Lockers are expensive but useful if you want to enjoy yourself and not carry everything around.

Weekends are insanely crowded with extremely long lines, so plan ahead and go early during the week for the best stress free experience. As can be expected from theme parks, people from all walks of life will be here. Crazy loud kids with little to no supervision, creepy men and less desirables and low class people, so keep your eyes on your children and valuables at all times.

Save a good amount of money beforehand, get a Flash Pass and Season Tickets. You get discounted drinks, free entry all season long and get to skip the long lines. If you plan well in advance and follow these tips, you can be assured a good time and excellent summer memories.

The rides were a lot of fun, but several shut down due to mechanical issues so we didn't get to ride everything we wanted to. Considering I've been waiting 46 years to do this I was still pleased with the experience.

I give this place a one star rating thanks to the fact of the extremely aggressive staff and the fact that my grandma took time off work and bought me a ticket to 6 flags because my little brother had won a ticket thanks to reading and being as sweet as she was also bought us the meal passes and we only used one meal because we were all tired and we went back to the ye hotel for a break. We came back later and wanted to use up the snack and meal passes remaining only to find that you can no longer use the passes after 8 but could still purchase with cash/ credit. Too all of my fellow peers wanting to come to six flags don t spend money on their food passes don t they are scheming cash horders with no control over themselves.

We had a great experience! I would've given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the inconveniences of flash pass entrance locations. Very hard to navigate. Besides that everything else was great!!!!

Clean and well ran. I would do the dining pass and membership you plan to go more than once. With the dining pass, you get a cup for the year that includes free refills, snack, dessert and a meal. When most meals are 15 bucks and a bottle of water costs 5, it will pay for itself. It was a little disappointing for opening weekend and some of the major rides were not open. There also seemed to be quite a few rides going in and out of operation due to issues. But in all a nice amusement park with a good choice of rides.

So disappointed in Six Flags. They had 1 staff working most kid rides on an extremely busy day. This led to extremely long lines and grouchy staff. We were there for 4 hours and only managed to ride 5 kids rides. We recently went to The State Fair of Texas and got through just as many rides in less than half the time on a swamped weekend day - because they were staffed appropriately. Waited in line for a drink 20 mins, got to the front and was told they were out of ice and water bottles. Asked for 2 large drinks and was told after I got them that they don t have any cup lids in the park... so then I had to awkwardly carry 2 open drinks and handle a toddler. Overall paint looked faded and in need of refreshing and the place seemed poorly managed.

ENTRANCE: Have your pass ready. Pay attention to ALL open lanes and as long as your not behind someone with some kind of issue- you should be good :)

PARKING: If you have a Diamond Elite Pass, reservation is key and it will make your parking experience a pleasant one, other than that, good luck. It gets crazy crowded.

COST/ ADMISSION: Daily tickets are expensive. There are always deals on Season Passes that includes both Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor WITH parking. There are also membership that starts at $6.99 a month. Definitely worth looking into.

FOOD: It can get pricey, definitely look into the dinning pass- it truly pays for itself after a couple of visits. We have the Premium Dinning allowing us to get Lunch, Snack and Dinner every visit and comes with a refillable cup.
Food options at Six Flags: turkey leg, corn dog, hot wings, burgers, brisket sandwich, pull pork sandwich, chicken salad, bread soup bowls, pizza, tacos, Chinese, chicken strips, funnel cakes, churros, shakes, dip n' dots, dole whip ice cream, blue bell ice cream, sopapillas and more!
There are Coca-Cola machines around the park where you can do your own refills.

CLEANLINESS: They do a pretty good job. The Arlington park is just old and definitely needs an update.

RIDES: Depending on the days, the lines can be over an hour wait, then on others no wait. I suggest using the single rider. We do this sometimes and if you don't mind riding in different rows, its a faster option.

STAFF: I love it that they hire teenagers and provide them with such a wonderful opportunity to learn life skills, responsibilities and so forth. HOWEVER, should I have one issue with Six Flags, this will be it. It truly frustrates me how lazy some of these kids can be. Six to ten workers, chit chatting, and not one to come over to help. Disappointed, I hope that they don't carry on their habits onto the next job, but NOT all workers at Six Flags are lazy, there are those who are grateful and actually enjoy their job- love seeing those!

OVERALL: It's a FUN place to visit, good food, just try to enjoy it all.

No rain checks? Are you kidding me? It's raining all day and you expect us to enjoy your puddles? What a rip off! Be sure to check the weather before purchasing tickets for a trip here because you'll be sad you spent the money... like me.

One of the better six flags I've been to so far. Definitely go on a weekday to prevent having to wait in line for a long time (we went on a Friday). We were able to get all the rides knocked out before dinner time, even after getting a pretty long lunch break. Bring a friend free was definitely nice as a season pass holder and we also got to go in an hour early to get on popular rides before more people showed up.

You can ask for a water cup and every vendor will happily give you ice cold water for free, so no need to spend money on drinks unless you want to carry a lot of it with you. Get the red cup if you're going to drink flavored refreshments all day. Also, my friend brought a pocket knife on accident... Instead of having to go back to the car to leave it, the park security kept it in a safe container and gave him a voucher to pick it up on the way out. I've never seen that done at any other six flags. I also noticed that most, if not all rides had a bin/basket or a small pouch in the car itself to store your items in. In comparison, Six Flags Georgia makes you use their lockers which you have to pay for to go on rides... Kudos for Texas.

Overall the park was kept clean and most of the employees were very friendly. It was in the mid to upper 90F, so it was definitely not pleasant while waiting in line.... But ice cold water and relatively quick queue made it less tiring throughout the day. What would make this park even better is to install more mist fans in the queue line to make it less miserable while waiting to get on the ride.

Disney s red-headed step child. Dirty park, but the rides are maintained by good people. They do have a good reliability there. I just wish they would spruce up the place. San Antonio SF is much much better.

Six flags over Texas is pretty good for families and groups. My family got the season membership with a meal pass. The meal passes were $40 per person and it includes lunch and a snack. The 12 month membership comes out to $90 per person for our family of 4. We alternate between Hurricane harbor and six flags both membership and meal plan are valid at all six flags parks.

There are quite a few rides for thrill seekers and those less inclined like myself. Our family goes on thursdays to avoid a large crowd which makes the waiting more than reasonable, we've never waited more than 15 minutes for a ride.

The meal plan is actually worthed if you get the membership and plan on visiting even 5 times during the year. The portion sizes large enough to share, and there is a decent variety of food choices.

The negatives include cleanliness, solicitors and the staff. Parts of the park and dirty, many areas smell really bad, and the staff aren't the most people friendly. All in all, our family has really enjoyed our weekly outings this summer.

i m repulsed by the experience i had i was trying to be a cool kid and wear heelys for the second time and when i arrive some ginger took the wheels to my heelys. what are you feeding your workers. y all are squares except for the guy that let me have wheels the first time.

If you don't have a membership, get one. It saves you money all over if you go just a few times, we live about 45 min away but we've been coming every day I'm off with my kids so far this summer. Weekends are busier, expect to wait in lines, during the week the longest wait time was at justice league for 20 min but it's shaded. We don't go to the big big rides since my kids is little, 4 and 7 and while my seven year old is 52 inches, they doesn't want to ride the bigger rides alone. My 4 year old can ride any 42 in rides. Bring sunscreen, a small backpack, sunglasses and a baseball bat so shade you. If you come for fright fest, some things can be scary for the littles. Holiday in the park is so nice with the kids and they have s more kits. But if you have a membership, we have the diamond elite, we get a free s more kit and after that it's all half off. Lines are shorter in the evening. There is also an app if you have a pass or a membership and it has all the freebies or discounts listed. With our particular pass, we get VIP parking right at the very front. Hope this helps!

Love to go there, it is better to go early and ride as much as possible rides before it gets crowded and lines get long, especially during the summer when everyone is on vacation. I went there during fright fest and holiday in the park. The Halloween decorations are good and you might get a good scare or two. Christmas lights are awesome. Food is way overpriced as well as the merchandise they sell, if you eat outside before going to the park, you will be good

Leaving the park three hours early still had lines to get out of the parking lot, frustrating and time consumimg, park is loaded with great rides and long lines. The lines seemed to shorten up close to closing.

Went on the last day of the season. Crazy busy. But if you go in knowing what to expect the park itself, the atmosphere and overall experiences are great. Always try to arrive early to avoid crowds and the brutal heat in the summer.

Must go place in DFW area. Lot of activities for all ages. Particularly kids love it. Almost all rides cover in entry ticket prices. Bring Cash for other fun activities, and as expected food item price is high. Six flags employees are very professional, friendly and very helpful.

How did my family get by before our season passes? Seems like a black and white movie of our lives compared to now. Bring back that funny dancing man and catchy beat in the commercials...we miss him. He is still on YouTube, check it.

Very expensive, but if you want to go regularly, get their diamond elite membership, and you can get in for free. Also plenty of other perks go along with it. Much fun. Food drinks, rides... what else do you need?

Great park and rides foods over priced and all the kids that work there don t have any respect and kinda scary they have kids in school or kids that horse play to much that s how people get hurt need more responsibility on there part

the rides are good, the wait for them isnt bad, everything is expensive but the people working there barely scrape above minimum wage. i paid nearly 20$ for a burger meal that was less than edible, stuff from the dollar menu at mcdonalds is scores better than the carnival meat they have there. i bought a cup that was 20.99, 'taxes' made it over 30$.

The park was not to bad. There was a lot of rides shut down and restaurants and games. We paid $30 to park and $80 for one adult ticket. We wanted to spend all day, but about 4 hours later we road everything that was open so we went home.

This was a great amusement park. I had so much fun there. The food was great too! I would give it 5 stars, but the teenagers working the rides were rude and not that friendly. No smiles, attitude, and rude tone of voices. Other than that, the place is awesome. Just, if you volunteer to work there, at least act like you re having fun doing it. You volunteered! Fake it till you make it.

We came all the way over from Central Missouri and were seriously disappointed. Came in on June 4, paid $30 parking.. went to the booth that said "TICKET SALES" where the man at the booth informed us that they don't sell tickets there, and our best option was going online. After going online and purchasing two "coke pass" tickets for $136, we were scanned and told that they aren't valid. After our third sweaty line waiting, we were spoken to and told that our tickets are 3 day advance. To be completely honest, it was hidden in the fine print that they were 3 day advance tickets. However, the fact that six flags keeps their *no refunds or exchanges* policy so strictly after taking your money is shameful.

Tl,dr: Read the fine print when buying tickets, the greedy organization will show no remorse for small and expensive mistakes.

We really enjoy going to six flags now that all our kids are big enough. We got season passes and meal plan passes. This has saved us a lot of money and allows us to go more often and leave if it gets too crowded. The staff is helpful and we have not had any troubles on our last five visits. Holiday in the Park is set up now and you can find characters for photos dressed up for Christmas. The only thing that has been a problem is that several rides in Gotham City are often not working, so check when you get there to see what is operational.

Absolutely love this place. The rides have really long lines sometimes, but the wait is worth it. You will really have a blast! My favorite has to be the Runaway Mountain. I advise you to save for the season pass rather then buying the one day pass. WARNING: do not buy the Chinese food at Chopsticks! it s disgusting.

It's fun but way overcrowded. There are many fun things to do, and rides like Titan, Batman and Riddler merit at least a visit. It's simply so hard to get past the crowd and nastiness of the environment. I'm in no way a germaphobe but, I found my world closing in around me at the feel of my hand on the crusted and sticky line rails. Yuk!!! Shoulder to shoulder in hour long lines with people coughing, sneezing, throwing up...

Prices used to be Fair. You'd buy a season pass with parking pass at a fair price. Then, enjoy the season at your own pace.

Now, EVERYTHING has been broken down in to passes. There's a season pass, meal pass, game pass, line express pass, etc... All at a higher price than what an all-in-one season pass used to cost. Rip-off!

Anyways, we expect high prices at places like this, right? But at what point does higher prices become "too high?" That's for you to decide I guess. For me, Six Flags Over Texas has broken through that threshold long ago.

You'd think with these prices, they'd be able to keep a cleaner park.
