The higher the faster the more upside down and breathtaking drops there's nothing better. Enough said.
The higher the faster the more upside down and breathtaking drops there's nothing better. Enough said.
The park was dingy. It wasn't terribly clean (anywhere) and to say the staff is indifferent would be a massive overstatement.
The rides were great and my kiddos didn't care about much other than that.
So much fun! I loved the redesign of the kids area, it's great for younger kids and families. we were having so much fun, we didn't realize we had missed our projected lunch time by 2 hours. I appreciate that there are rides and attractions for any and every age. I loved going here as a teen, and now love taking my pre-school age children. Get a season pass and make it worth the money!
Being from California, I was used to the six flags location stationed there. I don't know what I was expecting before coming to this one but I was definitely not disappointed! Just as many laughs and trills as I remember having at Six Flags with my family and friends.
Although Six Flags is usually an enjoyable experience for me and my friends, the last time I visited, I got the flash passes so that we could potentially ride most of the rides that Six Flags had to offer. However, we were very disappointed to find out that when we started reserving our place in line for various rides, about 50% of the rides that we wanted to go on were shut down when we got there, or were soon shut down due to some troubles early on in the opening of the park. The rides that we rode were fun, but 3 stars for having such a small selection available.
I walked into the Six Flags Over Texas park wearing shorts over a one-piece swimsuit, not knowing that they are not allowed because this is my first time attending a Six Flags park. I was escorted by security to purchase a $10 T-shirt and "cover myself up." At this point, I am not upset about the policy - I completely understand why they are doing this: "Making no exceptions."
However, while walking through the park, I see multiple women wearing only sports bras and panties. The imbalance of policy enforcement is frustrating since these scandalous women were overlooked and I was already dressed appropriately, yet I am the one that gets singled out. I find this extremely unfair and frustrating.
I have written this complaint to the official Six Flags web-page because I would like for this to be addressed to the Arlington Six Flags security. I would like for the policies to be equally enforced to prevent any further frustration and humiliation among attendees.
Whether this complaint reaches the right people or not, I will refuse to carry out any business with the Six Flags franchise from now, on. I will no longer attend Six Flags parks and I will no longer waste my money on cheapy merchandise just to "cover up" whenever it is unnecessary.
Thank you.
The times online aren t consistent with the times upon arriving to the park. My friend and I went twice on two different days and the park was closed way before the online times. Have to do better
Never have I ever tried a rollercoaster before in my life and I guess in 6 flags I ve had it for good! Amazing amusement park having the best rollercoasters worldwide. They also have one of the oldest one ( full made of wood) , sounds and looks scary but trust me that s the real thing. Queues ofcourse are huge but that testifies park s reputation. I would suggest you not to eat before visiting or preferably eat light! I had to take some breaks in between the rides , it was just too much to handle. Overall a great fun day!!!!
Love bringing my kids and having fun together and at Six Flags Over Texas, we do that !
Exuberantly non-stop crazy fun and foodbis fairly great with the dining pass
Fun time although a couple of the coasters where down for my visit...
I really love visiting here, it s so much fun (especially Christmastime)! So many great memories have come from my time here:)
Great weekend getaway for us. Close to home and fun rides. Enjoy Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park also!
A fun amusement park with a ride assortment of rides. The food is all subpar. The traffic getting into and out of the park is horrible. They really need to improve traffic flow.
Pack an ice chest and save tons of money on overpriced food. Rides are pretty awesome. I do reccomend the flash pass.
Haven't been there in years my whole family went mom included. We all had a ball it was hot but we found cool sprinklers through out park. Loved it
the best days are those you spend with your loved ones.
Park is really fun, but is starting to show its age. A lot of the rides paint is faded, and rust is showing here in there. Need to do a little bit of maintenance to get a five star
Rides were short on monday and Tuesday. Also you can use there parking lot to see a baseball game.
This was a real blast! I've been to Six Flags in Vallejo, CA and the Texas Six Flags blows it away, hands down. The park is well planned and laid out, with ample shade and cooling areas. The lines weren't outrageous and the staff was courteous and friendly. Plus our membership was a great deal, it makes it really economical to visit. I'm looking forward to visiting with my family again soon. THE APP IS WORTH IT: YOU CAN NAVIGATE THE PARK AND GET WAIT TIMES, REALLY REALLY HELPFUL!
Great amusement park. Rides for the entire family. Many thrill rides. But they need to open more water rides, esp in Texas during the summer! Or add a small water park like fiesta Texas has.
the whole entire park was messed.... like almost everywhere smell like donkey $Hits or smell pukes.......... but the joker was great. we didnt stay long or all day till close cause it was very mess and smell horrible.
Great place to have fun! Good deals with their season passes!
It was awesome. Must go place and please don't forget to visit the Batman's related rides esp. reverse one.
Fun place to take the kids, lines can get long and wait times can be ridiculous during school breaks, but that's to be expected. The only negative thing I'd have to say is if you are going to hand out passes for a ride ti come back at a specific time then there shouldn't be a almost 2 hour wait from that time. What's the point of coming back at a specified time?
Come in the evening and invest in the dining pass and diamond elite members. Its fully worth it
Crowded all the time now, needs maintenance and a LOT of the buildings and shows are no longer open. Purely for the thrill rides these days, only a shadow of what it once was.
Great to be here. Nice warm day. house full. Lots of familes.
Six Flags is fun but there are always so many ride issues and closures.
I'm a big kid. Always love fun here with my friends. I love rollercoasters. Thrilling and exciting.
Great variety of rides for kids and adults. We went at the end of May, it wasn't to terribly busy. I definitely recommend the flash pass as the wait for some of the bigger rides can be a little lengthy. The price of the tickets was a little high, and of course the food is way overly priced.
The rides were great specially the TITAN and the FREEZE.
Build the rides people will come, but if your staff is not pleasant, management is unorganized, and inefficient, you will continue to have less long term customers and be forced to pour more funds into attempting to regain business. I would give Six Flags 1 star if it didn't have a few redeeming qualities. Food is mediocre at best, sometimes it's not very good at all and leaves you unsatisfied and feeling kind of cheated - what a waste it was getting a dinner pass for the entire family. Too many employee's are rude and that takes a lot away from the experience. Some employee's also do not pay enough attention to the children's rides and what's happening on them. Something news worthy would have to happen for them to change though. The Flash passes are ridiculously gouged and unnecessarily expensive for the lack of flexability and selections they have. We bought 4 of the diamond elite membership's, and 3 gold season passes, and boy what a complete waste. The only great thing was parking (which is awful to plan online, their website is not user friendly) and the benefits following you to Huricane Harbor. The kids area is kind of a joke at Six Flags. There's wasted room where other cool kids activities or rides could be. The mist areas need some TLC. There's a smoking area right by the kids area? Seriously? Be careful during special events, they will close areas without proper communication - and they are not always kind about it. The lost and found employee's are the absolute worst and don't listen to their customer's. Employee's have awful attitudes all around, that alone has me looking elsewhere for our family fun time. Even the character visits are a bit lackluster at times. They need a better way to announce ride closures too. Lots of inefficiencies. The train and the engineers/conductors were the only employees who added to the experience. They were the only employees who were kind 100% of the time and who efficiently communicated closures, eta's, and estimated waits from occupancy. The train staff was one of those redeeming qualities, although there was a time when it was extremely crowded and some people took seats a family was obviously trying to save while they put their stroller away. The family ended up getting separated and were not able to ride because the train filled up, so they had to go back and take their stroller off and return to the line. I think the lady controlling the gate was not counting or watching properly. It seems like overall Six Flags has lost sight of everything Six Flags used to offer, their management staff I've encountered are unorganized in their offices, paper, trash, documents, just all over the place. The place is a mess behind the scenes, I would wonder how they stay in business but it's quite clear it's from their gouged prices. Where is all our money going? Some things haven't changed in over 20 years, and some things that have seemed to make the parks layout confusing. Six Flags needs some major changing internally.
When things are operating, it can be a lot of fun. However during my last visit, every single ride in Gotham was closed except Catwoman, and most of the rides in the rest of the park were not in operation either. I was strapped into catwoman so tightly that I could not breathe, and passed out. I spent the next hour and a half sitting on a bench doing breathing exercises before I could catch my breath at all. I would like to return, as I have a pass, but it seems unfair to the day tickets when nearly every single ride is shut down. I also didn't see much Halloween stuff, despite it being Hallow Fest.
Overall fun, lots of stuff to see. The teenaged ride operators could walk a little faster to get the rides going.
Fast lines. Workers does there best to make all rides fast to get in line
Live in the area so I've been coming here since I was small. This year was amazing so far, we rode the Riddlers Revenge and I swear I almost died. The park is always clean and theres always so much to do. One of the best ways to spend your weekends!
Its a really fun experience and there is also new roller coasters ever so often and the food is delicious but really pricey. The tickets are also really pricey too. I feel safe in the roller coasters and it's really amazingly fun too. Safety has also improved. The lines are really extremely long and I have waited in lines for hours and it would be really nice of the lines were somehow shorter. I would really recommend it for a a place to go and have fun with the family.
We always have fun here. Was a little disappointing on the Harley Quinn ride that was added. Best thing we did was get a season silver pass. Too pricey for "Quick pass"
I have consistently had a lot of fun here especially during their holiday events.
Many of the rides are not plus size friendly so if thats something that impacts you it would be good to know before. Its really embarrassing to have to get off the ride and stand around waiting for your friends to get back.
Also many of the scarers during Halloween are overzealous and its difficult to navigate with fearful children, they don't know when to back off.
I LOVE the diversity of food choices and the little stand vendors.
Fun place, be prepared to stand in line though. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I come here at least twice a month! I have the season passes and the season flash passes, which I recommend! I ride just about every ride there that I love usually twice with the flash passes! I always have fun and my oldest loves it!!
Constantly building new rides. Favorite rides are the Riddler and Titan! Get your heart pumping. Make sure to not fo on empty stomach though!
Very nice park. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody who wants to have fun. The best and definitely most scariest ride in the park the Texas Giant Rollercoaster is a defenant recommendation for people who have the guts.
Ok so of course this isn t disney or universal. Some of the rides were dated and the atmosphere is not as magical as other parks, however we still had a blast! Rides were unique and very fun! Diamond elite comes with parking and we upgraded to include meals and flash passes. My friend is a roller coaster junkie so for sure we will be back with our teens. I may stay at the spa while they do this the next time we come back. lol! There s some nice food America food options (BBQ nachos, Johnny Rockets). There was also a bar with many adult frozen drinks (Mom stayed there for a while). A bit annoying to have to wait in line everyday for your flash passes. Some people were also smoking marijuana it seems. Whatever, overall it was fun! We even enjoyed the outdated carnival games and won a large inflatable alien and a baseball cap! Bought some shirts for $5 a piece on sale! Great value! we live 4 hours away a from this one and will likely check out the Missouri location next!
Great place for family fun. Be prepared to walk, wear good shoes with socks! Was disappointed with the hospitality.. the park workers from all aspects, restaurants and ride tenants need a course in customer service and hospitality..other than that fun place
Had a great time it was super hot but lines weren't bad at all!! Kids had a blast!!
Definitely a perfect weekend visit. Variety of rides and games. It worth being there. I'd like this one over the one in San Antonio because of having more rides and more thrilling roller coasters.
Bring some comfy shoes. This place is huge. I would recommend eating outside the park, if you're trying to penny pinch.
Each time we go, we have an absolute blast. Yes, some of the rides are scary (to me) but they are fun. A lot of different places to eat with lots of selections to choose from. Definitely something for everyone.
i love roller coasters :)
and its a great place to hang out with friends!
I've loved six flags since I was a little girl & still do!!
Awesome park! The original Six Flags park. Very fun, very pretty and picturesque park with great rides.
Overall really nice, but could use some more casual rides not every ride has to go fast.
It was fun. Some rides were down, great customer service!
Great place to spend the day. Fun for whatever age you are.
Looney toons part of park is perfect for toddlers. The mini roller coster was my son's favorite.
So-so. 4 rides were down. That's unacceptable. Prices are fairly rediculous but you know this going in. Security check is over zealous. They took my little LED flashlight and spent almost 3 minutes rifling through my purse. How silly. There's just no privacy anymore. Rediculously long ride lines. Confusing levels of season passes with all of the options and add-ons. I'm sorry but I just don't think it's enjoyable to come here.
Overall it was pretty nice. The staff on one side however was forcing people together and it was super uncomfortable. Everywhere else was great though.
The cost for a day at Six Flags is steep. All the rides shut down when it sprinkled a little. Leaving us with only the kiddy rides and expensive games.
Super great place, very fun to go and lots of rides to select from. I didn't eat in the park because a lot of people said the food there was expensive so I'd recommend bringing a cooler.
Honestly, it's a lot of fun... It's Six Flags... But the crowd control and parking lot exit routes are absolutely absurd. We exited the park before the majority of the masses came out last night, went directly to the car (which wasn't too far from the entrance, pulled out into the exit lane.... And we went about 30 feet before we were all locked in from every way for the next HOUR and 45 minutes. Imagine... Thousands of people, kids screaming tired and hungry, no bathroom, no food .. People running out of gas... Land locking everyone in for nearly 2 hours without movement.
Entering and exiting this park almost makes me regret getting the membership.... And this was our first trip there using it. I hope they invest in solutions soon.
The rides are still fun, and it was very crowded the day we went.
Runaway Mountain had attendants at the entry to the line telling people it was closed...when there were clearly people in line waiting to ride it. This was 30 minutes prior to the park closing, so maybe they just wanted to get out early, who knows?
Fun rides. LONG lines even if you have a flash pass. Flash pass line is also extremely long. Food is decently priced. Parking is ridiculous. None of the staff have any common sense and they all act like they hate their job. Won t be back.
It was my first visit there and I had a awesome time.
I love it very clean and fun to spend time with my husband
Awesome place to take your family. Its crowded alot but well worth the wait in line for their amazing rides
The memberships are a scam. They are nearly impossible to cancel. The park is always overcrowded, restaurants are very disorganized, and parking is a nightmare.
A great time for the whole family! There's a lot to do, so everyone's interests can be met.
Rides are fun and park is kept clean, but the customer service is terrible. Low talking and apathy are the normal encounters we have with a six flags employee.
This place is amazing to hangout with friends. It gets very crowded though, so I'd recommend to come early. Definitely check out the go carts and get the 20 dollar all day pass to save money.
Six Flags is the place to be if you re visiting Dallas. I love all the little parks they have and even though I m there all the time, i forget how huge the amusement park is.
This place is absolutely wonderful! All the rides never disappoint to give me a real thrill. Food places are great too as the park is very big and has a wide selection of restaurants to go to. Awesome place to go.
Season passes pretty reasonably priced. The food is average, nothing I would rave about. Lots of great rides.
While I do like it here and it is much fun. The lines take forever
THE BEST PLACE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!! They have the best food and although it is price the employees' attitudes make up for it. They are by far the best place to go to have fun an go crazy!!!
Went here for Halloween and was fun but the crowds limited us experiencing the whole park .
Always a great experience with lots of things to do. Prepare for a splashy experience because there are some water rides here. Buy a six flags cup and get free refills all day.
It was fun, the people over there were polite also the rides were fun and the stores had a lot of d items for sale
First time at a six flags. Pretty nice amusement park. Fairly clean. Lots of shade. Many drink and snack shops(beware no mrkt competition within amusement parks). Super hero theme is great. Majority of the staff was courteous and helpful. Pretty sure perks for members and flash pass were added long after the concrete set for line paths. At the entrance all ticket holders go through same bag check, then separate for pass holders, doesn't make me feel special spending extra money for claimed swift entrance. There was a 20 min wait to get a flash pass with no shade. Then finding the flash pass entrance at each ride is like a treasure hunt with no map. Sometimes it's at the entrance, sometimes at the exit far far from the entrance. It does appear reinvestment is happening with new rides, which is great. They need some concierge or just some extras at the front gate for questions and maybe a little hand holding on your first time through. We'll be back... We have the coveted membership.
Bought tickets dated for today, but some 3 day grace period makes Saturday tickets not valid so still in line the 4th so far trying to get it corrected to get into a park we paid $270 2 days ago for...
