Above average amusement park. Water fountain did not work when i was there.
We get Season passes almost every year, including parking and the food pass as well. Very well worth it especially after just a few visits its paid for itself. Especially the food pass. It includes 2 meals and a snack per person. Think about how much a meal is per person plus how many people are in your family? As every parent knows those meals and snacks add up. I highly recommend the food pass and whatever kind of season pass that suites your needs. Six Flags starting 2020 is going to be open every weekend now from my understanding. Sounds good to me
Haven't been in 15 years and took the kids since they had tickets from school we had a really good time . Short lines and employees were polite with good customer service. Prices for drinks were high ( 3.50 for water) as too be expected. Overall a great time. Best thing we did all summer .
Love this place, could still use more updates of the basics but it is looking better than 2 years ago
Six flags attractions are great! However, the employees were not very friendly. We were charged wrong on our wristbands, and the employees were not only untrained and therefore unhelpful, but a bit rude. Most of all though, I recall they used to all say "have a six flags day!" I loved that, my parents and siblings said that to each other for years afterwards in memory of our good times. I even told my kiddos about then saying it, then when we show up, no one says it, and most the employees are in a bad mood. If the six flags employees acted even a little happy I would gladly give 5 stars.
I had fun, but only go if you like roller coasters. :)
The park was amazing. There was a lot of fun rides, the only downside was that the food and drinks at the park was expensive. $5.50 for a single water bottle. Definitely bring your own drinks and have them in a cooler inside your car. The park will allow you to go outside and come back. You just need to get a stamp on your arm. I would also suggest eating something light before coming to the park.
People working at the park were nice, but with no one enforcing the mask policy, about half of the people there weren't wearing them. With plenty of people coughing and sneezing (probably just allergies, but I'm not taking that risk) we left after only 2 hours. Wouldn't be surprised if there was COVID spread there.
Parking and gate entry ran smoothly. There were a lot of patrons, but the reduced admission numbers made it easy to Social distance. Rides lines were fast with very little wait time. The food was fresh and tasty. Restrooms were very well maintained. The only hitch was most of the water rides being closed.
I going to give it a 4/5 because it is a blast it's any amazing place though the lines are long everything else is awesome get the season pass for sure if you plan on going more than once
It is a great place. Avoid going there during the summer. It is too hot!
Great, family had a great time. Hours are from 10am-9pm. $67 online, General admission.
There were a lot of characters walking around that you could take pictures with and the roller coasters were adrenaline rushing. Wish we had one in Orlando!
Most rides are shut down, some may be from covid but there are whole sections of the park that seem unkempt (the Looney tunes section seems like it hasn't been painted in a decade). Customer service is terrible. Will tell you to buy a season pass online after waiting in the member relations line for 30 minutes, and forget to tell you to get a member badge before heading to the front entrance. A badge only member relations can give you, so back in line for another 30 minutes in the sun. The vendors wouldn't bother to give us a lid for our 7$ large soda, and simply told us no when we asked. But they will give you a lid on the refill cup they give you if you have the seasonal drink cup, so that is cool.
Two stars since the handful of rides still running are kind of fun and the funnel cake was good.
Always have an amazing time here great place to go have fun
We always have an amazing time here i got the golden passes for us and its on $35.00 For 4 . They have the dinning passes and other great deals on there site just be prepared to walk a lot lol I will deff recommend thos place also the decorations for all holidays are a big plus i cant wait to see the holiday lights! FYI Make sure you read whats in each memberships so you wont be disappointed.
Although they didn't have a lights show tonight, the decor from Christmas was still beautiful. So glad we came before the 6th to catch that. Lines for rides were about 45 minutes long but time went by pretty quick.
Holiday in the park, find a day when the weather is how you like it, and go enjoy the Christmas decorations, or stay late for the lights.
The best amusement park there is, no other is better.
Not the best place to go if you have social anxiety or the fear of loud noises. I thought the experience was overwhelming and I also went when it was hot not the most amusing. I liked how the rides we red e themed though.
Its pretty good but their can occssionslly be a lack of sanitary
The had a 75% off sale and I bout a season pass for 2018. I can use it for the rest rest of 2017 and this week end I brought a buddy for $9.99. We didn't have to wait long in lines and had ultimate funnel cake for $10. Parking was free... I can't wait for fright fest!
Great rides, but entering park entrance & lot took 45 min.
The rides are cool but this is the first six flags park I been to without a water park inside the park. You would think Texas would make them rethink that smh
The rides were like many I have never been on but when i went most of the good ones were closed down.
I had fun! The Holiday lights were beautiful! I am absolutely upset though that I bought 2 margaritas for 25.00 and it was an absolute waste!!!!! They barely had alcohol in it. It was mostly sugary mix and made my stomach sick and a slight headache. Such a BIG LET DOWN. I should of just gotten a beer so no one could of messed that up . I wish I could get my money back !!!
Always fun place to go. Flash pass is worth it for sure!
The food is good 3 people can eat off of one serving friendly very good environment very happy people
Was pretty busy, but the rides were worth the wait!
Good trip but today the line was ridiculous to were you didnt even want to wait in line smh
this park has gotten a lot cleaner since the 2010s, still needs some work but overall it s a pretty good park
Awesome theme park. Many rides were closed. May be due to covid-19 pandemic. Properly organized and sanitized. Had fun day at the park.
After purchasing our tickets a week early knowing the weather is subject to change and also knowing that the park does not issue rain checks or refunds, we made our way into the park in the rain. We discovered that parking was still 30 dollars even though it was raining and once inside that only 2 rides were open. We were able to ride the two, and then about 30 minutes before they decided to close the park EARLY WITHOUT INFORMING THEIR GUESTS they opened the rest of the rides. Before we could get to them, we were being rushed out by park security stating the park was closing early.
Also unknowing the park would be closing early we purchased an all day cup at 3:45 pm. The woman working the stand sells me the cup, but doesn't tighten the top. I then proceed to the next ride and while getting off, the top of my cup came off and all of my drink was wasted. Within 15 minutes they had already closed the concession stands so 150 dollars later I'd say that was an awful experiance.
I don't won't to give less stars because of our time being cut super short due to server weather. The little time spent here was amazing and the staff really takes safety serious which I like. The food was really good also.
I received an email solicitation from Six Flags indicating that if I purchased 2018 Season Passes by 9/4/2017, I would receive some great discounts AND a "Bring a Friend Free" pass for Fright Fest. Fright Fest runS from September 24 - October 31 (based on Six Flags own website). We had planned to use our "Bring a Friend Free" passes for a family outing on Sunday, October 29. Family is visiting from Germany. I contacted Six Flags to inquire about getting the Season Passes processed and how we would use the "Bring a Friend Free" pass. I was informed that the "free" pass has expired. I told the supervisor that I had the email and that no dates were specified in the Six Flags email. He basically said "too bad." This is deceptive advertising. Six Flags is currently making the same offer of a "Bring a Friend Free" Holiday in the Park ticket if Season Passes are purchased by October 31 and NO DATES are specified in that email either. CONSUMERS BEWARE. Do NOT purchase Season Passes (or anything else from Six Flags) if you believe they will honor offers that they are making.
Everything was good. Due to the long lines on the new or popular rides, I suggest investing in the flash pass. .
No prevention against covid except hand sanitizers and thermal cameras. There wasnt lines at the rides so I guess that's good. I never saw them cleaning the rides or disinfecting them.
Landscaping was terrible. We purchased the Platinum flash pass and although it was great to get to the front of the line, it was not to all the rides and the experience less attractive. 5 of the rides were not running for over an hour. The great idea of purchasing the cup and refills free, but 4 out of 5 places the cold drink were flat. Only the blue Bell drinks were good the day we went. The staff in most of the rides acted as their life was miserable. There were 6 of us and we'll over $1,000 spent. Not my idea of money well spent. There will have to be real improvement before I bring my grandsons back.
Because of corona, we had to reserve tickets for this specific day. It ended up raining the entire time, our tickets were from 11-6 and it rained until about 3. We got to ride about 4 rollercoasters and then they unexpectedly closed at 4 due to inclement weather without telling anybody. The worst part is, they don t do rain checks or refunds so it was basically wasted money. The workers were very rude too, they looked so annoyed with everyone and definitely gave me bad vibes.
Other than some of the younger workers being a little obnoxious the family day trip was super Fun! The flash passes were worth it , but I wish the prices weren't so expensive
This is our favourite park in Dallas. It has a lot of attraction rides and the food is great. We enjoyed our visit here. Overall, I recommend this park to anyone.
Loved it! Flash pass is the way to go! The Joker was probably the scariest ride because it seemed like I was riding on my chest the entire ride and there is only that bar holding you from falling to the ground
I love six flags! Have had season passes for years now and never have had a bad experience.
Rides are amazing...flash pass is worth every cent...but I had forgotten how truly expensive this place is! Went during Halloween...got passes to last thru holiday in the park...will have to check finances before going back
I and my family members are season pass holders here and that being aid this place offers a great value for your money. I think if you were to only buy a one day ticket, food and drinks it would be a waste however. Great family outing but water rides close rather early, 6:45 one time and right at 7pm the other. Some food establishments are quick and friendly while others have a really long wait time.
Well organised , good spectrum of rides for all ages.vegan food options make this a fun destination.
Great staff, always something fun and exciting happening, fair prices, great rides. Something for everyone.
Loved it get to spin time with my family and had lots of fun
this place has outstanding rides and good food and a really cool layout.
if you are willing to go to a theme park in texas do not do fiesta texas or sea world do over texas.
The food was way over priced ..and very nasty,,the Burgers and barbecue joint combined that we stopped at , the food what's gross the meat tasted old and the waffle fries were ice cold the best thing we got to eat today was a funnel cake that's what we lived off of ,out there, come on six flags make these people keep the food up to par, if you're going to charge this type of money make the food worth it but our children really enjoyed the park and they really enjoy the rides but the food sucked I can't stress that enough,
Since I was a kid I've love six flags! They did great this year as always! All love
Lots of fun. A few rides down due to weather but fun overall
Everything was amazing today was perfect fast lines fun rides and we were good but the snake ride my cousin got hurt cause of the ride his finger got purple so we left I still didnt like the ride it didnt have seat belts wich it should of had some but didn't I regret wanting to go on that ride please close the ride other than that everything was fine
Sick of employees who dont know what the promotion are! 27.00 forever popcorn bucket and a supervisor says oh no we dont do that!
We always love Six Flags, though at least 4 of their rides (2 of the water rides) are shut down today during a heat advisory day. Normally, we have a blast here, and we still are today. Not as busy due to the weather which is nice. My kids (4 & 6) enjoyed the water parade.
Awesome place when you come for a private event. Not much waiting is awesome!!
The membership plans are a total game changer. We love holiday in the park with the kiddos. Took our 6 year old son to Fright Fest and were worried it would be too intense for him . However, the fright staff took a look at him and turned away which I was very appreciative of. Staff are friendly and the park is family oriented.
Easy parking, lines were not too long. Staff was friendly in all rides.
Even though it rained the whole time, we still had fun!
Great place for memories. The lines are a little long, but they've fixed that a little with the "flash pass". Great for all ages, but best for teens and up.
Great park, grew up in Ft. Worth. Summers at Six Flags. Season pass is that way to save money
place where we celebrated our 1st yr anniversary..we have been here almost 3-4times..visiting during halloween is a nightmare not because of the Decorations but the crowd my god..too many people..you just have to spend time waiting around..going on normal days is far much better and you're able to enjoy the rides!!!..(the reason for 4 stars is the crowd during holidays makes it close to impossible to enjoy the park and also they leave the place with food and drinks spilled on the ground)
Fun for the most part was first time at this park and besides the kiddos got too hot lol its was fun, hoping to come back
Its Texas - its hot lol! The water rides are closed :(....its hot. Overall family friendly.
I would have given it higher reviews, but in order to really get to ride the rides without the extremely long lines you must pay for the flash pass at an extreme mark up. Drinks in a refillable cup (really the cheapest option when it's an orange pollution watch day) $15.99 and the line cutting policy isn't enforced. I watched it everywhere in the park, including waiting to refill the drink cup with water. SFOT may be consider separate water stations for those who just want water. Discount the wristband and label it somehow that it's a water only wristband.
While our family has always enjoyed six flags theme parks, we found that the ticket purchase process was both confusing and frustrating. We looked at the website for information before we arrived, but it didn't really offer any helpful information. Once we found the right ticket booth, they would only sell a season pass, and not day tickets. Told us that we had to purchase them online (which was not available from the website). The bottom line is that they were not organized AT ALL when it came to ticket sales.
Fantastic! Love it even more then Silver Dollar City! Nice workers and people there too!
This year fright fest has been disappointing. We have been out twice this year and the second time we did not even see 1 "monster". The first time we saw some all bunched up in 2 areas of the park but didnt move around much or interact with trying to frighten anyone. It was completely awful.
Great family day out. Some rides aren't for the faint hearted!
Full of excitement rides for all ages. From food to music
I love this place...good place to jus let loose and have fun
Had fun but you will have to wait n line for ride's other then that its was good:)
It's always the best place to go for every one and more rids there more and more people like to go there more than ever
Really? One of the first amusement parks I ever went to was Six Flags Over Texas in the 60s. Okay so I haven't been to very many amusement parks throughout the country. But I always enjoy my visit to the original in Arlington.
It was nice, but I was really only there to get membership passes.
We have season passes bought during the promo for free Gold upgrade that includes entry into any six flags theme parks, season parking pass to all parks, & hurricane harbor water park. Bought 2018 passes in 2017 so were able to go too Hurricane harbor once, enjoy SF during 2017 Fright fest, &Holiday in the park. For the first time we purchased basic meal passes on sale that include 1 lunch meal&1 snack. We then upgrade our daughter's (to gold) meal plan that includes dinner & the cup that gets drinks(at no additional fee) all season long. So far all have likely paid for themselves before 2018 has officially started!
Arrive early to get on rides pretty quickly. Food was good. Kids had a blast!
It was great. Holloween theme is awesome. Have plenty of shaded areas n fans with cool water spraying out. Most lines were not too long
it's my first time coming to over Texas. I usually go to fiesta Texan but I gotta say I like them both. the only difference is that this one doesn't have a water park.
We came 1 hour early to make sure we were in the front. We also got the golden flash pass and we rode every single ride there.
There are some rides that were closed due to technical problems ( it rained the day before.)
I had lots of fun and would come here again!
Typical amusement park, so crowds, food, games and souvenirs. Everything has the usual markup. You can find deals like dining passes and refillable cups, but those are only worth it if you go often. The roller-coasters are the best part, obviously. I love the Batman, Mr. Freeze, Texas Giant, and the Titan. On busy days, the lines are long, but weekdays are better. The holiday events are amazing. Fright Fest and Holliday in the Park are so much fun.
Great rollercoasters! I loved the music and the rides a lot! The only thing I have to complain about is that it was a very confusing park, I found myself quite lost several times. And couldn't find a couple of the rides I wanted to go on
