if you are going to buy tickets at the last minute at the box office I assure you that you are going to regret waiting in line for 1:30 minutes. I would advise the manager of the place to put one person for only one person who buys passes for a day and did not expect to wait for one

A lot of the rides kept breaking down. My husband and kids got stuck on one for about 30-45 mins. Some staff was nice. Besides that my kiddos had a great time there. Places like this always have a rough start when they haven't been ran in a while it's understandable. :)

A lot of the rides that I liked were closed and the Justice League ride was disappointing. 1. 5 hour long wait and the shooters stopped working mid game. Told a Al n employee said "I'll tell the manager" and that was it

This place really is best when you live nearby and aren't afraid of doing some math. We live nearby and both my wife and I have the season dining pass with our memberships, so sometimes we just go in at 5pm for dinner then leave! We have gotten our money's worth over and over by doing so, but I also go alone sometimes to enjoy the amazing roller coasters. I probably would not enjoy it as much if I only paid for one day and bought food every time because it would be too expensive! The membership and dining pass make that more affordable though because we live locally.

I always bring my nieces and nephew at least four or five times a year and we always have a blast.

Bathrooms are always atrocious even at the beginning of the day.

Had a Blast!! My first time. Although the service where i ate was not the greatest, the food was still great!! Really fun and a lot of things to do!

My kids had season passes and got tired of going but it's a good theme park. The food is way over priced they should really do something about that it's just not right to over charge for food and drinks and already having to pay the high admission cost.

Horrible. Most of the rides were shut down. There for 6 hours and only able to ride 2 rides. The only reason you all get 2 stars is cuz I got a plunger hat. We waited in line for 2 hours and it was our turn and the ride shut down. Waited 30 min and was on the ride but before we went they said the ride shut down. I understand some rides cuz wind can have a dangerous effect but still. Horrible. Thx for the hat tho.

It was a good experience. Some of the fun rides were closed, but overall it was a good time.

Very beautiful and amazing place. VERY good for littke kids with a bunch of little coasters and giants coaster that will make you twirl. I recommend going here.

We are a long time pass holder... we visit often. We always have a fun. But this time was different.... usually we come for the rides and that's it... This trip we decided to catch a show. "Hey Mr. DJ"... GREAT JOB! The set looked great, the light show was engaging, the performance was fun and I didnt expect so many costume changes!. I was really watching the performers. Some were really concentrating on hitting their marks and going through the motions... HOWEVER! there was one lady who really stood out to me as "knew the whole show like the back of her hand". Her smile felt genuine, looked like she was having fun performing despite the skeleton crowd. She didnt sing but her performance did. Great show! Great job! Thank you for the hundreds or thousands of shows I haven't seen till now! To think that every show, everyday has "you all" behind it really amazes me. Thank you!

We went for my birthday in 2017 and it was the perfect time to go! It rained the day we went but we still had a great time and there were no lines for the rides! The only thing was the rain did cause several rides to shut down so we did not get to ride some of the ones we had planned on. The food was pretty awesome and I found a lot of collectibles for my husband in all of the gift shops! They offer a fantastic service to deliver your purchases to the front of the park so you don t have to carry it around with you all day. You simply pick them all up on your way out! It was a great trip and we will be back!

This is a great park for those who love an intense coaster. They've got everything from classic wood to modern magnetic launches. Paths can be a little narrow in places and dining options are limited. But f you live to ride you'll love this park.

Love six flags!! Awesome rides and there always adding something new, also there meal plan with can be bought online is an awesome value definitely pays for itself!

Had a good time with the grand kids, we had dinner at Jonny Rocket the food was ok. However the floor was filthy and I had to clean the table my self before we could sit down to eat. overall it was ok.

Gold pass as Christmas gift for grandkids was a super good buy! Free parking and entrance at both Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor, plus 20% off once a day purchase, definitely paid for itself in 3 visits!

Always an entertaining time. Get there early enough in the morning, ride everything and have enough time to get out before the park gets busy.

Way to many people, hours to ride 1 ride, very expensive unless you have memberships. Fright fest was amazing though.

Good theme park with a decent amount of rides. The Flash pass is worth it on the gold level, but I would not do the level above or below it. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would like to see more red class rides in the park, however I can still recommend it now!

Awesome day! No lines, decorations were great, and food was decent.

Usually like sixflags but this time was not a very good experience. Fright fest was a mess. We didn't see many scary characters walking around, website States of that kids can where masks butbsons mask was taken away at gate, after I discussed what was posted the older man stated that it was also up to his discretion and he didn't like the eye wholes..ok it was a Mike Myers mask. Nite that he wore the same mask the night before in the dark without any complaints. People were cutting lines staff didn't intervene...just too much to list. Definitely will only go to fright fest on members day next year.

Park administration is disorganized when it comes to communication. Information on the website differs from the app which differs from the newsletter that is sent to pass holders/members. It is extremely frustrating when I have checked open dates, made a reservation, taken off work, driven over an hour, and gotten my kids excited for a fun filled day only to be disappointed that the park is closed. When called office to let them know the website is inaccurate was told that the misunderstanding was my error. I have screen shot that proves it is not my mistake. Take responsibility and stay organized so this doesn't happen again.

Six Flags Over Texas is the 2nd best amusement park besides Disney world, they just added a new ride call El Diablo and it's amazing, it actually holds a Guinness World Record for the tallest loop coaster in the world!!! My favorite ride is The Batman! Just my opinion, please don't judge me! But overall Six Flags is just the best amusement park in Texas!!!!

We were there for eight hours and only went on five rides because the rides kept breaking down. FOUR rides broke down while we were in line for them, and one of them twice. I can't believe I paid that much money for the park to be barely functional.

The park was also filthy. There was trash everywhere, and the lack of atmosphere was apparent. The rides feel industrial and uninviting.

The last point I could forgive if it wasn't malfunctional and disgusting. I won't be coming back.

Rides are 5 star service is a 0. I never seen such an apathetic staff. For Example, during Covid, they stop and sanatize the rides every hour. They send one person to clean while the other two sit in the air conditioned hut and play on their phones. This sums up this park. The rides aren't worth the poor service and prices.

The batman ride was absolutely amazing it was so good!! Many other rides were too, but some of them,*Justice League* were NOT worth the wait. And also, if you re looking for someplace to eat, go to the All American Cafe. The line may look long, but its better than where me and friends went. We went to this place that sold the same stuff that Chickfila does, and we had to stand for an hour in the sun. It satisfied, but it wasnt worth the wait AT ALL. Six flags is super fun, but make sure not to make poor decisions.

The park has many options for food and rides for kids of all ages. Even the adults who have an inner child. However, the park is old and dirty with lots of debris and trash in the water and wooded areas of the park. Not a lot of clean areas.

Can't go wrong with a day at Six Flags! Stay hydrated!

This is a great place to build some memories with the family. Be prepared with water and sunscreen to stand in line for the rides, but each line moves at a reasonable pace. The Batman was a fun ride.

Te attractions and park was great, I had my pocket knife with and I had to leave it in the front which it was not a problem and had to get it on the way out, well when I got it some one had damage my pocket knife, I don't check it when I got it un till the next morning I tried to open an envelope and the back spring was remove and, and the drew that held it in place was still loose, come on guys screws don't just fall out on brand new pocket knifes, any ways not a big loss but disappointed when I tried to use my pocket knife, i don't check it right away when i picked it up cause it was raining very hard and and my friend and i were trying to get to our cars asap.

My kids and I always go to SixFlags for a good time, we love all the rides and food, it's always a plus to have a dining pass, just not crazy about the lines for the food ....I think there should be a line or window just for refills!

Very family oriented place was our first time and had a blast. If you are looking for some fun I highly recommend it.

Had a great time with my 4 and 6 year old. Mostly did the kid rides but it was worth it for their faces of pure excitement. I'll make thrill seekers out of them yet.

Too dark at night, I hated the $30 parking fee. Food prices were okay, water prices crazy.

Horrible experience, true waste of time! Huge lines and very disrespectful ride attendants. The attendants repeatedly leave rides leave with empty seats regardless of the huge single rider lines. When asked to get extra single riders to fill the spots, the response was that they do not allow people from the single line ride together! On top of that, very discriminatory practices against riders. They have rides that allows parent to load with a kid taking a single spot. For that reason, many parents wait on a single line as they plan to load with one kid on a single spot. Yet, the attendants discriminate as they seem fit when it comes to allowing that parent load the ride. We waited with my 4 year old for 1 hour and saw all other parents load the ride just fine with their kid taking one spot, and were told that we were waiting on the wrong line and asked to leave ! Customer care booth were even more disrespectful and unhelpful. Avoid unless you plan to spend a fortune on flash passes. If you have kids, definitely find a more kid friendly entertainment park. Wish we had Disney kind of park that allows a parent to reserve a spot on a ride instead of keeping the kids for hours waiting.

It's great besides got keep an eye on the weather. Not to fun if its extremely hot.

It's fun as a kid but as an adult it brings back all those old memories

Me and my family went to six flags Dallas the week of the Fourth and we had a horrible experience. They were having technical problems with the scanning the dine in passes we purchased that we did not use. Horrible experience!!! Due to the weather we no rides were running a waste of money. The kids were not happy and our experience were not a good. I would like my money back or replacement a to go any other day! A few none working rides.

We had alot of fun. The rides were great. They did keep closing some down due to technical difficulties but after about an hour the rides would be back up and running.

Six flags is always a good time but especially when you choose to get there early and at a time period when you can ride the rides with a small wait time! The decorations were beautiful and the temperature was just right. Get a funnel cake and enjoy.

Always a great time lines move very quickly if you pick the right rides also be prepared to wait a bit for the more popular rides the food is delicious. Make sure to have a plan ready also I recommend to grab a season pass if your trips will be extended through out the season. Sixflags is a well orginazed efficient and a great company.

Six flags is always fun but we love the winter season the best, hot cocoa and real fires to warm up at with rocking chairs. Very relaxing atmosphere. The carolers are wonderful. We buy season passes just to go in the winter.

Fantastic service and was fairly clean. I have to say some of the food isn't on par with what you'd expect seeing as one plate costs 15$ and doesn't include a beverage. However the over all visit was very nice. I was at the park when we went into a tornado warning and was promptly guided into a safe zone. Everyone was swift and kind about the whole experience.

First time here. Exhilarating place with a lot of attractions compared to our amusement park back home. Would definitely visit again in the future. Just happened to visit the day of Freight Fest, Halloween special of 2019.

Fun as always but quite a few rides were not open. Usually clean but not as much today. Sewer smell or hot trash? Not sure which.

I went there with my freind for the first time it was amazing

My daughter and I attended the park July 21 and 22, we were visiting from out of town and we had an amazing time all the rides and shows were really fun! However the main reason for this review is because my daughter was and still is just soo fond of a team member she met at Runaway Mountain! My daughter and I had waited in line for what seemed like an eternity just to reach the front and realize that it was in complete darkness, by this time my daughter was really scared to ride and your ride worker Kaylee was soo amazing, she got down on one knee and told my daughter that she had nothing to be afraid of, she said that this ride was really really fun and only lasted 30 seconds, my daughter was still unsure and I was just about to step in and say it s okay we can just leave when Kaylee took this bracelet off her wrist and gave it to my daughter, she told her it would keep her safe! She told her that it was a very special bracelet that she had, had since she was a kid ! She asked my daughter if she wanted to ride and my daughter finally caved in and said Yes! And she ended up loving it ! We rode Runaway about 5 times that day ! When we came back the next day my daughter wanted to go ride again hoping to see Kaylee once more only to find out she wasn t working, she was quite disappointed until we made our way over to Gold River Adventure to discover that she was here, just at a different ride !! I had to thank her for everything she did for my daughter and her response was oh it s my pleasure I love my job and I love kids and your daughter she s really amazing! I have never had this encounter before! And it was amazing! I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows what an amazing job she did! My daughter told me she would never forget the time she went to Six Flags and met Kaylee, and not to mention gained a pretty cool bracelet as well she won t take it off!

Poor Customer Service. Im currently standing outside the park waiting for a friend because they say I can't enter now if I want to bring my friend later. They have done similar things in the past. This is the result of a large business with no significant nearby conpetition. Ill be spending the rest of my time outside entering bad reviews. 2 stars because the rides are actually fun when they are running. Food is terrible, especially when considering the obsene prices.

Every ride I got on was extremely fun, but i would recommend coming on a week day if you don't plan on waiting hours to get on one ride.
The staff at the restaurants and concessions seem a little oblivious tho and even often times sort of rude.

Ok Six Flags over Texas was something I was really excited to take my family to since we were visiting from Oregon. Majority of the employees seem to be about 16 and it was frustrating at times since they seemed to not care about things as much as one might think an employee would when it comes to purchasing food or other kiosk items. All of the ride operators were fantastic and professional and made you feel confident in their ability to do their job. You will see the age of the park in some of the rides and that was a sad thing since for example we rode the log ride (not sure of name) and unfortunately there is 2 of them on that ride and while in line all you see is the 1st log ride is broken down and dilapidated. The track of it was severely worn and Log ride carts are on their sides. I tell you this because that is all you see while in line until you are about 15 people from the ride and it really made me look over the ride that was running to see if I could see similar things to the 1st ride. The ride was fun which makes it a little sad that the most of my memories of that ride are the broken one.
Justice League was an awesome ride that was 4D and I wish I would have rode it early since it was so much fun sadly it was our last ride after 8 hours there so I was beat.
Buy the Six flag Cup deal which is something like 13-15 Dollars depending on quantity you buy because it allows you unlimited drinks throughout the park on that visit. (there is one for about 34 that lasts all year) Water is like $4.50 or 2 for $6 so you can see how good of a deal this truly is. I am a Large fella and there is a couple rides I could not fit and due to that I refrained from trying others since the lines were long so it felt like a waste if they couldn't lower a safety bar enough, to their credit they tried and wanted to find a way but I took myself off as a courtesy of the other riders, This isn't a poor me type of thing more like warning to others that might be embarrassed by this. Some people are Money Rich but I am Calorie Rich oh yeah, gotta be able to laugh at yourself haha. The park has mist fans around the park to help with heat and they are really nice. Most of all try and get past all this stuff I mentioned because when you see the joy in your child's face nothing else matters, great memories were made during our trip.

Very difficult to end membership. Also customer chat was in no way helpful. Will not sign up ever again.

I am a HUGE fan of Six Flags over Texas! I got a seasons pass on sale during this Memorial Weekend and got 6 of them 65% off at only $78.99 each. That alone is cheaper than a day pass or a season pass.

The passes we got are for both Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags, free parking, a gold pass and much more.

There are many large rides and they have added more which are very thrilling. That's one of their great benefits is that they always seem to be improving.

The newer rides are very enjoyable such as the Joker and Riddler.

Never be afraid to go on these rides, it's very fun with friends, family and significant others.

I hadn't been here in 20 years. I wont go back. Place is run by kids. Fast pass isnt allowed at every ride . Only staff that were helpful was a young lady that helped us find an exit. Terrible day! Such a disappointment.

Great park, if you plan to go 2 or more times definitely buy the season pass. The food is expensive.

This Six Flags just needed TLC needed alot of attention.
Needs alot of updates on the rides. Some of the wood work of stairs need attention due to some warp wood. It was like 25 min before closing time and alot of the shops were closed so I as I was getting close to the exit I was able to get a hot chocolate and a souvenir. This made me give it a 3 star place. I love Six Flags just that this place was a bit disappointing and I came a long way to visit.

BEWARE!! This place is terrible! For the 2nd year IN A ROW our debit card info was stolen at Spring Break!! I used my card ONCE all day yesterday, (for just a drink cup) at the corndog stand in front of Superman, pretty sure same place it happened last year too, and now have $200 in fraudulent charges around Dallas!!
Because of last year, I had my cards in a skimming sleeve but that STILL wasn't enough to keep us safe!
Seriously makes me reconsider ever going back!!!

NOTHING SCAREY! It was packed and Fright Night was a let down. I was scarier than the park employees. If you don't ride there is not much to do except walk in circles. There should have been shows or attractions that don't cost more to see. Tickets are high enough to cover but doesn't. Maybe I'm too old. No they just cater to riders.
