Bad service ran out membership cups so had to pay for all my drinks bad experience as a first time member

Visited on a corporate day and got to enjoy with shorter wait times. It's not up to par with my other experiences at theme parks but they appear to be doing things to improve. Some of the older roller coasters are really classics, which I appreciate. Showy rollercoasters quickly lose their appeal.

I only gave three stars because of our experience. Many of the food Outlets ran out of items and we had to make alternative choices. Additionally, a fourth of the rides we're not operational. If you like roller coasters and you come to Six Flags for that experience it's a little disappointing not able to ride all of the rides. We did make the best of the day. Still make recommendations to visit Six Flags.

A good amusement park with a nice variety of rides, some of the best coasters I've ever been on. This isn't Disney or Universal, but a place to get some thrills and enjoy a day with the family. Superman may be the best coaster I've ever rode on. Battle for Metropolis is on par with anything Disney or Universal have to offer. Also pleased with the Log Jamboree and so happy to see Sky Buckets here that take me child to childhood at Disney World where they no longer exist. Sigh. On the negative side our lunch was terrible; a lot of rides were closed with no information posted at all. We found the place to be very well staffed and staff were friendly and worked pretty well overall.

Lockers were a pain to deal with. Multiple rides not working. Multiple rides with mechanical problems. Nice location for amusement park maybe they will put one there someday. Waste of time and money.

The potential is there for the experience to be great, given the phenomenal rides, but the lack of employees & management who give a darn will forever make Six Flags a below-average fun day. The park was clearly understaffed given the summer help went back to school, but half of the food establishments were closed, rides were closed, those employees who were working had the demeanor of wanting to be elsewhere, and there were even employees who were shouting at one another. Pandemoneoum breaks down after we waited 20 minutes in line, $6 Dasani water bottles, and the park had several areas that smelled like the septic tank needed to be flushed. Except for a few really good rides, the park is stuck in the 90s and needs a serious overhaul, from top management to ride employees and everything in between to improve the experience.

Great rides but the food is WAAAAY overpriced. Spent well over a thousand bucks for a weekend get away with the family. Just 1 day tickets for 5 of us WITHOUT the flash pass was 400 bucks plus 25 bucks parking and add in the food for the day was around $600!!! This doesn't add in souvenirs or extras that we paid for such as the fright fest haunted attractions! By the need of the night I had spent close to $1000. Way too expensive for a day trip. But the rides are great.

Fantastic fun! The staff was excellent and the Wait times were not too long. The rides were so exciting. Loved the Gotham and Metropolis themes surrounding the rides. Would go again first chance I get.

I really enjoyed the day I visited early in the season. I definitely would recommend to those who love roller coasters, as there is a large variety. Since it was opening day and rained for some of the day, there were almost no lines which certainly made up for the light rain.

My two son's and I are really excited about our next family vacation.
We are now planning to visit the most amazing amusement park on the planet, for spring break.
Six Flags over Georgia has the best rides and the best food.

Our church group came from Louisiana. We did the group pass with the 1 hour buffet. Everything was good. It was almost 60 of us. We went twice just to enjoy the whole park.
Besides having our photos mailed to us from the log slide .. .

This is a great place to bring family... Not during fright fest though, there are entirely too many unattended undisciplined minors running through the park and running into people. The security either doesn't know what to do or chooses to do nothing, either way makes the visit rough after 6pm before that it's a wonderful place to visit. Lines for the rides are typically quick and the staff is always friendly and courteous

This is mine and my kid's "happy place". We come often on the weekends and there's always plenty to do. When you buy a season pass and dining pass and visit frequently, it's a great value for family fun.

That park was great...the food courts were not so great. Very slow service they do not acknowledge or even in line or they're even waiting on a customer without the customers they would never have a job but I don't think they all realize that a little courtesy would make it better since we had to stand in line for like an hour just to get something to eat

Loved it as always! We go 2 - 3 times a year, and always enjoy our time there.

I bought corporate tickets for me and my kids to go to corporate night . Total of 200$ , we walked in the park. Got in line for a ride (this was at 757) it is now 1037. We haven t rode any ride and they will not give us a refund or the free entry ticket for the Christmas event. I m highly upset and my kids are very disappointed

Experience was great, bit overpriced if you ask me. Bring enough water... unless you don't mind leaving your check here. If you've been here you know what I mean.

This is horrific.I cannot believe these people dont even direct anybody.This is terrible.I have never seen such thing.They already make enough money so why cant they afford to out some signs They need to stop charging for stupid stuff.I have never in my life wanted to give this bad of a review.The workers act like you shouldn't be talking to them.Terrible customer service. I have been to gas stations with better employees. The people who work here need some manners and better techniques .I hope they wont miss me because I wont be coming here for a while now

I will forever love this park! It has always been so special to me because of the memories from childhood to now. I think that everyone that comes to GA to visit or is a resident of GA should go to this park at least once! There are so many fun rides & it's definitely a park worth visiting! We will be back soon! I went there for a school event and I had forgotten how fun it was to go. I hadn't been there for about 5 year so, I didn't know what to expect since the last time I was there I was 12 years old.

Family fun.. lines moved quickly and the park was clean. We had a ball!! Family outing.. party of 15.

Great value. Had some holiday in the park tickets given to me and upgraded them. No one was there so we easily got into rides and restaurants.
Definitely noticed that most people that worked there weren't friendly. Started with security not given us directions on what they wanted when we entered. Went to get food later and workers in the restaurant just looked at us and didn't tell us until we'd been there a few minutes that they wouldn't start serving for another 30 minutes. I'm not expecting Disney but don't expect rudeness and so many joyless workers. I can only remember a few people that were friendly. The people trying to take our photos and Nancy in guest relations. With season passes we'll go back again and hope to have a more positive experience with the workers. The rides and environment was very nice for the holidays.

All the rides! So many to choose from! Didn't know what to ride but I had fun.

First time here we got our member passes and we couldn t be happier with the outcome. I was surprised to see how much rides they had for the kids which was our main concern. We all enjoyed ourselves and can t wait to be back!

This place is amazing. I ve ridden every ride here.

If you are not a normal sized person DO NOT GO TO TO SIX FLAGS OVER GA! The rides are tiny. They are not built for anyone over 6 feet tall or over 250lbs.
Also, do not I REPEAT DO NOT sign up for the membership too early. After my BF and I went and we couldn't fit on the rides we weren't able to cancel our memberships. So I am paying a fee for something that body shames people who aren't normal sized.

Per my conversation today -
"I do apologize about that ma'am, we do not try to shame people. There are restraints for our guest so that they are completely safe on our rides.
We do offer special seating on select rides for guest are not " normal size""

Great place to enjoy weekend time and love the roller coasters....

One of the attractions stopped working ... with ppl on it. They were trying several times to make it work but finally they had to close it. Horrible food! Nothing healthy. Dirty place. A lot of dust...

Had fun and they are most definitely keeping the place clean and sanitized.

This used to be an amazing park!! Literally!! this park was on top! But as the years went by the park has went down,down, down, and down, the customer service is just pathetic, they won t even provide you with a simple straw for when you loose or drop your current. They will act like you re asking for a cup, for free, when you re simply asking for a replacement straw. Then they will offer you to buy a cup instead just simply giving you a straw. Then the employees can get real disrespectful and childish, makes you not even feel like a customer, just few rides and restaurants have good customer service. I really, trust hope SixFlags would stop hiring these young bad teens as employers and get some mature adults because as of now, they re customer service is piss poor. I m really thinking about spending my money at another theme park because this one has gone down. I would hate to see this park get shut down because of guest dealing with piss poor customer service.

The new COVID procedures are awesome. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the children area has limited staff and not all the rides were operating.

Always have a great time. the lines are too long for food because they don't always open all food and drink places.

Always a great place to hang around. I love the river thunder ride, justice league rides and dahlonega train ride. Fright fest is one of the best time to be in six flags. Love the christmas lightings too.

Great park with many roller coasters. Love the old school Monster Plantation ride for a little nostalgia and clean fun. The new water park is very well manitained and concessions are readily available. Just be prepared to walk... Everywhere. Sky Bucket is great for getting from one side to the other so if you're older or have difficulty walking long distances, you might want to bring really comfortable shoes.

My daughter brought a friend today who took on the coasters fearlessly and I think we have created a coaster fanatic

Always a fun time! Great rides! Prices suck though. Everything is gouged. 10 bucks for two bottles of water? Charge more money for certain attractions in the park after you have already paid admission? Typical amusement park bologna. But always leave with a smile in the end!

Was highly disappointed during my recent, first visit here. I was visiting from Florida. Decided to take the kids to the Waterpark first because the wait for the rides were so long. After we finished with the Waterpark, it rained and their electricity went out at the entire park. Mind u, it was not a severe or thunder storm, just regular rain nonstop for an hour. All of the rides at that point shut down until closing time. Wasted my money. We did not get to go on any of the rides. I could've just taken them to a regular park with a pool. I'll stick to my Florida theme parks. This park doesn't even deserve a 1 star

I've been going to this park for over 3 years now. It's bad, pretty bad. Here's the basic rundown. When you get into the park the front generally looks pretty ok. You can get.into the park rather quickly just make sure you watch the lines movements. Once in the park the shops are in the front. All look very nice and sell pretty decent stuff. The rides are fine there's a kids land and everything etc. Now here's the cons. The restaurants are terrible. The floors are sticky and they just look horrendous. The food is overpriced (I have a dining pass). The only thing I eat there is the nachos at nacho macho even though the restaurant looks bad. The plants their smell really bad and attract tons of bees. The walking paths throughout the park are sticky from people pouring there drinks out. The only thing worth while there is the water park. The wave pull is pretty awesome and the slides. The only problem with it is the four person water ride. The water taste like pee (Had to find that out the hard way). The park seriously needs some renovating because the old restaurants are absolutely horrendous. Also this one ride named monster something is like a house between Jr sports bar and the D.C kids area. IF YOU HAVE ALLERGYS TO MOLD OR MILDEW DO NOT GO IN THERE. That ride has been there for over 30 years and they never clean it out. The amount of mold and mildew burns my nose whenever I pass it. Other than this is not a bad park for cheap fun. I just advise that you don't buy any food and try to enjoy

Amazing experience, A good bundle of rides, if your looking for a unique experience then the superman is a great one! Along with the joker,
The goliath is my favorite because of its drops.
The theme park is great but also packed in the afternoon. Theres diners if your hungry, and treats like dippin dots and funnel cakes.

Wish I could give less than 1 star. It used to be a great place to go with the family. Now you can't do anything without waiting 2+hrs, tickets are way over priced, parking is over priced, food and drinks are outrageously over priced, Staff is extremely rude and act like you are wasting their time or they don't want to be there. Rides look like garbage, need to have better maintenance. Was extremely disappointed.

I expected the high prices for concessions, so that wasn't too bad. My only critique would be the trouble with the layout. There's not much flow to it, just kind of go from one place to the other.
That said, the variety of rides was great, and as a thrill seeker, the coaster selection was top notch. Definitely going back soon.

The park itself is nice, however the service with the add ons of the food plan was beyond subpar. It was terrible. The refillable cup was a nice thought, however, most locations didn't have ice. Or if they did have ice, they didn't have soda. It was comical how many times we refilled our cups with warm soda on a 90 degree day. Great! No one knew much of a thing about the meals offered in the plan. Everytime we would ask we would get a complete run around. We ended up not using one of the meals do the confusion so it was a complete waste of money. Every worker had a attitude and the food service restaurants didn't make the food even remotely appealing. Even getting the snack on the plan was a headache. The dipping dots truck had 10 flavors advertised, however only chocolate an d vanilla were available. Really? Overall it was a good park ride wise, but it was ruined by confusion and terrible service.

Great place to spend all day. My fiance and I had a lot of fun. Definitely recommend getting the membership if you're planning on going often. We were able to use their Express line to enter and got a cup with free refills. Also, taking a backpack is very useful.

I love this park so much more than the one near us in New Jersey! The kids rides are newer & better. We had an awesome day even in the rain.

Way more fun than the bigger overpriced parks like Disney and Universal...if you're more into ridding rides rather than all the fluff.

The fact that a parking spot costs me 2 hours of hourly pay is a bad enough start but now they require you use a locker to hold on to your things? And it's $5 per 2 hours? So it costs me ANOTHER $25 just to put a sack down for 5 minutes at a time? And not every ride even has a locker?? And then I can't drink my water while I wait in direct sunlight in line because it's in a locker at the entrance? Plus the website says the park opened at 10:30 the day that I came but it opened at 10 so I was not able to avoid the crowd like I had planned based on false information their own direct website provided. To top it all off it smells like trash throughout most of the park and the staff is about as polite. Very disappointed at what $150 gets these days. Horrified about what the food is going to taste like.

4 rides closed for maintenance as we were waiting in line. Multiple eateries were closed, the one we did find took 45 miutes to get chicken nuggets then were very rude when I asked for a refund. The food is over priced 3 burgers. 2 chicken nuggets $95.00. The park is closing at 9pm but everything is shutting down by 8pm. This was the biggest waste of money and the most disappointing park we have ever visited.

Too much fun. The lines were not that busy. I would recommend going throughout the weekdays

Had fun on Sunday with family. We arrived early and there were barely any lines, 5-10 minute wait max. It started getting crowded around 2-3ish. Goliath and batman were the family favorite.

One star for the Train. One star for the old timey cars. Additional stars will be added upon the return of Buford the Buzzard, Mo-Mo The Monster, Drunken Barrels, Chevy Show, Wheelie, and Bumper Cars.

This place has really gone down hill since about 1997.

Always love going to Six Flags! Even if I have sever motion sickness! Though this was the first time I went and alot of the vendors were closed for some reason....? I found that odd, but still had an awesome time!

Ticket prices were very fair! However the place was so dirty & their food areas were very very nasty! Rides were amazing & lines were moving at a good pace. However, visiting this park made our family have more appreciation For the Disney Parks. Disney Parks are very expensive...however their parks are super clean, eating areas are EXTRA clean as well as their bathrooms! Also Six Flag employees are not very pleasant. They are simply at work to draw a check. Their attitude & work quality that they give is past poor!

The rides are always down. W2 out of the three times I ve gone this year, half the roller coasters are out. And when you only have 2...debatably 3 good coasters, this place s track record isn t too good. Don t waste your money

My family had a great time at sfog this year!! Season passes etc....kids first roller coaster ride..it was awesome! Customer service could be better, however I have no complaints! 2 hr drive and a lot of fun for us!! What happened to all the picture stands???? Only 2 now! The Goliath and The Log Water ride..need more photo booths!!

Pretty brutal and disgusting. Everything is dirty. Bad food, really bad service, and the park feels too small.

We go to other Six Flags and have a way better experience. My kids were asking to leave after a few hours.

Would give 1 star, but my last ride was on Twisted Cyclone so put me in a good mood. Phenomenal ride!

Six flags Over Georgia is overall a great place to hang put with people and enjoy yourself

We went for halloweenfest it was fun but some rides were closed. Wait times were no more than 15 minutes! They did a great job with social distancing, sanitizing, and everyone was expected to wear a mask.

The roller coasters are amazing but the workers need more enthusiasm!!!!!

Worst park experience ever. I ve never been to a park with sketchier staff. On the Superman ride, they had issues with the seats, so they started locking people in using a special key. Ok cool, no big deal, except rather than checking everyone, when I got on they locked me in, and skipped the dude next to me and his daughter. They were absolutely panicked and when they flagged the worker down, he just shrugs and goes oh you re fine. It took the person at the controls telling the dude to go back and check them for them to actually just check. The park is overall pretty slow today, especially for a holiday, yet every single restaurant has ridiculous wait times because the staff is just standing around with dumb looks on their faces. Tried even stopping at a side place just to get some wings, and after twenty minutes of waiting in line (for only 4 people in front of me) I get there and he had no food prepped and said it would be 10 minutes. Looking through the window I could see trash piled up in the floor. It s only 4 o clock and if it weren t for friends I d already be driving home. For my first time at a Six Flags Park, this is a total disappointment. I expected way better. Ya, they ve got some great rides, but the overall incompetence makes the entire park look like a joke. Get some better management in here and clean this place up.

Six flags is turning into a joke..wait 1.5 hours to be told a ride is down.only to wait in another to be told its down too...i feel like this is a way to rake profit in without shortening the life of the mechanics of the rides..the only way to enjoy this park is with the flash pass...very money orientated with the rouse of providing a family friendly environment...ive been to almost every six flags and this is the least fun park...springfield mass. Topped this one for me...with all of texas being top tier

Long lines, told me to take my face paint off during Halloween, photos they take aren't that good. Candy along with treats aren't too gourmet and over priced. No fresh fruit or smoothie options. No face drawers or clowns with balloons. All outside games you have to pay for but come with toy if your lucky. No bubbles in the air. Themes aren't too set. Not enough classic games like ball games or regular park here and there to help lines and ones with babies relax. Not clear what to do, no visible signs when you first get there so it's a bit over whelming.

Hot..exspensive,but fun.. I feel as if the Go Karts should be included with the 71.00 pass...&the 11$funnel and 5$ water..plus 25.00 parking 50$..for a cabana..

Great new roller coaster ride. Went twice and loved it.

Wonderful park, lots of fun, carnival games, entertainment, tones of rides for all ages, and even a playground. I suggest the season pass with premium dinning pass (comes with free parking pass too) so can go as many times as you want without spending any money there. They even have a ton of extra stuff like character drawings, jewelry engraving, dress up photos, henna tattoos, and to many other things to mention. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Lines for rides move pretty quick. Park is always clean too.

Six Flags was fun and exciting we had so much fun we are going back tomorrow

Lots of entertainment, rides and food. Food overpriced, but expected.

Spent 2 hours sitting in traffic just to get to the parking lot. They need to change how they verify parking/reservations so traffic doesn't overflow. Car lines would be at a standstill for 15 mins straight, but the parking lot was wide open.

The experience was great and I would give it more stars, but the service at the restraunts is terrible. I waited in line for an hour to get a pizza(that i didnt even end up getting because the prices were so bad) and the person behind me got theirs first. The lady there only served one line and to the others, she was like, "oh we've been cutting your pizza for 30 minutes." I looked at the prices for pizza and decided to just get a coke. I swear the people ther have the memory of a goldfish. They ask me what size and drink I want. I tell them. They ask me again. I tell them. THEN THEY ASK ME THE SAME QUESTION FOR THE THIRD TIME. Overall, the rides are decent and have decent wait times, but the service is terrible.

This place is so run down and not worth the money. The staff is HORRIBLE on top of everything.

Considering the circumstances of the pandemic it was a great place to visit however, customer service was horrible!!. The staff were not happy to be there. I was not happy wearing the mask because of the heat, the mask made it worse to bear the heat! I really hope customer service improves!!

Fun for the whole family, highly recommend memberships and dining passes, love fright fest and holiday in the park the most.
