For what it's worth it's just ok overpriced for sure but normal. Flash pass is your friend not the heat & lines

We've had seasons passes for the last couple of years. It's a bargain and if you can go on a slow day, the lines move very fast. I've experienced some awesome kids working there too.

It's changed so much over the years so much fun no lines, had a great time

This place has turned into a joke.Other than Everything being over priced the staff is extremely rude, no one that works here looks like they are glad to be here. It s extremely dirty and smells too, between the road tar smell and the trash smell it was almost to much. I ll take my money to Wild Adventures,Disney, Universal, anywhere but here. I gave them 2 chances, I m done.

Six Flags is great, its a great family spot.Yea the lines are bit long, but you can buy a pass to skip the line. I was reading the previous comments and realize that some people will complain regardless. How do you complain about the heat ? Six Flags has no control of the outside temp( Go when its not so hot!!!!!) and of course the food prices are high they are convenient ( you can go out the park and eat your on lunch and come back in.)
Six Flags is a great place, it might be a little high (not really), but the park is huge and they do have expenses.

My sister and I were extremely , EXTREMELY , disappointed in Six Flags, when it came to having the riders waiting in the lines there was no air/fans to keep us cooled off and it was so hot today. SMH. And on top of that rides kept having technical difficulties - like come on. (While there ,3 rides had those problems, worse was Superman, no words for that ride )But besides those big problems everything was okay. Nothing major or to hype up. Just do better Six Flags.

Great for kids although it was hard for me to enjoy as an adult after having a great Disney experience and considering I'm not into thrilling rides. But the kids loved it and I love that hurricane harbor is included to get some water experience especially during hot summer days and if you're unable to do both white water and over Georgia. Great thrilling ride selection. 2in1.

There are 6 lanes to enter the park but they only have 2 open. Sitting in line just to park fort 30 minutes. Pretty smart not to hurry up customers into your business and spend money to keep you afloat

My kids had a blast running from one end of the park to the other.

AWFUL. So unorganized. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS. I am NOT paying $6 for a bottle of WATER. Oh but wait they had a special deal for water... 2 water bottles for 10 dollars. Never coming back ever again. The lines are miserably long, and fast passes are just as expensive. The workers are so rude, not the mention this place is getting so much money... they should atleast clean their place up. So disappointed. Please do not waste your money coming here. Go to dollywood or even disney.

It was fun got to meet boys and tide fun rides and now I got a boyfriend soon thanks six flags

Half the rides closed. Bought all day soda cups... They ran out of soda and ice.

Fun park with some good coasters.

Fun place but needs attention.... several rides closed or suddenly stopped and had to close. About half of the food places were closed. The two stands I visited for snacks didn't have what was on the menu. Overall cleanliness was 1 star. All counters, tables, eating areas, bathrooms needed a thorough cleaning or at least a wipe down. Lots of fun here, just needs attention. Our family bought season passes last year and visited 3 of the parks. Bought again this year... hope they address some of the issues.

Long lines, running empty trains too often, some of the best rides closed, lots of employees looking busy but not doing anything, can t sit where you want in rides. Won t be back.

Been going to Six Flags for almost 40 years now. Wow! I can t believe it. It never gets old. I remember when I was a child going with my cousins, crying on the Scream Machine, and having a blast. Now me and my children go. Season Passes are such a good deal due to new COVID-19 regulations. Masks are required. A lot of people do not social distance so watch out for them and be safe while having fun .

Overall we had a great time. It wasn t very busy and we got a ton of ride time. One thing that could use some attention is employee attitude and customer service. They all seem to be hating life! It s a family theme park I mean come on, hire people that care!

Would have had a better time if the employees weren't completely incompetent. If an employee is unsure about a safety harness and you see them shrug their shoulders and say it should be fine, that means you need a new employee. Literally didn't see one employee that seemed to know what they were doing. Definitely never going back. Anyone who values their family's safety shouldn't go

Awesome amusement park. I suggest going at the beginning and end of the season when it's still cold. You'll have to bundle up but there will be no lines! I also suggest leaving the park for food. The food is extremely overpriced - close to $20 for a chicken strips basket and a drink - and it tastes awful, even the chains somehow are worse in the park. So just save your money and taste buds, there's a Wendy's and more within walking distance of the park.

There was no toilet paper in the stall and had to wipe with a mysterious strip of pictures that came out of the wall oddly of me taking the poop in said stall!.......also door was a curtain!

1 out of 5 WILL NOT POOP HERE AGAIN!

Holiday in the park was awesome. I loved how the trees were decorated, especially the large candy cane colored tree. The kids had a great time.

The mind bender i felt like my body was going to push together and it hurt i was bending down. But everthing else like the goliath was awsome

We had such a great time there! We went on a day where there weren t many people there so we got right on the rides with little to no waiting! If you like thrill rides, they have some pretty incredible roller coasters!

Lines to long and hot and rude people! And employee's don't know nothing about nothing except for you have to stand in line!

Fun place, I love rides, I would only go in now on weekdays. Please avoid going on weekends. In season, lines are too long, my 4yr old, 40% rides were shutdown, on my 4 visits last year. Needs a large and over due makeover and better food stalls

The bad:
The wooden roller coaster was awful. My husband and i rode it together. We love a good thrill but all this roller coaster did was cause us extreme pain for 2 days. The "Great American Scream Machine" needs some serious W240& it was unreal how painful it was immediately after and the next day. Our neck was so sore. Unsure if it was the specific cart we were sitting in, but I'm sure we aren't the only ones who felt this way after.
Some of the ride attendants were acting like they werent at work or incharge of a serious machine that can kill someone. Laughing,playing around and not paying attention. The young adults probably need better management to keep check of them. One of them literally asked, "was that you?" Because the bathroom smelt like someone had used the restroom. Very unprofessional.
The good: Ride lines were extremely short and gave us a good adrenaline rush. We bought a cup and was able to fill it up as much as possible. We had a good time and truly enjoyed ourselves and will be back dispite the minor issues we experienced.

Six flags has always been a great place for family time or anything really. I love my time there the food is wonderful highly recommend the food pass if u go often...AND the cup because I don't know anyone who don't like free refills, the rides are not that scary I personally don't like the Dare devil or the joker but I'm all in for any other rollercoaster and never again acriphobiah (spell check)
..i do think it should be a giant screen the block out some sunny parts of the park. Maybe more seats or benches at the park for older people an younger kids who have to wait around.

It is entirely what you make it. Plan ahead and go prepared. We are season pass holders. We've gone on super busy days and super slow days. The service is usually good. Most of the 5000 people (lol) that work here are pleasant and helpful. But seriously, if you're only able to go to six flags ONE time a year, do NOT go on a busy day! You will be disappointed and feel like you wasted a lot of money.

I could write a book on how to make the most of your six flags trip, but long story short GOOGLE IT and plan ahead! :-)

I relocated from Orlando so theme parks are not foreign to me. What was however is the hills at Six Flags. Pushing a double stroller around with a one year old and a four year old was tiring! The important thing tho is my boys enjoyed their selves.

It is a great place with great rides. It is tree lined, so there is shade on the hottest days. Lines can be long, as with all theme parks, but I went on July 6th in the middle of the week in summer and there was no one there until about the late afternoon. Try going the middle of the week 1st thing in the morning to avoid crowds. Great place!

Most rides were closed on Sunday their food selection very poor very overpriced

I love this place. I have been coming here every year for over 20 years. My only complaint is that the staff always seem mad and the food lines take forever. To add to that, the food needs some diversity. every food place sells almost the same thing, and they are almost always out of drinks everywhere. I wish that they would invest in healthy options like wraps, more salads, more flavors of Powerade..etc. Back to the positives. The park is generally clean and easy to get everywhere.

Lot's to do here! The smaller kid section was pretty cool also. The concessions are a bit high but you can get your hand stamped and leave out to go eat near by and return. I love the fact they have special days to bring a friend , when you have a season pass. If you are a thrill seeker this is a great place to go and a season pass is well worth it.

I Love this place. Wish I lived closer to walk. When I lived in New Orleans, I went every weekend before Katrina. Membership and food pass is the only way to go. No matter how many times I go, it never gets old. There is always something to do. The atmosphere is energizing. The staff and food are also awesome. Think about it, unlimited soft drinks " woohoo " don't worries, they have diet for you to. So if you ever on I-20 between Atlanta and Birmingham. Besure to check Six Flags out.

It is a bit pricey, but there are some awesome roller coasters. We had very short lines and got to ride everything we wanted to.

I wish the staff where more friendly and prices are way to high but everything else was great

Super easy to find. I could probably find it even without GPS and that says a lot for me. The kids had a great time and it was easy to navigate. Can't wait for fright fest.

Terrible customer service. The park looks ran down and the food is poor quality.

We had A great time at six flags its a great place for family fun. One price you can stay all day and ride all the rides in the park. Look out it can be expensive playing games our buying food or drinks. they are way over price but hey ain't that every theme park!?!?!

The park hasn't changed much over the years. There is still trash and debris across the park. But its cleaner than it used to be. The rides are still fun and the Twisted Cyclone is the smoothest ride there!

We are monthly membership holders here. It is worth every penny. Good food great times! Lines aren't as bad as you'd think.

Definitely get your thrills! Tried rides that sound half as crazy as they actually are - and loved it!

Had too many events happening on one day: cheer, band, and girl scout day. Was very crowded, and the restaurants within could not handle it. Had no choice but to wait an hour for food. Lines were long all day, not just dinner hours... It was an hour wait even to get a drink. Either it was poorly staffed and unprepared for the crowds (when you bring all these families on one day, you have to bring more staff) or the staff wasn't well trained for their job. Ride lines were shorter! Compared to other six flags parks we have been to, this one is small, fewer rides and some were temporarily shut down. The wait to get into the parking lot was long as well, I think they had equipment malfunctions. We also had limited signal at the park, but we also think the website server couldn't handle the traffic. We were there for the cheer competition, and they had special offers that were difficult to purchase, both at home prior to arrival or at the park. I recall the same happening during the labor day flash sale last fall... We are season pass holders, and if it wasn't able to be used at Six Flags in Gurnee as well, we would not renew for this location.

Six Flags is a very cool and fun park for adults, young adults, and teens. The roller coasters are very fun and scary. I do not like the Batman one, because it makes me feel dizzy, but I love the Superman ride. The food in the park is good, the employees are nice, and the parking is reasonable. The waterpark that is inside the park is very nice and fun specially the black rain which is very scary. As well, the park is clean at all times. This park remained me of Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL.

Good place, just accommodate plus sized people. We want to ride rollercoasters too

The park is ok. Ive been to better Six Flags parks. Too many young teenagers running the rides and restaurants. On top of that most of the restaurants are usually closed. Lots of rides break down there as well. The Great American Scream Machine is a very very rough ride it feels like you've been beaten up after this ride. My wife and i went on it first and after we rode it we were to afraid too let our kids ride it. Our knees back and knecks were sore after riding it.The coaster in my opinion needs a complete refurbishment. Very rude and disrespectful employees. People pay way too much money for the quality of service and rides at this park. For the only Six Flags in the area of east southern states it should be a alot nicer park with more rides. There also should be more things for smaller children to do between ages 3-6 years of age. My daughter loves rollercoasters.. And shes 4 years old...and the only one she can ride is the Joker fun house coaster. I really would appreciate as a Diamond elite season pass holder and food season pass holder that these things are looked into. I have a family of six and spend a lot of money to go to this park. Oh and flash passes for the season should be alot cheaper.......$499.00 dollars per person is ridiculous.

Hot and miserable, they need to have the line areas shaded from the sun with fans and/or misters. The temperature was 95 and the lines were in direct sun with no type of cooling system setup. Guests were overheating all over the park and abandoning lines to find shade and or ac.

Of course it's hot and full of people but my son and I always have fun!

Ride were great and they were fun. However, the lack of fans in line areas made some lines almost unbearable. For instance, the line for the Batman ride takes you through and indoor system with almost no windows, and at one point I felt like we were all baking in there. Also take your money because this is a money pit. Everything is super expensive.

Typical six flags. Food is over priced left under warmer food and served by teenagers thay would rather play around then do their job. They really need new management as work ethic comes from the top down.

Fun rides and mediocre food, but the park is not well kept up and staff are inconsistent in thier helpfulness.

Cancelled my membership over the phone. I knew the phone conversation seemed too easy. I stopped receiving monthly bills, but tah dah! I got a charge for the full year on my bank statement! And guess what? You can t get an account representative on the phone. They force you to use a National Support Center via chat, where no ever responds. Suffice to say, I am going to challenge this charge with my bank.

Lines are insanely long! You can buy a fast pass that will cost much $$$. Seems they have long lines everywhere including if you are dieing of thirst and need soda or water. They offer a shuttle ride to and from your vehicles but it too takes FOREVER. So overall experience expect to wait wait and wait some more for everything you do. Rollercoaster rides are fun when you actually get to them. It's upsetting that one has to wait over 1 hour for a 2mins ride. Part of the reason rides take so long in the first place is because of the fast pass scheme. Because they let them ride the same ride over and over again if they want to and they let them cut ahead of the line. Very messed up system. They basically force you to pay more.

Kathea was super helpful in guest services today correcting some issues with mine and my family s season passes. However, I would have not given six flags a 5/5 if it were not for her brightening up our day. The rides need serious maintenance (3 major coasters were shut down at different points during the day for a majority of the day). The rest of the staff is unfriendly. And everything is really dirty, seems to be very little upkeeping.

The Christmas lights are awesome. If you have a family, get the meal plan with season tickets. Well worth it.

Lines weren't too long. Had a great time spending the day with coworkers and friends.

It's a cheap place to go and eat anytime for under $200.00

Its was fun, though the lines are way too long, dont get why you need to reserve tickets if the park is so packed, only got to ride 2 rollercoasters in the 4 hours we were there, yes we waited that long

Security is best described as rude and offensive. I'm not sure how they keep their jobs.

This place is filled with fun and excitement. I love coming to six flags especially during Christmas it is gorgeous and for Halloween its really scary. Because employs dress up in scary costumes and go around scarring people it is so fun and i recommend going to six flags.

First time going to the holiday event, not too crowded. Had a great time eating smores and riding rides.

The lights was beautiful. I am glad my family went.

Great place for the whole family. The annual membership allows me to enjoy the park over multiple trips. Definitely would recommend the annual membership for folks who are local.

To expensive 52 for a ticket, and 25 for parking if it storms you missed out on a whole lot of money not to mention other than coasters ride kinda suck its 6 bucks for a 20oz soda. And food is also pretty pricey, make sure you bring a good chunk of money.

The lines were longer than lines at Disney world Florida before the virus and an employee pulled their mask down to yell about us not wearing masks correctly they also closed half the carts for sanitization even though they used the same cars multiple times with out wiping them the entire park was literally an uphill battle because how steep every path was and the lines proved that they didn't limit the amount of people in the park

Good value, great roller coasters (except GASM), and great customer service. Recommend buying tickets in advance and getting there 30 min before opening to have the shortest lines during the coolest part of the day.

Big 5 stars! Two west coast adults in search of something to do in Atlanta that doesn't consist of eating for a few hours. We've both been to a ton of aquariums but we're truly blown away. We could have spent hours watching the manta rays and whales in the large aquarium. They have a conveyer belt that you could ride or you can just stand or walk through. It was hard to tell from the website but it was completely indoor. Great for a bad weather day. We spent 2 hours were able to see all of the exhibits without any of the shows (dolphin/sea lion). We will be back again!

Is there any form of cooling!? It was so freaking hot. I'm a bit dramatic when it comes to heat but there really wasn't any air conditioning.

Most of the Restaurants are closed and there are big lines for the public and none of the workers are happy.

Will never go back, not my first amusement park by any stretch but the lines for the rides went ok everything else was way to slowwwwwwwww hour in line to eat at 2pm is ridiculous, 45 minutes for a funnel cake at 3pm insane 45 minutes to get some jelly beans unheard of. Thats all thanks!
