Great hospital with skilled specialists. Greatly modernized in the sfg walk period.

Waiting time was not super long. It is expected here that you know what needs to happen to you. They 'think' that it is not very bad, but never take action. I think you are the doctors here and it is your duty that there is certainty about me and that it does not get any worse. 2 stars for the hot chocolate.

Paying for parking is one thing. If your machines are broken, you cannot keep 50 people waiting in line. With 0 degrees outside. Hospitals and customer satisfaction ...

Yesterday had an investigation at the Franciscus Gasthuis and I was helped very well. My conclusion is :
Very good hospital, skilled and very friendly nursing, nothing but praise. Thank you all.

Our toddler fall and hit her head. We got an appointment for in 40 minutes, waited after arriving there for only 25 more min. Doctor was very friendly, competent, examined our daughter thoroughly and explained everything clearly to us. Best experience! Thank you very much!

Appointment of 20min in the morning.10: 30h
Upon returning to car (total 30min.) The parking card appeared to be lost.
11: 00h Reported at reception / security. No other option than buying a day ticket.
12euro for 30min parking no possibility for half a day. No help offered. scandalous

In the past half year I went to St Francis twice with my son for ingrown toenail. 1 time in Schiedam the other time in Kleiweg. Both times were a visit for my child. The first time we really had a terribly disinterested nurse who also badly connected the foot, so there was a great after-bleed. So for the next appointment but chose the Kleiweg, it only got worse. This time a very sweet nurse but a doctor who was so rushed and nonchalant .. quantity was clearly higher on his list than quality. As soon as the doctor injected the anesthetic into the enormously inflamed toe, he immediately started cutting !! Normally (and this was the 8th time !! so enough experience with the procedure) at least 10 minutes was waited for the anesthetic to work. Now the doctor started right away ... our concerns were dismissed! The result: my son almost fainted in pain and the nurse REALLY had to intervene to get the doctor to stop him !! simply outrageous !! We had to wait for almost 8 weeks for the appointment and then it was soon soon be canceled by one or another doctor they had plucked from the corridor because the doctor who was going to do the procedure was working elsewhere. NEVER more Saint Francis !!

Do not go to this hospital!
Only hospital ever. Girlfriend breaks the pain and lets them wait for hours. Is sent home and still has trouble. Day later again severe pain and again 4 hours waiting until she is helped. Do not go to this hospital!

Very poor service, patients here are seen as a burden by the nurses and treated as such. Irresponsible nurses who abuse their position of power when the doctors are not present. The nurses have no sympathy for patients at all. Two faces of the nurses when the doctors are present.

I had to inform the nurses that I can go home from the doctor, while the doctor asked them about the further explanation of medicine prescription (handing over the prescription and where to pick it up). An hour of waiting no one came to explain me and get my IV, my family still had to visit the nurses to help me. The nurses responded that they were too busy and that we could just leave. They didn't understand why I was still waiting for them. Outraged, I asked for my doctor's prescription and about taking my IV. Oh yes, one of them responded and said she was going to check it out, but you can also take the IV out yourself, she muttered.

Patients are not treated as people here. Do not wish anyone to come here. It is not a hospital here, but a hospital. Only in and not out. Completely different from Erasmus hospital. All the more reason to no longer live in the north.

Twice experienced a birth from my wife. Once a caesarean section and once of course. Both times well and professionally treated and expired. In addition, also positive about a minor other intervention and emergency help for my son. A minus point is that there is usually minimal, but sufficient, occupancy, but you cannot blame the hospital, but the current healthcare budgets.

During my admission I had super treatment from both the nursing staff and the doctors. Not really useful for allergy sufferers

My experience with this hospital is not that good. This has to do with the fact that I was not properly informed in advance about the risks of the examinations, such as an EEG scan (from which I have neurological complaints) but certainly also a CT scan. I also think that a CT scan is done too quickly and easily, while in some cases this is not necessary. These scans use a lot of radioactive radiation. It has been scientifically proven that it is not harmless to humans. As a patient, I think you should be informed about this, but the doctor will not give you this information in advance. You just have to know it yourself. In addition, I am not satisfied with the feedback / answers from the radiology department / ct. This gave me information about the radiation dose that turned out to be factually incorrect. The radiation dose is considerable that is used, considerably higher than, for example, at Erasmus MC. The St. Franciscus Gasthuis should be more aware of the dangers of a CT scan and should inform patients about this so that they can take this into account in their choice.

And before St. Francis arrives I must report these complaints to a counselor. I already did that.

Been to i.v.m a number of times now. my Osteoarthritis knees and I can only be positive. Friendly staff, good information and the feeling that you are being taken seriously. No, I am extremely positive and satisfied.

I was at the emergency room with my wife last Sunday. We were well helped by a brother from Belgium. Everything went correctly, politely and very smoothly. In short, a pleasant experience with the first aid.

Terrible hospital ... very impersonal and poor communication. I am now very pregnant, had an appointment at 11 am to do an ultrasound for the growth. There is only room at 1.45 pm. My question is why an appointment is made before 11am when there is no room for the ultrasound at that time. And this is not all that happened ... they make mistakes from the start!

Super hospital, I cannot say otherwise. my wife's delivery went super. the treatment of my little one was also great, the treatment of my grandmother was also super. and this year back for a miscarriage. and this one was super run through. Keep going.

Even 1 star is still too much will not talk about myself but, 2 years ago I got to know a young woman who got a gastric bypass after a first sleep and in the 4 weeks that I was there I have a regime of seeing women pass by with so many problems after a gastric bypass that it's just more fun. Now two her further the poor child was in so much pain and was not taken seriously. Well let's do an ultrasound 10 super large gallstones. The pain remained afterwards she received a pain pump morphine to be sent home for 4 days, every day I had her on the phone. Last Sunday I said enough you are now going to the emergency in Schiedam as they have sprayed her with morphine. She has 3 children at home. She could no longer walk. Her nan had to carry her. She just had to call her doctor in SFG Rotterdam. Come right before mri. Old blood and fluid in her stomach now she is in the hospital again, they have touched it and sucked it away. She still has so much pain now she will be operated on again tomorrow, this is her 10 th operation in 2 years. My advice is to find a hospital where they listen to you and when you say that all your food comes out they look at why and don't come up with stupid answers. Enough is no longer a Sint Fransiscus guesthouse.

The care in this hospital is plainly dredging! Both the expertise of doctors and the bazale care is not enough. There is a heavy understaffing and therefore pressure of work which is uncontrollable. The doctor himself admitted that. You must do your best to speak to a doctor. They leave patient and family members to their fate. There are only more inexperienced inexperienced assistant doctors or in training. They all work past each other. Both the nursing and the doctors. With the exception of a number of sisters, most are unfriendly. In short, the patient only gets sicker here, no treatment plans, patient interest is unfortunately not central here. I am talking about the department of Lung Disease and Seh. Advice to everyone not to come to this hospital for good care!

Just talked to the GP post. My wife has a broken toe and according to the lady on the phone my wife has to heal at home because it wouldn't be a big complaint. Her toe has turned completely purple and is inclined to the other toes. She must not come to hospital for a broken toe. I really don't think this is possible and when I ask the name of the lady I spoke to, she says she shouldn't give her name. Maybe you can find out who it was. Spoken July 22 at 11:15 pm. Recorded at surgery 1. I found everyone in the ward really very sweet, skillfully funny. From those who did the rooms, those who came with the meals, nursing ect. Simply wonderful. I thought it was a shame that I was not allowed to stay.

Health service is a little better than with us, but without madness.

Uses an outdated and rigid protocol that leaves no room for individual requirements / needs. Probably sufficient for simple treatments, but completely unsuited for a more complex demand for care.

Must say that I, in contrast to quite a few reactions here, have just good experiences with the SFG (and that for years for various matters). Of course there is always room for improvement - in every hospital - hence the 4 stars, but this is definitely a knowledgeable and pleasant hospital.

My deadly ill father who had to report to the emergency room immediately, has been waiting in a wheelchair for two and a half hours !! Bunches of rude nurses eating their noses out there! They don't even speak to you with respect! Only a few have chosen their profession with their heart! Where has all the respect you would expect on an emergency aid? !! There are few who still do their job as it should! I can still put so much here ... a waste of my time! For me a big ZERO for the S.E.H !!

Yesterday evening I fell by my daughter I was brought to first aid this hospital .. I could not walk so I was on a wheelchair registered with them. When we were there at the waiting area a couple of them helped me behind me or 6 people came in. They were all in and out even walking. More than 2 hours there waiting for a wheelchair with terrible pain heleas peanut butter I was not helped. Then a fight arose and I returned home. Now I seek help from a doctor because I was sitting on a couch and can't go anywhere. I find the crappy hospital.

Health care declines in the Netherlands premiums are higher experienced doctors specialists go abroad to earn more.

Had a very bad internship experience in a nursing ward (as a student of pre-hospitalization). Was supervised very badly, saw, heard and experienced things that should not be. I also found staff among themselves disgusted to hear and see every day. I am glad that I chose to end my internship earlier at the time.

Unfortunately, I was not the only one who thought that way and many more have been stopped or bullied away.

On Sunday 2 September 2018 I gave birth to a beautiful daughter. For medical reasons I was previously admitted to this hospital. From hospital to childbirth, the hospital has always informed and guided me well. In the 9 and 10 department, great doctors work gynecologists and nurses.

What a dredging hospital this is. Not friendly, are way too late with research results (even with a tumor ???), stressed doctors. I would not entrust my life to this hospital. Downright Dredging service. I recommend not to choose this hospital if you are referred by a GP.

Only to have my tonsils already cut 6/7 appointments, now it appears that ZH not contracted with my health insurance company I already have to pay 300 in addition to my deductible. There will still be a big bill. Have not received any notification from the ZH that they are not contracted with my health insurance company. Isn't it difficult to give a report?

Had surgery on my ACNES. I was helped well at all appointments (despite having to wait more than an hour for my doctor). Operation itself was carried out well and skillfully. Have to stay overnight. Very happy with Dr. Dunkelgrun and the wonderful team of Surgery 3. I hope for a speedy recovery!

This morning I visited the dental surgeon. I wanted to be stunned by an allergy other than the usual anesthetic. My request for another plea was resolutely refused. Now looking for a more customer-friendly dental surgeon.

We were early for visiting time. The patient was allowed to go to a waiting room. Super solution!

After a major fall, my mother was transported by ambulance to the SFG. What a lovely people they are. Really, they deserve it and ribbon
Fortunately the damage was not too bad and I was allowed to pick her up, she called me herself, because there was no cooperation from the staff. My mother also had to say that she had an infusion needle in her arm, because even there was no attention given to it. When we walked away we were only checked, nothing no info or a kind word. People, if you don't feel like it, look for other work, this was once such a nice hospital! Even the best hospital in the Netherlands!

Very bad! The doctor asked me which treatment I wanted ... While I came to the emergency room for examination. And then they have me something written and not sure if I'm really need .... Because they did not have the resources to do the proper research

This hospital is a shame. I had an appointment in cardiology and nobody was wearing a mask knowing that cardiovascular disease are a major risk factor and that the mask is compulsory in the transport and even in some streets in Rotterdam.
Then the cardiologist was supposed to give me a call but apparently he forgot the phone appointment.After many calls to ne able to reach the poly cardiology department they finally reschedule the phone appointment for today at 11:00 it is almost 1:00 o clock and still no call from the cardiologist.
When I call the department they told me that they do not know if he will call me or not and that they cannot do anything about that!
What a joke! All what matters is money.
Maybe you need to be Dutch to be cured.

I have been walking with the rheumatologist in Fransiscus for a while. And I am very satisfied with that. So when I had to go to a gynecologist, I also decided to go to Fransiscus. When making an appointment I had clearly stated what I came for and what I wanted. The gynecologist examined me, confirmed what I already knew and said he would send me to the filling clinic in the IJsseland hospital ... There is no filling clinic ... He said it could take three months before contact was made . I already received a questionnaire the next day, which I completed and sent back the same day. The next day I was called for an appointment and could go a week later. Unfortunately we had to deal with many traffic jams on the way there. I saw that we were not going to make the appointment and therefore I called to inform that we were stuck in traffic. There were more waiting for me. When we finally arrived in the parking garage, there was another waiting for me. Poorly reachable by phone so ... 8 floors of the parking garage lower and 3 floors higher in the hospital, I reported at the desk and indicated that I was 15 minutes late. The assistant briefly consulted with the doctor, who immediately said that I had to make a new appointment! The assistant could not do that. So home, immediately back in traffic ... been on the road for an hour and a half for that Jan my short last name! And now I have to wait until contact is made for a new appointment. I hope this goes as smoothly as the first appointment and they won't be as difficult next time if you are 15 minutes late due to the chaos on the road. After all, I don't get there for fun either ...

Atmosphere: excellent, staffing: Excellent, motivated, structured and also time for a friendly word. Surgeons are friendly and also make contact. Humanity is paramount here. On his Rotterdams, not dicks but brushing.

Walk here for 2 years now at Pulmonary Medicine. Staff in several instances very unfriendly, especially by telephone. No empathy at all, and generally according to feeling during the conversations. Even at dangerous moments in the picture, you are treated as if you are a burden to them.
