We used Simpson and Marwick recently for the sale of our existing property and purchase of our new one. They were extremely helpful throughout and the guidance they provided through these particularly trickier times was spot on. Never had to chase them for any updates they always kept us well informed and whenever they needed to complete something for us it was done in a timely manner.

His accessibility and frank nature took much of the usual stress out of the selling process. He was also very clear as to which member of the team we would expect to interact with at each stage. This was not the easiest transaction given it spanned the start of covid lockdown and initially had to be postponed but we received sound advice and support throughout. Bobby Fife was meticulous in anticipating the various legal hoops we would need to jump through and getting the required paperwork in order to comply with all relevant regulations. Carolyn Jones was also brilliant in helping with the key final stages, dealing with them quickly and professionally. Overall a great service and we were particularly glad to have Richard s experience and strategic advice on our side.

In Spring 2019, we used Simpson & Marwick to sell our flat in the New Town in Edinburgh. They gave great advice throughout the process. Particulars were very good and they covered all of the viewings. The flat sold very quickly for a good price.
