Lovely friendly staff, however I got there at 9am got number, was told to wait and that I WILL BE SEEN ON THE DAY. Stayed there from 9am to 3pm then I was told no one will be able to see me as they are very busy. Wasted my entire day when I could have gone somewhere else or at least booked an appointment somewhere else if I were told earlier to find some other place if they knew they cant attend to me.

Too much , horrible waiting time. 1 hour per token. One would spend his whole day here in waiting. I went twice there and waited for two hours but returned as it was taking more two hours. Even after waiting this much long you are not sure you will get your turn.

Terrible experience - I went there looking for imp...

Terrible experience - I went there looking for impartial help and advice, but the advisor was useless and completely unknowable. I turned up at 8am waited at the front door and was 2nd there - but low and behold when they opened the doors at 9am and I got to the office on the 3rd floor there was people already sitting there - how they got in is a mystery. The place quickly filled up and the guy at reception told everyone that everyone over number 9 in the queue was likely to be there for hours as they only had 2 advisors available - yet there was approximately 20 other members of staff who seemed to be sitting at there desks doing absolutely nothing except having a jolly wee chat with each other. When I seen the advisor she actually started interrogated me and made me feel like I was a criminal, she constantly asked me the same questions over and over but worded it differently as if trying to catch me out!!! What the heck is that all about? So much for impartial advice. She also kept leaving the room numerous times to ask her colleague for advice - why the hell was her colleague not dealing with me rather than this clueless woman is anyone s guess. The place is manned by a mixture of dithering old pensioners and all the other people who allegedly work there seem to spend all there time having a chit chat with each other and drinking cups of tea but are not actually doing any work! I left after wasting half a day and was still no further forward than when I arrived at the place. My advice is to seek help elsewhere from another organisation as this citizens advice office is not fit for purpose and you will only be wasting your time and effort and not get the help you need or problems resolved.
