The Lincoln Country Club Review

This course was well maintained and gorgeous as well to play.

Most of the course was in great shape. They started us on hole 10 for some reason. A few holes besides the par 3's was csrt path only. It would be nice if they would repave cart path as it was pretty rough. Other than that it was excellent.

Called several times to book a tee time, no answer. Left a message and no call back. Hard to golf if you can't book a tee time.

Fairways and greens are in really good shape. Cart paths are in really bad shape. But, enjoyed the round of golf.

Golf course is very fun to play, nice tee boxes and very big well maintained greens !! Just need to upgrade the golf carts and fix the cart paths. Very Very Rough!!! Be careful and don t spill your beverage !

A public Country Club Golf course, this nice and price is far better than some private.

Absolutely terrible people. If something gets damaged they do not care. I'm not asociated with the golf course and my car got hit and NOTHING was done they didn't even try to resolve it. They just care about that money.

I had marked this course off my list, but gave it a chance today. I am glad I did. It has turned the corner, getting back to former glory. Greens are a little slow, and firm, but it is a great layout with two really different nines. Once the greens have had time to mature, I believe it will be super. Hope they get enough play to continue the renovations. Good Job

They have completed a lot of good upgrades to the greens and tee boxes since the last time I played here.

We were there for a friends wedding, wedding was great, food was good and the staff was nice, it s an older establishment that could use some updating.

My family recently moved behind this area very pretty place house is a bueaty I was actually jealous but so proud and felt she deserved it and I was so happy for them they should feell proud

Greens and fairways nicely managed. Great course and fees are fair.

Course was in good shape Aug 15. They are doing some construction on the front so hole #2 doesn't play as well as usual.

Bad course management. There were several drunk women at Club house that were walking around deck area with no pants on. We were there for a tournament to benefit kids baseball team and these people and several of the older members there acting like this. Or people even said one of the girls was in a public place having sex with another member. Do not ever go to this course.

Course just reopened with Diamond Zoysia greens after being closed for 45 days. No course in the area is in this great of condition.

Nice place to eat. Food has always been pretty good. Prices are not bad.

First time hers at fairways and greens restaurant buffet seafood great service and great food. We'll definitely be back.

Clubhouse was Ok but there wasn't enough parking spaces for persons with handicaps.

Played 9/25/19, the Zoysia greens were PERFECT! They had to be rolling at the very least a 10, maybe 11ish or 12. Course was baked out and firm, great for this time of year due to the lack of rain. Balls seem to roll forever which is what all look for off the tee. We will be back! AAAAA+++++

We have been going here half of my life! It is a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends!

Golfers and staff are super friendly! Two areas kept me from giving it a 5 star rating.
1 - several greens have major problems with surfaces.
2 - cart paths are in dire need of repairs.
Management is aware of both problems and solutions/plans are in the works.

sad to say, the cat paths are still in terrible shape!

Jeremy, you shouldn't have worn Jeans to play golf. I thought it was common knowledge that khakis or black fabric shorts are to be worn while playing golf.

My first time here. Not too bad. I wad surprised. Give it a try.

Great golf course and great staff, the course was wet but the greens were perfect! Will be playing here more in the future!

Lincolnton Golf course has been one of My Favorite Course

Course was in great shape!! Greens were amazing. Definitely looking forward to playing agian soon.

Was a beautiful day to play golf today. Mid 80's with a slight breeze. Got what I thought was a great deal on Golf 18 for $21.00. Upon signing in, the pro asked if I'd play here before. I told him I had, but it had been since before they reworked the greens a few years ago. He informed me that they had lost some greens after that and had reworked the damaged greens and that they were "a little slow". What and understatement! All the greens were heavily sanded and most had aeration holes that had not fully recovered. A 10 foot putt required a long swing of the putter, which may or may not have gotten the ball to the hole. Extremely frustrating to say the least.

On a positive note, the fairways were great! Plenty of thick grass that gave a good feel for a crisply struck iron the tee boxes were good but many left you with an uneven stance.

Had I know the true condition of the greens in advance, I probably would have gone to another course

This course needs some serious work!! My boys played there this morning! They said the greens had a ton of sand on them and on the second fairway had several big tree limbs on it! They had people cut down trees on the course! It would be nice if they would have told us when we called about a tee time! They did say the back nine was closed! My boys wasn t impressed at all with this course!!!

Tuesday night tacos, Thursday night steaks, Friday seafood, and Wednesday nite trivia! Oh yeah!

Love the service and the weekly trivia on Wednesdays! Always a treat to exercise the noggin and its very well run.

Course open to public. With restaurant available. Challenging putting with sloped greens. Cart paths rough and in need of repairs.

We where at a golf tournament for a kids softball team they where kids all over the place play at the the clubhouse and we stopped by the clubhouse for drink and a woman was at the top of the stairs with other people taking her pants off drunk that worked at the bar some old man had his hand somewhere it shouldn't be on the deck where the kids where playing not to mention that others said she can out the bathroom with another guy not sure about that don't take your kids to this place but the course was great.

Good experience 2 times in a row. Good wings on Monday night.

Very rude staff. Showed up with collared golf shirt, golf hat, golf shoes, and a nice pair of jeans. Told me they would not allow me to play unless I was wearing khakis. No courtesy of a warning. I will not play at this course again and will go out of my way to dissuade my friends from going as well. Very disappointed.

Food is great great salad bar ,prime rib great people very nice.

The greens are not good at all, they over watered them a few months ago and it ended up killing the greens. They are trying to fix a few greens at a time, which means they have about 6-7 temporary greens right now.

Not customer friendly and very rude if you are not a member. Have also seen the course in terrible condition.

Great food, daily specials, full bar, golf with rebuilt greens recently and remodeled club house. Eat here several days a week.

Absolutely friendliest staff ever. Course is well maintained and the food is awesome.

Advertised Motown music, the band played none of that. Waited at the bar for 20 minutes to get a drink and one hour for our food. That was mediocre at best.

I am employed here and enjoy my job. Very clean, good food, good drinks and friendly people
