First time to visit , time when all were into deep cleaning to ensure people safety, Electric fan in the room was soo dusty(took a pic but unable to load it here), upholstery in the bar and restaurant was in bits and dirty (marks of moisture), and staff uniforms looks unpresentable.
We had a very pleasant experience in this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we had was extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. I could not fault this hotel and will definitely be back.

Staff were lovely and friendly..The only issue was that our family room was situated over the laundry room so the noise was quite annoying and our room was not relaxing....

I had no bath in my room which had a walk in shower for a disabled person . I was un aware of this and feel it could of been said to me . The reception ist on our arrival checked us in but didnt liase with us as to where our perspective rooms were , how to get to them . he didnt point out where breakfast was or its times of service
I indicated that I wished to pay on checkout with debit card but my booking was secured by credit card ,which I didnt want to use as pay.when I went to check out however money was taken out of credit card.we had a meal on the second night .we arrived for a 3 course option at 9.20 pm and were informed we could only have to course as the chef was off duty at 21..45.food is advertised as being served to 21.45 so we should of been able to have 3 course meal. However the food was disgusting and what was eaten was ONLY eaten as we were hungry having completed a very busy day on a course
We had the pleasure of staying in the hotel in July.. We were greeted by the lovely manager Tracy-who was treating her staff with an Ice Cream truck - To which she told us to send the kids out to grab a free treat! Was a great start and first impression. The staff here are great and accommodating. There was a bit of a wait for our room but it was sorted out. We stayed in the family suite-which was big and had a huge bathroom and tub-which the kids loved.The only downfall was the WiFi wasn't great and the room was warm-in fairness it was very warm outside as well.Beds were comfy and breakfast was good. I would absolutely recommend this hotel! Thanks to Tracy and all the staff for making our quarantine staycation the highlight of our summer. Stay safe

Staff are friendly. Great well stocked bar. Really good breakfast. Downside, leisure centre is currently closed. Was not made aware of this at time of booking. The rooms were really warm and stuffy. Needed windows open all night, which meant the traffic noise was constant.
The good points : Staff at reception are excellent as always. The room is clean with adequate supply of towels etc. Breakfast is also good with a broad range on offer.
Room for improvement : The quality of TV and reception in the room is under standard. The bar food is very poor both in terms of quality and variety.

Room was very clean with comfy beds and pillows. But it was a bit small and very warm. (Room 204) Dinner was nice in restaurant but over priced....18.50 for Thai chicken curry with very small amount of chicken. Kids meals over priced. Breakfast was only ok. Reception staff friendly.
The staff here are so nice and friendly so they are not the problem. The food is... I booked the room with dinner included thinking it would be a better option. Its not even that busy and the food was just about warm. Soup not nice. I got vegetable curry or should I say courgette curry. My husband got goujons and they were far from homemade. breakfast very disappointing.

Hotel was lovely but the service in the restaurant area was very poor we were there over three hours for started and main and we had 2 young children with us.. the food was poor also . We had to look for our bill too leave as we simply couldn't wait any longer

Well the breakfast is amazing. All the food is perfect. Staff are nice some can't understand you at all.
Now here is the bad bits. The rooms smell like they are damp and the hallways are tiny and need new carpets. The elevator is tiny. The stairs to the breakfast might as well be a skiing jump it's that steep.
Hope you like to walk the swimming pool is wait for it ................. 10 mins walk I kid you not. It's not great at all well not for family's. It has swimming lanes so a family has to stay in a lane no steam room. It is 5.5km from cork that a good 45 mins with a pram.
My advice is stay a night that's it
I was at an awards event here recently and was blown away by how nice this hotel is. Very modern and stylish. Friendly staff and great service.
The food we had at our event was too class and plenty of it too. The bedroom was spotless and beds so comfortable. I really look forward to being at another event here soon.
Had a meal with my husband in the bar restaurant this afternoon and the waiting staff paid vertualy no attention to people dinning. We were sitting for at least 15 mins from when we finished our mains and had to ask someone for dessert menu despite being passed on numerous times despite having empty plates in fount of us. Then we finally got a dessert menu after having to ask someone and were left waiting and no one came back to us despite plenty of staff surrounding us clearing tables etc. We eventually just got up and paid and left. There was also a supervisor circulating who didn't appear to notice anything going on in the bar. Another family of 5 were left waiting so long they just got up and went as well. Very poor service despite plenty of staff on the floor
Nice hotel. Loads of parking. Nice bit of gardens around it. Great place to use as a drop off point. In fairness to the hotel, they are constantly upgrading it. Only draw back are the steps up from the bottom car park. Great facilities for weddings, events, meetings.
If you like the smell of pee and stay awake all night because of loud noises, you should stay here. If you like the promise that you will get a full refund because they are not able to give you another room and then they only give you a partial refund, you should stay here. If you like black mold on the windows, you should stay here!
If you like a good night sleep in a room that doesn't smell: Do NOT stay here.
Excellent customer service in a clean, tidy and spacious hotel. Special mention to Melissa who found a book i had left behind in my room. She went above and beyond in finding it and posting back. 5 stars for me!
Met a colleague there at 11am for brunch. It wasn't very busy at that point but got busier over the 2 hours we were there. Only one member of staff on taking orders, serving dishes and doing the cash desk. Service was so slow and disappointing.
We were staying here but were attending a wedding in Vienna Woods. The rooms in Silversprings are so lovely. Really well laid out and the bed was luxurious. The hotel is spotlessly clean and wish we didn't have to leave our room behind.

135 for a room with this view. Had left the windown open but when we returned to the room it was stinking with all the fumes coming from the vents.
Check in was teadious and drawn out. Won't be staying here again.

I was at this hotel and it's conference centre for a meeting with my company. The facilities are top class and we were taken care of incredibly well by the staff.
My room was very large and comfortable. The bed was really amazing. Breakfast was lovely. So much to choose from and the staff there were very helpful too. I will be back for sure.
Food was average. Waiting times to long in resturant. Staff seemed under pressure. Room had a cleaned sticker on the door when we arrived. When i was cleaning up my child toys i found other peoples tous and rubbish under the bed. Disgusted was an understatment.

it took the staff 4 hours to take a double bed out and put in 2 single beds arrived at hotel at 4pm and recieved the keys to soom at 8 pm only satisfaction we got was because other people were late checking out not good enough we paid good money very bad service would not be recomending to anyone
Stayed 2 nights booked the suite it was amazing , and so comfortable the food in the restaurant was delicious the staff couldnt do enough for us made our safe more special .. would really recommend

Awful food, awful service, gormless staff. I just stormed out of there 30mins ago & am still livid. Also it was filthy, seats covered in stains & floor sticky. Avoid this God awful kip like the plague.

Hotel was lovely but room was extremely hot even with fan and windows open. The food was not good. We stayed two nights and didn't have dinner or a full breakfast the next day. A bit disappointed.
Poorly prepared room despite ample notice of late arrival. Arrive late as announced to a cold room, heating not on until morning time. To add insult to injury the singleglazed windows with loud construction noise transmitted through whole night. Windows with spider webs on edges. To say the least I was not impressed. Was meant to relax and be ready for a big meeting the next morning but got none of that. Not likely to come back here for my trip next month.

Very disappointed today with the service on what I planed to be a special fathers day. We booked a tabel for 9 in the restaurant for half 2. We sat down on time to order and were told that there was no more specials available even though it said available from 12 to 6... The menu was very limited and to be honest just not acceptable for a hotel of this size. We informed the waitress of this and she told us there was nothing she could do. I decided to ring the Brook Inn and within 10 minutes notice they had a tabel for 9 ready and waiting for us with a full vaired menu. I can't thank the Brook Inn enough for saving our day (fathersday ). I would highly recommend the Brook Inn. I was very disappointed and let down by Clayton hotel silver springs.
