Love b&q, they sell all diy supplies and offer great tips and advice

They don't even have half of the products you can get in b&q in UK. They stock a selection of paint testers but the full size paits "don't come in", what is the point of that?? They can't even order for you stuff they don't have (but should), at least they say they can't.. very poor shop, poor service..

This is a great place, with plenty of hardware, but the prices are outrageous. Its a good shop for small items, but find what you want and get it somewhere else.

Lovely staff plenty parking. Early in the morning is best as it can get busy in the evening. Especially at Christmas

Great value and great variety of goods. Top class staff.

If you compare their prices to the UK prices for the stuff they sell the pound is still around 2 euro which is terrible and wrong. For a lot of the items you need to order they do not even have models to look at and some of the staff was more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers.

Good store, you find everything what you need for a house! Beautiful flowers!

I entered b&q for the first time this week without an iota of how to sand paint and varnish an old chest I wanted to upcycle. I asked this older guy Eddie to help me and I've never seen anyone with so much patience in my life. A complete gentleman with a mine of information for me and I left with all the relevant gear. Thank you Eddie my chest looks like new ill be back

Pricy compared to the local builders suppliers but it has the advantage of lots of parking plus you can walk around and see what you're buying so you'll know if it is the right part

Why is there never and I mean NEVER any staff around to help? So frustrating.

Highly recommend B&Q, dealt with a lovely lady called Shelley, she was very helpful and gave us great ideas for our new kitchen.

Seems what's on line isn't always available in the Irish stores only UK. Ireland not good enough for those products?

Despite the times we are living through it was a all over good experience They had most of the products that I required was able to subsitute paint that wasnt available with a different brand nice friendly helpful staff

Some Female staff with attitude so dont ask them for help, they are too busy doing their own thing.

Lady at.the.checkout was lovely but Tony had.a little bit of an.attitude Tony u are there to help.

You can find most DIY stuff under one roof. Not the cheapest but handy sized Pack's etc, opening hours and open at the weekends come at a cost. It's not a builders merchants but a great DIY store. Lumber is expensive and of poor quality. Garden plants are also expensive and of poor quality. I find a few of the senior male members of staff very friendly and helpful other staff members are just rude, unhelpful, clueless and make you feel like walking out.

Huge has everything for home diy, an lots of parking, an access.

Good store, great range of goods and excellent garden shrubs etc.

No floor staff to help you! Waiting 13 mins in an aisle for someone that was eventually called over tannoy to help.
Eventually just rang neighbor and got his advice over the phone for a rad cover, got someone eventually to help in the coving section, was a nice guy and girl at till was extremely helpful

It is usually tidy, have variety, and a normal amount, but you have to be very careful with prices: bargains that are a lie, prices in pounds that charge you become euros, price poster that does not correspond to the product ...

Staff very helpful and very friendly. A wide variety of items such as house hold etc.

A big store with plenty of choice. The car park is huge so not a problem for parking. The traffic can be bad in the surrounding area though.

Great store. Great value on paints. Tools can be a bit expensive.

Its a giant DIY store with most of what you want and nothing special or out of the ordinary, but then I don't want distraction, I just want in and out.

Very helpful people working there specially the paint mixing desk, the man couldn't of been more helpful. Got the colour paint i needed & he mixed it to perfection

Very big DIY store with free parking.Staff from previous experience are very helpful especially Eddie,a legend!Prices can be high on some items.Liked the free cutting service on large sheets of timber.I noticed on my last visit that the public toilets have been drastically reduced in size.There was seperate mens & ladies restrooms which were quiet large & well maintained. Now everyone uses a single restroom with only a single toilet bowl.As you can guess there was a long queue to use it,this is a big problem.Obviously this is a cost cutting process on B&Q's side.I will not be shopping here again till this is sorted.

Great selection and plenty of room to keep social distance. The only negative is the length of the queue - especially on sunny days!

Mostly great service but tills can be a bit chaotic. Self service ones are useless even when open because most tools and all plants seem to need approval! Tools are good enough quality for the average DIYer. Good selection of paint.

Very well stocked. I have two issues with the place, the first is that staff are very thin on the ground and when you do find one, some are very knowledgeable while others are not. They should all have an equal knowledge. The other thing is that quite a few items are mis priced or else the price is very difficult to find . I find check out staff are friendly though. Free parking outside is very handy

This store doesnt take cash transactions. This is illegal, as cash is legal tender and cant be refused.

Not good for ordering replacement elements for products sold. I.e. Glasshouse Panels!

This morning I went to B&Q in Cork. Although several members of staff helped me, Frank was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING. Nothing was too much trouble, and advice was given in a unbiased and personally-focussed way. He was also so friendly. Thank you - it means much to me to get this sort of service - and I'm pleased with both the quality of products and prices!
