Second time staying in your marvellous hotel.... having had a horrific experience the night before in a different hotel it was refreshing to experience the polar opposite in your hotel.....shirley in reception and Jill in the bar deserve particular praise. Absolute treasures and a credit to your establishment..... couldn't do enough for me and my little daughter ..."daddy I absolutely LOVE this hotel".....that's all that needs to be said really!....see y'all soon

recommended hotet. I spent only one night. The rooms are clean and spacious. Enjoy your breakfast

Stayed here for our kids Santa experience in Fota Island. Lovely hotel, clean & mostly quiet. Their family rooms are 2 double beds, which is disappointing as I had hoped there would be a little more privacy, but none the less, a good stay & nice breakfast.

Great hotel. Amazing staff from the front desk to the meeting rooms and everyone in between. Bar staff were exceptional.

The room was quite small for a family room. The starters and main course were missing most of the stuff on the menu and our main course was an 1hr and half getting to our table. We only wanted the main course taken of the bill but they insited we dont pay at all. This was our second time staying here, not impressed. The only thing good was the kids club and the glass lift. Not impressed

1st time staying here.....will not be the last...had a fantastic time here.

stayed here with my wife for two nights. everyone was really nice and the hotel looked amazing. handy location at the edge of the city bounds so was easy for us to get back on the road home when we were leaving. looking forward to coming back again.

Often meet with my friend for a late breakfast here. Staff are lovely. Even when the breakfast bar is closed they leave us alone. We love the peace and quiet when we are their our lives are so hectic the only time we are interrupted is when staff are clearing our table. Love it there

Altogether we had 4 families staying for 2 nights. All our rooms were together so was handy. Room 413 the family suite was worth the extra few quid room was fab.We had meal in the restaurant on the first night. Food was lovely everyone enjoyed it. Staff on the morning shift are so friendly and welcoming, so friendly with the children. All over a lovely stay kids had a ball and I would return. Would be great if family packages could include swimming too that's my only tip. Other than that our stay was perfect thanks for all your hard work during this strange time.

Nice hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is ok.

The place is located on main road into town. Not near any amenities, out of town. Staff are there to do job but don't have any pride in hotel or good service.
Breakfast was lukewarm to cold, could do with microwave to heat food up.

This is a nice hotel with adequate rooms. The food and drink are great as is the staff. It's a good location for exploring Cork City and County and a welcome place to come home to each evening. It's in just outside the city so the entertainment and other shops are all within a short taxi or bus distance to get out an explore.

Food was poor enough. Service was very bad ,had to go and ask staff to take food order and then had to ask staff again to take drinks order as well .Got a baileys coffee and cream was cracked ,and the girl who I gave it bk to didn't even say sorry .Very poor dont think I would be going bk there soon .

We we're staying in the hotel for 2 nights and Everytime I was at the hotel I had a problem with something. After 2 and half hour drive from Galway I had to wait about 20 minutes to get my room even though I had it prebooked. I bought the room for 2 people and only received one key card that didn't work 3 times and I had to go back 3 times to the reception. After the long drive I wanted to have a bath and noticed half of the toiletries were used and there was no cork in the bath. Went to the reception for the 4th time and was told "so what do you want a different room" and then was told manager will come up to my room. After 20 minutes the manager came to the room gave me 2 rolls of toilet paper and a cork said "here" and left without apologising. We went to bed pretty early and at 11pm we we're woken up by a very loud fire alarm and at 8am same thing happened. So after this disaster we left the hotel and then came back after 8 hours of exploring the city to find out I need to take another trip to reception because our key cards weren't working again. This hotel has nothing special to offer, only a bar. So I suggest if anyone wants to spend 190 euro for 2 nights in cork or so do it in a different hotel. If not for cork having so much to explore this trip would have been ruined.

Short stay. Efficient receptionist. Good food . Comfortable bed

Great hotel, staff were more than helpful. Spent my time in there for quarantine and they made it as smooth as possible.
The food was amazing aswell. The place was kept clean and upheld covid guidelines. I find it pretty hard to find any cons about the place. Would highly recommend.

They make you feel like they want you there enjoyed the visit

Staff were useless and apathetic. Very frustrating and unpleasant stay. It s not as easy as it seems to get to Cork City even though it s just a few kilometres away.

Everything u need is there and if ifs not I'm sure if you ask they shall get for you, staff extremely friendly for the price ur getting a bargain,I have stayed over ten times cant wait for them to open again. Beautiful rooms clean soft and comfortable

Good 4 stars hotel, nice rooms, bathrooms and really good matresses and pillows. Great for business and ceremonies. A bit expensive though.

Booked our family communion meal here for our daughters special day. Staff and food were amazing and the entertainment kept the kids really happy.

Had a great time here very friendly and welcoming staff and clean

Had a great sleep. Room was lovely with comfy bed. All staff so friendly.

Fabulous hotel most staff a1 only one guy on night duty in residents bar rude and obnoxious otherwise very pleasant. breakfast top notch also

Water pressure in shower was great and having a light in the shower was really handy. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Couldn t hear any other guests in there rooms as the hotel was very quiet although seemed full. Staff gave over and above service, very friendly and helpful. I certainly will come back again when I am passing through Cork.

I loved the hotel ,my room was amazing and clean . friendly staff . Very handy coming by the motorway . Great location .

Spent a few days recently.Service at meal times very slow absolutely no organisation among staff.On both evenings main course served an hour after starter. Two small dishes of veg to a table of 8 people and when we asked a Manager for more he said " you got your two dishes" very rude man. Had to go in search of tea on both nights as no one came around. Staff mostly unfriendly except for the odd person. Lunch time very stingy sandwiches on a plate not very appealing with no salad or garnish. Soup was tasteless used lots of salt. Again same problem with tea.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels and I have never experienced such a level of incompetence. I blame management for not training staff correctly and for poor leadership. I would def never set foot in this Hotel again or recommend it.

Both rooms dirty, mould and condensation on the windows.

Could do with a facelift, my room was a bit tired with a few of the fixtures missing. Having a shower was a game of patience not knowing which way was hot and having to wait for warm water. Staff very friendly but the menu is very limited with odd low tables to eat off. I wouldn't like to stay any longer than 1 night.

One of the best hotels I ever been, very good dinner, very nice room and extremely comfortable beds and the breakfast very good!

Lovely hotel. Staff at reception were so nice and the guys in the restaurant were really good fun. Breakfast is huge and free flowing proper bean coffee. Will definitely be back to this friendly place.

Nice hotel. It was family friendly and had a kids club when we stayed. The restaurant food was nice but the evening menu was a little limited I felt. Overall, definitely worth staying at the Clayton.

Lovely hotel. Restaurant staff could not be any more accommodating. Considering the new Normal.. etc.. flying around the hotel in super hot temperatures and smiling behind there masks! HATS OFF

It was an okay weekend. We were stuck here inside as it was pouring down with rain and the wind would cut you. You can only do so much in a Hotel.

Had a lovely 3 night break here. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful, particularly Grace on front desk. Adhered to all covid regulations and hotel was spotless. The only negative was the rooms are far too hot and it would have been great if residents could have had a drink at the hotel, even in their rooms, but that's just a small thing. Also a little bit more of a selection on the menus. Overall, a very nice time.

Great hotel handy for city or Mahon shopping centre and staff and real nice and friendly

This hotel is only 2 mins from Cork City. Its really handy for getting around the city and the sights out a bit further too. The hotel itself has been just done up recently. Our bed was luxurious and the everything was clean and modern. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Very relaxed kind of hotel. Suited us and the kind of break we look for.

Very handy for lunch. Easy access to Tunnel and route to Dublin and Waterford.

Just writing this review to highlight Jill's service.. friendly hard working and welcoming... Makes u fell at home.. book in here for work and would highly recommend.

Terrible 2 night stay... leisure place is up steep hill and away from hotel. People with special needs or health problems should avoid. Kids were served burger that took 40 minutes..and was then overcooked and liked like I wouldn't present it to my dog! Very dissapointed....I don't know where they get "4 Stars" from...

Nice hotel but a Little big far from the city centre

Just back from 2 nights in this hotel rooms were just ok very hot household fan in them but doesn t cool the room down booked the restaurant for two nights but never tasted food so bad in all my life cancelled the second night lack of pool on site is also a big let down unfortunately I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone going forward !

Always enjoy coming back here, mostly for tea/coffee while meeting with friends... Parking tends to be busy in the evenings

Went to the clayton gor breakfast twice. Parking was easy which was great as it was raining. We had a nice welcome in both visits. Good variety of food to choose from. On our second visit we found the food was just warm. A bit expensive at 14 euros per person. But nice gor a treat

Had the most lovely stay here for a conference recently. My bedroom was so nice and clean. The bed was comfy and crisp sheets. Lunch was really good and the staff so friendly. Can't wait for another event here.

Stayed her with the family for an extended weekend. The location was right on the way into Cork from the East side so it suited us. We could get to Fota really easy and with the main roads so close we could get to other locations too within no time.

The reception staff were exceptionally lovely and so were all the others we met during our stay. The food was delicious and the kids club and playground kept the kids happy.

The beds were amazing! I want one for our house now!!!!

Clean spacious room. Staff were very friendly. Babysitting service organised through the hotel was brilliant. The wedding facilities are really good.

Quite friendly staff...very chatty. Bar food was good,especially the seafood chowder. Good selection at breakfast. Modern and clean bedrooms, with safes.
Free parking and WiFi. Close to city centre. Nice hotel.

Very pleasant stay thanks in large part to your very friendly staff.Hotel was very clean and covid protocols were observed without fuss.One small issue we had was that both the evening meal and the breakfast could havd been warmer,but not a big issue.

Left waiting for our room arrived at 15.30(check in from 14.00) didn't get room till 16.20. Woman behind desk said be ready in 5 minutes never came over to us and then left desk at 16.00 and walked right by me without a update. I had to approach reception desk to ask what was happening a about my room eventually it was sorted 20 mins later. Evening meal was fine but breakfast was not great.

Just back from a family holiday in Cork. I felt I needed to tell everyone of the fobulous food and service we received in ''The Silver Springs Hotel''
Child friendly, got to eat all my food everytime we ate there, which does not happen too often when you have kids!! We ate in the lounge twice food very good and tasty. All dietary restrictions catered for with no fuss!! Husband fussy!! Dinner in the restaurant is beyond words, Just delicious!! Presentation out standing,first time trying Hake!!! What a dish!! Ifelt like shouting from the roof top!! Staff are excellent and very informed.
Will be back again very soon. Can't wait!

Second time back had a voucher because the first time there things weren't good. Sorry to say things haven't changed booked for 1-30 arrived 15 minutes early. To be told we couldn't order a roast because kitchen was closed today until 2, apparently was very busy for breakfast. The waiter did ask if all was okay and we felt like we couldn't complain again so said fine. Sorry to say but we won't be back.

The staff were fantastic. So friendly and helpful. The room was very dusty, as if it were only getting a quick lick in obvious places. I had a 2 year old with me who creeps into corners, so he found the black dust. The food wasn't great either. Breakfast wasn't overly warm and I couldn't cut my medium to well done steak without a sawing action. The friendly staff and shining public areas made up for the slightly lower standards in other areas.
