Sierra Air Inc Review

I had my ductting cleaned. Les and Daniel did a great job. Les ran into some challenges with one of the vents. It was most likely installed wrong. He took the time to fix it right!

They took my call for service very quickly and very professionally. They didn't have a Tech available for immediate dispatch but told me one should be available soon. I honestly thought I would have to hang around all day for the Tech. Less than 45 minutes later a Tech Michael called and said he was on his way. Mike showed up and had the problem resolved in less than an hour. Mike was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Thank You Sierra Air you made my day. I am warm again.

Very professional, knowledgeable and excellent service. (The tech showed me how to set up and use my new programmable thermostat.) Highly recommended!

They cleaned the duct work, Dryer vent and AC/Furnace unit. The technicians were polite, on time and they did a marvelous job.

Sierra Air showed up at arranged time. Frank explained everything in detail.The pros and cons of recharging the unit compared to buying a new one. He was fast and efficient. This was the second time we have used this company and would highly recommend it .

Joe was great, he came out on Saturday to check out our air conditioner. He was professional and gave us some great maintenance tips.

Jeff Starky the GM, was incredibly rude. After days of waiting for service to fix an AC unit that wasn t working, they told me they didn t put any info in their system, only to later find it. No calls to say when they will show up and they still haven t. When talking to Jeff Starky, he yelled at me while I was trying to find out what happened. He came off as a verbally abusive man, which is unfortunate, but doesn t phase me. I don t think he likes that I asked to speak to the GM (him) but either way, his actions were unacceptable. This company will be reported. You don t play with people s safety when it s the Summer in the desert and there is no AC. 0 stars if it was available.

Note; I called back to see if the appointment to fix our A/C was scheduled, they didn t see it in their system (again). So I asked Jeff what was going on and he said he went ahead and canceled the appointment. This was without telling me, after days of waiting for my appointment, in the desert during the summer time. There are many better companies available. I wouldn t choose this one.

Update: I called 4 Seasons Heating and Cooling and they came out and fixed the issue with the Air Conditioning the same day. They were amazing. Staff, prices, knowledge, and service were spot on, excellent!

David was very thorough about checking the furnace. I have a lot of confidence in his expertise.

Our entire experience with Sierra Air has been positive. They respond quickly and courteously in all situations, including emergencies. James from Sierra does a nice job of tuning up and monitoring our HVAC system. He does his job with skill and his demeanor is personable and professional.

Mike, the technician got points right away for putting booties over his shoes when he came in the house. He was polite, thorough and knowledgeable. I appreciated him telling me that even though my furnace is 18 years old, it checked out OK but would likely need replacing in the next few years. But it is working as it should right now. He explained what he did and what the findings meant. It took a while to get an appointment for my routine check but since winter was underway when I scheduled, I imagine there were people with urgencies to take care of first. I could wait.

The service person was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to correct a problem. Great work!

We had Stephen as our Tech, he was super professional and was very knowledgeable about the air duct cleaning process. Thank you for the great work!

Answered all our questions, came prepared with mask and shoe covers. He suggested future purchase of compressor saver which we had decided to do today because of the wear on our present system. Very pleasant young man that really cared about our concerns.
We would like to recommend Michael for our future heater and air-conditioner care. Great service!

I am a "comfort care" member which means they come check out my furnace in fall and ac in spring. They are always on time, always polite, give good recommendations etc. They do get booked out so luckily I put my name down in case of a cancellation. Worked out great.

My wife & I are happy with our experience regarding our new heat/AC purchase and installation. Tony Kasper and the three installation guys were all very professional. The new system is working great. We would recommend Sierra Air to anyone.

Tim and Caden came to do the annual furnace service and also look at our fireplace (service). They were professional, friendly and went the extra mile to make sure that things worked perfectly - even cleaned the glass on the fireplace, looks brand new! Definitely recommend them - thank you!

I called because my heater wasn t getting hot, just blowing cold air. They were very prompt and friendly. He checked out my system and corrected the problem quickly, then cleaned the unit. Very pleased with the service. I will be calling them again in the spring to service my air conditioning unit.

Tech James A. showed up on time (called first which was very helpful) - reassured me about several concerns I had about the operation of my 56 year old gas furnace and went right to work cleaning and servicing the unit. He recommended replacing the old, very worn thermocouple and was able to do that immediately. Did a great job cleaning the furnace, replacing the part and cleaning up after himself. Also gave me some information about replacing the furnace itself. I was very happy with his efficient, capable work and friendly manner.

This company is great and does what is needed to get the job done.

Subsequent to my earlier review I received a call and was told a billing error had occurred and I was give a refund of $69 which was good of the company. The service was good, the gentlemen was very polite however I guess the service person tracked time differently than I did. I still feel the charge was more than anticipated but I guess I should ask before I make an appointment so that is my fault.

Based on other advertised prices for the type of service done by other companies I feel they are a bit over priced for the services done so my evaluation is based on price not quality of work.

Michael Hoye did a great job. He arrived early to service our heater/furnace. He explained what he inspected and what parts we will be needing to possibly replace within the next year or so. He was very professional and sincere. We will be requesting him to come out to inspect our heating unit next year.

Sierra Air replaced my whole heating and air conditioning system. I also had them install a steam humidifier. Eddie and Garret did a phenomenal job with the installation and I could not be happier!

Recently bought my house. After research and recommendations, I contacted Sierra Air to come out and clean all the vents and duct-work. Frank did an outstanding job - he was thorough, informative, and efficient. I am very happy with the service.

Also had a new intake filter installed, and a new smart thermostat. Dago handled that work and he too was very informative, thorough and efficient.

They were on time (or early), quickly addressed any issues with my A/C and furnace and instead of just telling me what needed to be fixed, they explained the issues and showed me the readings before just charging me and telling me I needed things that I didn't. Had my ducts cleaned by Carlos and Michael and was highly impressed. Made great efforts to respect my home, were very courteous with my dog who loves to jump. Were understanding when I made them wait to do certain rooms because we had to feed our newborn. And most importantly, I inspected the vents before and after the service and the difference is amazing. Would recommend to anyone with dirty ducts

Damian arrived on time. He performed the AC check, explained what he was doing. He acted professionally and was very amicable. The charge was exactly what I anticipated. Will definitely use Sierra Air in the future for any problems.

My house was sold and the inspection Report stated an issue with the air conditioner. I called Sierra Air and they came out the same day and fixed the problem. The customer service from Frank was fantastic! Thank you Frank and Sierra Air for relieving some of my stress.

Steve was on time and worked hard all morning. He did a good job especially considering our very old air duct registers.

Kyle and Eric came to service my furnace and to do a hot water heater flush today. They did an excellent job. They took care of the furnace AND cleaned up after the trip into the attic. They changed my air filter and put my old one in the trash. They even changed the batteries in my thermostat!! Then they flushed my water heater and there was absolutely no mess or water all over. I am so impressed.
I ve been a comfort club member for about a year and I highly recommend Sierra Air. The service people are excellent representatives of this company. Way to go guys. Excellent customer service!!

9/25/2019. I get Sierra Air to check the furnace heater every year. Mike arrived early and did a thorough detailed service on it. I would like to complement him on his professionalism also. It all adds up to peace of mind going into winter.

Had some problems in beginning but got someone who came back and fixed my problems and just made the whole situation so much better with his kindness. Definitely a great company!

Service rep was polite, considerate and professional. When he saw that there was a component not working up to capacity, he checked and stated that it was still under warranty, and replaced the equipment. I have always had great service from the service techs and the office staff.

We have used Sierra Air Conditioning and Heating since we purchased our 2 rental homes in 2005 - so for over 10 years now. They have done everything from furnace repairs, ac unit updates and replacements, heating vents and duct cleaning along with dryer vent cleaning and quoted us on geothermal heating and cooling. I'm convinced this is the best HVAC company in N. Nevada.

James came on time, was polite, and explained everything so I could understand the work he had completed. Sierra Air always provides great service.

I joined Sierra Air s Home Comfort club about a year ago, and I m so glad I did. Their service is great. If I have a problem they are usually there to fix it within 48 hours. Their technicians are courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful. Their phone operators are always cheerful and happy to help. Prices are reasonable, and they always tell me what needs fixed right away and what can wait due to my budget constraints. It gives me peace of mind knowing that they are there to help when I need it.

How said that no one shows up and doesn t even have the courtesy to call for my appointment that I had between 3-6.I even left work early to deal with this. But after the miscommunication Ricky from the office called and I decided to stop in and talk face to face.I talked with Ricky,Michelle and Jeff they really are nice people and listened.They will be out today and I look forward to have them out in the future as well.Thank you

My first experience with Sierra Air. My name is Ken and we called for simple maintence on our furnace. Belle was our customer service representative and she talked me into joining the Home Comfort Club. At first I was a little hesitant. (Is it really worth the monthly payment?) However once the technician arrived on December 16th I was immediately impressed. Kenny was professional and informative as I was right over his shoulder asking questions. He answered all of my questions and if he couldn't he called and got me the answer. I will be requesting him as my technician from now on. He told me what I would need to have fixed with no pressure to do it now. Being its a week before Christmas. He told me he would pass it along to the proper people so I can have it repaired on my own terms. In this industry the first thing I look for is integrity. I knew what was wrong with my system being its over a decade old. Just really wanted to see if he would try and B.S. me into something else. To my surprise I recieved no B.S. Thank you Kenny and Belle for the excellent service thus far. I look forward to our future services with Sierra Air.

Excellent AC/Furnace company--They replaced an old furnace in one day and suggested other updates that would improve efficiency. Very knowledgeable --very friendly. Certainly not the least expensive company, but they do quick, friendly, and quality work. I would use them again for any other repairs. Five starts is as high as permitted to go.

Kevin Andrews repaired our a/c. We were told by another company we needed a new motor and fan and it would be a week to get the parts. We called Sierra Air and Kevin came out. He checked the motor and the fan. He assembled them correctly and re-installed them and the a/c works perfectly. You have employees that are professional and knowledgeable.. Thank you Kevin. We appreciate that he found the problem and got our a/c working again. Sierra Air will always be our first call. Your employees are dependable, knowledgeable, courteous and your prices are fair.
